Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Studio Cream Eyeshadow in Eggplant

Huge huge raves for this product! I bought it on a whim not really knowing what to expect and I was pleasantly suprised when I put this on. Its not a true eggplant color, it has a reddish brown tint to it, but its fantastic on my pale, cool skin. I applied it with the brush that came with the UD Naked Palette and it was so smooth. The formuma is very slippery so I can ser this getting messy if applied with fingers, but the UD brush is perfect for this and other cream shadows. I love this and look forward to trying other colors!
concealer lips. enough said.
i dont know what to say about this lipstick. its .. okay. i find that it tends to highlight flakes and dryness if your lips are not freshly exfoliated and moisturized. it looks decent with a smoky eye, but i find the finish a little frosty for everyday wear. i wouldnt repurchase this, just because i find it so mediocre for the price.
Misc Beauty Tools -New York Color - Eyelash Curler

i purchased this eyelash curler in the 8th grade. i am now 23 years old and i still have this little gem and its in perfect working order. i cant imagine an eyelash curler functioning any better than this one. it really does its job- as it has been for the past ten years.
Foundations -Cover Girl - Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation

im so exstatic that i found a foundation that doesnt make me wanna claw my face off! this is no small feat for me, as i have horribly sensitive skin and 80% of the products i try are a fail. this doesnt make me itch or blotchy and for that, i love this stuff. the coverage is very minimal, it definitely just accentuates your natural skin.. if you need a foundation to cover stuff up, look elsewhere. on me, this product is beautiful and dewy and lasts until i remove it. highly recommend for sensitive folk, as there are no unnatural dyes in it.
i purchased this gloss in baby blossom and i have found my HG gloss and shade. baby blossom is everything i wanted nars turkish delight to be, but the formula is far superior and obviously this gloss is cheaper. its the perfect pale pink shade for my super pale skin. i usually hate gloss in general because it can be so sticky and goopy, but i love this gloss to pieces! i want to shout about it from the rooftops :)
Polishes -Essie - Turquoise & Caicos (Resort 2010)

i own both this and for audrey. i was hesitant to buy this because the two polishes are slightly dupey, but i much prefer t and c on my skintone (im supe pale with cool undertones). this is such a beautiful color for the warmer weather, and i have received many compliments when wearing this polish. i wasnt expecting much from an essie polish in terms of formula, but the formula was suprisingly smooth and buttery and left no streaks and bubbles in its wake :)
Masks -Unlisted Brand - Aztec - Indian Healing Clay

this is a great product for those seeking treatment for the skin without heavy duty chemicals and other nasties. i find this mask to be wonderful for clogs, blackheads and whiteheads. it seems to almost suck the junk out of your pores, and it certainly feels like it is doing just that, as this sucker hurts when it dries and tightens up. i mix with acv and leave on until dry, about half and hour. my skin is red as all hell after for an hour or so, but my skin feels smooth as a babys butt when i wake up in the morning :) this stuff is a pain in the butt to mix together and clean the tools you used to mix it afterwards, but i suppose its a small price to pay. even my hyper-masculine SO loves it!
i find myself lusting after a nice scrub that softens skin and sloughs off all the dead stuff .. and this does just that. its very exfoliating without being too abrasive and is my new HG scrub for dry summertime flip flop feet :) a bonus is that it doesnt leave your shower floor slick and slippery like some other scrubs do (yeah, im lookin at you, sabon ..). its wonderful for the price - i got a package of three huge tubs for 16 bucks on amazon and im sure these three tubs will last me years
i love this stuff. it really sets makeup and the effect lasts for hours, far beyond any other setting powder. i love that it smells like old ladies and dusty vanities, but the smell may not be for everyone. i got a huuuge tub of the stuff, which im convinced will last me the rest of my life, at walmart for about six bucks.
at first i was skeptical about buying this, wondering what the difference between using this and just plain evoo to cleanse/remove makeup would be. but i bought it, knowing that its japanese and they dont mess around with their skincare.. and WOW. i was blown away with how effectively yet gently this stuff removes makeup, even wp mascara which i usually pull and rub at til my eyes are sore. and it rinses off with no residue whatsoever on your face. my skin is soo sensitive and i never know what to expect with cleansers, but no reaction! (for reference, ive been battling perioral derm for years now) i wanna find whoever created this and hug them.
Hair Removal -eos - Shave Cream Ultra Moisturizing Pomegranate Raspberry
kushiez 7/24/2011 11:29:00 AM
i have been shaving my legs for about ten years now, and this is hands down the worst shaving cream ive ever used. it literally feels like youre shaving with nothing to protect your skin. shaving was painful and extremely irritating with this stuff. if desperate times call for desperate measures, id rather use hair conditioner..it does a better job than this junk.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Satsuma Body Butter

i have mized feelings about this bad boy. while i love citrusy scents (and it does not get more citrus-y than this stuff), im bummed at the lasting power of the fragrance. i was hoping to be able to use this instead of perfume in the hotter months, but alas, this is not the case. it is nice and moisturizing, but nothing you cant get from an $8 bottle of jergens. for the price, i am super disappointed.
