Moisturizers -Formula 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Moisturizer

I'm still sort of on the fence about this product. While it does keep my skin shine-free for about 5 hours, it doesn't have a sunscreen which means I can only use it on days where I'll be out of the sun completely or under a foundation with SPF. Other than that it has a nice smell and I'd buy it again unless something better comes along. EDIT 8.11.11--Downgraded this review after using the product for a month. It only kept the greasies away for a couple of hours, and the smell finally got to me. Oh well, the search goes on.
Masks -Yes To Carrots - Yes To Tomatoes - Skin Clearing Facial Mask

A little bit harsh on my skin but the tiny red spots it left on my skin cleared up very quickly. Has a nice smell and you don't need a ton of it to cover your face. I bought this on a whim and am glad I did so!
Really like this cleanser as it does a pretty decent job of getting the last of my makeup off [I use a makeup removing towelette first] and it does a great job removing sunscreen. I use it with my Olay cleansing brush and it is not at all harsh.
I had such high hopes for this sunscreen! The first time I applied it, I got the worst "underground" pimple that I have ever had, right between my eyes. It took forever to heal and I usually don't have that problem with pimples. My husband tried this [he has the most zit-resistant skin I've ever seen] and he broke out as well with the "underground" pimples that I got. I think if you have skin that is the least bit oily or breakout prone, you'd be better to skip this or use it on your body because you will probably break out if you use it on your face.
I like these a lot. I was having trouble finding the Palladio blotting papers I was using for so long, and when I saw these for sale in the mark catalog, I thought "Why not, they're cheap." I'm glad I did because these are GREAT. They don't mess with my makeup and do a great job on makeup-free skin too. Plus they're almost always on sale, which I like.
This is for the body wash formula. Gentle enough to use on my face and shave my legs, this is a great product. Husband even uses it and says it doesn't break him out or make him sneeze. Good stuff.
This is for the "Big Fix" Balm Stick. From dry cuticles, to cracked lips, this stuff is the BOMB. It has a bit of a 'green grass' smell to me, but it fades really fast. Love it and I hope mark/Avon doesn't discontinue it any time soon.
Shampoo -Yes To Carrots - Pampering Carrot Juice Shampoo

Cleans like a dream, doesn't dry out my scalp and doesn't strip my color. The only thing I don't like is the bottle design, it's a bit hard to squeeze if your hands are slippery or your grip strength isn't that good. Other than that, I love this stuff :)
Conditioner -Yes To Carrots - Pampering Hair Mud Conditioner

I really like the way this conditions my hair and doesn't weigh it down. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the bottle is a little hard to squeeze if you have slippery hands or your grip strength isn't that great. Other than that, it's a great conditioner, doesn't mess with my color and rinses out in a snap.
Good lord I can NOT believe I ever wore this stuff as a teenager and liked it. Not only did it make me sneeze, it broke me out as if I'd gotten into poison ivy! It stinks like nothing else I've smelled and I passed it along to a co-worker who liked it. Yech!
I love this scent and of course, Avon discontinues it! I'm stocking up like crazy while I can because it smells so lovely and isn't overpowering like a lot of their fragrances can be.
I really, really wanted to like this product but it turned orange on me no matter what I did before putting it on. It didn't feel oily or heavy the way some tinted moisturizers I've used in the past, but alas, I'm still on the search for a good tinted moisturizer. Guess I'll go back to mixing a tiny bit of my foundation with moisturizer as that never let me down.
This review is for "Cocky," a styling gel-creme that can be used on either wet or dry hair. This product is quite versatile and gives your hair shape and volume no matter if it's applied on wet or dry hair. On dry hair, I can get a nice "pompadour" in the front of my hair that lasts all day even with only a touch of hairspray. On wet hair, I get a lot of shine and control that doesn't feel greasy. You only need a TINY bit of this product, it's that concentrated. My hair stylist used a drop the size of a small pea and it was almost too much. I think the tube I got back in March is going to last me till Xmas of next year! Good product for the price.
I have used this product in the pink camo and leopard print. Excellent staying power, easy to apply and comes off quickly with an acetone-based remover. The nail art strips are funky and cute, and the regular colors are quite pretty.' The only bummer is that once the airtight package is open, you have to discard any strips you don't use as the sticky stuff that holds the strips to your nails dries out quickly. I'm not sure if putting the unused strips into an airtight bag or container would work or not, I haven't tried this. Good value for the price! EDIT: There are a couple of patterns/colors that don't work so well on my fingers, but work great on my toes!
Mascara -L'Oreal - Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara
magpiesparkle 3/21/2011 3:25:00 PM
This review is for the copper [blue eyes] and black mascara. First, the black mascara is WONDERFUL. It doesn't clump up and lasts all day with very little smudging [happens if I put eye cream too close to my eyes]. The copper mascara adds nice little flecks of color that are very subtle but enhance my eye color. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the spiky ball wand that you use to put the enhancer mascara on. It's a bit weird but once you use it, you'll get the hang of it. Nice product, will definitely buy again.
