My favorite liquid foundation. It's lightweight and spreads easily, yet covers beautifully. Just makes you look like you have a great complexion without looking cakey or too obviously made up. It's also long lasting. The lightest color is perfect for my very fair skin.

Self Tanners -St. Ives - Healthy Brilliance Body Moisturize for Fair to Medium Skin Tones

The one I have is Healthy Brilliance Protect and Glow. I received it as a swap extra, and it is one of the best self tanners I've tried. The SPF is only 7, so I wouldn't purchase it for the "protecting" factor, but it does give believable color. I'm very fair, and it shows up as a light brown, not orange or yellow. It dries quickly, and doesn't smell as bad as most self tanners. The other thing I like about it - since it is gradual, it doesn't streak.

Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Skin Foundation SPF 15 (Porcelain [0])

Goes on light but has great coverage, lasts the day, and porcelain is a great shade for fair skin. Update - not as long lasting and the coverage not as great as Lancome's Teint Miracle. I also prefer the shade of TM - more neutral.

I was able to get the 01 shade through swapping, and even though it's a tad dark, I can lighten it a bit with a highlighter or a dab of paler fdtn. Using a ST in the summer it will be perfect. I goes on smooth and light but has great coverage. Glamorous packaging, gorgeous foundation.Update: swapped it, great but just too dark.

Since adding BP (which by the way has totally cleared up my acne - yes, acne can effect you even in your 40's, unfortunately, but bp is a miracle product!) to my skincare routine my skin has been flaky and practically everything I put on it makes it sting. I also use retin-a a few times a week at night, which causes dryness/flakiness as well. I read some reviews on this and decided to give it a try. I bought it a couple of weeks ago, and it totally lives up to the rave reviews. No stinging, no flakiness - fantastic product, and you can't beat the price! I always fear that moisturizer will cause acne, but my skin is still clear as well. I'm going to get some for my mom too. =) Thanks again to all you marvelous MUAers for passing the word! Update - still thinks it's great, but it did pill up on me, so I passed it on to Mom and moved on.

Fragrances -Frederic Malle - Outrageous!

I also expected more from Frederic Malle. Silly name, but that happens. . . . . I figured it would probably be great anyway. . . .my initial impression was of orange blossoms and celery. No, that's not even as good as it sounds - yuck. Disappointing.

I had a sample of this. It has a nice texture, but a bit perfumey - pilled up and stings a bit.

Gorgeous MLBB shade - I think of it as rose beige - neutral, maybe a tad bit on the warm side, but looks great with everything. I love the satiny feel of KissKiss l/s - goes on soft and satiny, but doesn't melt and turn to mush as easily as Clinique Buttershines, which I also love, but get too squishy near the end!

I absolutely love this fragrance. I try to spray it lightly, because it is a bit strong. It's also quite sweet - too much so to use on a regular basis, and I prefer it in the fall/winter. Definitely delectable. Kind of like Givenchy Organza Indecence. another winter delight. Don't wear either when you don't want to be noticed!

Pennypencil said it best - I concur. I swapped for a bottle, then later reswapped it, because it was a bit much for me. I would still like to have a decant for a special occasion once in a while. . . .
