I have super oily skin and this is just completely useless. I have tried this several times over the years and finally just pitched it. It is dusty and has a scent that I cannot stand. just not for me. Cornstarch? Really? I was surprised by finding that out in other reviews.
This is the only thing I continue to purchase and use from BE and have used bare minerals for years to set my tinted moisturizer. It works wonders and minimizes pores and shine really well. I think people have such issues with this b/c they try to do the blend buff thing that can make u end up looking powdery and cakey. if you have oily skin like me try this for a setting powder. I have medium skin and use medium beige in matte b/c it is made for neutral undertones. It does not leave you orange or pink. I am all about natural looking light coverage and this is it. Price is kinda steep but it lasts for quite some time since I only set my TM. Check out ebay for great deals on BE from many authentic sellers.
I am kicking myself for not trying BB products sooner. Her powder blushes are the best I have ever tried and believe me I have tried a lot. They melt into your skin. I live in a really small town that has a Sephora about forty minutes away but it blows. It does not offer the majority of brands that are available at other Sephoras I have been to in the past. It is mainly hair products and stuff. I apologize for the rant but it really frustrates me b/c this is why I have never branched out to try BB. There is not a counter in sight. I stumbled across Bobbi Brown's products on QVC so I thought I would order a few because what doesn't work I can always send back with no charge. I love Kate Middleton's makeup minus the heavy liner and I read that she uses BB. I bought this and Pale pink (which she wears). Pale pink is a must have too! It is so pretty. Sand pink is what I wanted Mac Blushbaby to be on me but it was always ruddy and just plain yuck. Sand pink has a bit of brown in it that just looks sooo natural. On me it is like a blend of pink blush and bronzer. It is like you are not wearing anything. Pale Pink and this are the most natural blushes that I own. Pale Pink is the "blushing child" kind of blush and Sand Pink is pure natural perfection. Just be sure to use a really light hand. I use my Nars Yachiyo (hope thats spelled right) and still have to be careful. It is much more pigmented than Pale Pink. TAP off the excess or it will stick in one spot. I am ready to get rid of all my other powder blushes and just use these. They are perfect.
I am on my second pot of this I have been using this for years. I LOVE it and cannot live without it. Before I tried this I was using Rimmel's eyeliner pencil in ginger tea?! (which has been discontinued) its been so long I can't remember the exact name for it but it was ginger something. Well, rich ground is even better than it. It makes my green hazel eyes pop without looking unnatural. I do not wear eyeshadow. I just apply painterly paint pot all over my lid and then this. I wear it every single day and never tire of it. I have even died my hair from light brown with highlights to a chestnut brown and it still looks great. highly recommend.
I am on my second tube of this. i LOVE it! I just throw this on in the morning and I am good to go. It gives just a hint of pink and great natural looking shine without the stickiness you find in other brands. I love how it also makes my teeth look really white. I pray they never discontinue this shade I will be so ticked.
I will not give this a bad rating just because it doesn't work for me. I understand that it is a frost but it just looks to pale and frosty on me. I have really pigmented lips so I am guessing that is why I cannot pull it off. I gave this to my cousin and it looks great on her. She is fair skinned and has nude color lips. oh well, pretty color that I just cannot pull off.
Highlighters -Bobbi Brown - Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick

As I posted in my review for BB Pale Pink, I bought this because I read that Kate Middleton uses it and my only complaint is the tiny amount you get for the price. I do think that BB's products will last a very long time so I guess that doesn't really matter. I really like how subtle it is while still adding a natural highlight. So far I have only tried it over Pale Pink blush and the Pale Pink rouge pot and really liked the results. I have not tried it by itself but I don't think it would really show up on my medium tone skin. I have tried several highlights with little luck. Nars albatross and Copacabana left me a shiny glittery mess. I tried one from Mac that just broke me out. Pink Quartz reminds me of Bare minerals in clear radiance (without the beige and brown shades you get in the shimmerbrick) If you are looking for a less expensive dupe and are just wanting a pink shade I would try that. You can always find it super cheap on ebay.
I have been wanting to purchase this for quite some time. I would always talk myself out of it because I already have Nars Desire which looks really similar to Pale Pink but its not even close. I am a sucker for pink blushes and really just blush in general.I am always trying to find the one. I read that Kate Middleton used Pale Pink on her wedding day so I decided to take the plunge and buy it. I have to say I have found the blush I have been looking for. This is the only powder blush I have ever used that just melts into your skin. It looks like a cream blush. It is such a beautiful natural shade. Desire just seems to sit on top of my cheeks without sinking in to the skin. My only complaint with the blush is the amount you get. It seems pricey for such a small amount. I guess I am used to Nars blushes that come with a nice amount of product. I also purchased the Pink Quartz shimmerbrick and could not believe how tiny the product was compared to the case. I will say that the products are great even with the price but dang.
I love this. I am a fan of multiples. They last for years and years and are great travel companions. South Beach and Orgasm are my favorite and they really compliment each other. I love how simple orgasm is, like others have said you can just throw this on and run out the door. I don't have an issue with glitter transfer at all. It is the most natural flattering color I probably own that contains shimmer. I am a fan of the powder version but find that this is much more natural. I have never tried this on my lips or eyes and really don't plan too. I use South Beach on my eyes( which is really pretty on green/hazel eyes) and just stick to regular lip gloss. I would purchase again but this will last for a long time. You can also find the mini versions on ebay for about 15.00 if you don't want to fork out the 40.00. I just recently bought a mini orgasm to throw in my purse and it is 100% authentic Nars.
Foundations -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full-Coverage Foundation SPF 15

I actually bought this months back and have yet to review it. I just could not make this work for me at all and it broke me out with cystic acne. ugh. Pros: Price is reasonable, can return to QVC if you dont like it. Does give great coverage, love the brush, and it doesnt take much product to do your whole face Cons: Doesn't look too natural (at least on my skin) I think that this only works well on people who aren't super oily. I on the hand am super oily and this just sank into my pores and melted off my face. I also found that I would have to set this with powder which would make me look like I was dead and wearing way to much makeup. This also rubs off sooo badly. I would hug my husband or son and they would have it on their clothes and my face barely touched the fabric. just not a fan. glad to hear that others like this.
I have been using this product for the past two weeks and I really like it. I do not have the hereditary circles that are constantly there, I have the blue veiny ones due to lack of sleep and sinus/allergies. I have trouble finding anything to cover these types of circles without being really visible and creasing. I have tried a wide variety of brands, creams, and powders and nothing seems to work. Before this stuff I was at the point where I didn't even care if they were visible. I apply my tm, then this, and then set with bare minerals matte foundation and I really like the results. I will def. repurchase but I think this will last awhile. I don't find myself using much of it each time. I use the medium shade but will prob switch to the lighter one in the winter. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something to just minimize their circles and discoloration. I cannot say how this works on puffiness b/c my issue is circles. I wish I would have given this a chance when I first saw it advertised.
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

Wow! I cannot believe I have not tried this sooner. I have been using this for several days and am still in total shock at this mascara's amazing abilities. I apply one coat and my lashes are touching my eyebrows. This stuff is magical. I have been using Loreal Vol. Carbon Black for months but I will use this for the rest of my mascara wearing days. Carbon Black as well all know gets clumpy and spidery. ugh. I have already bought all the tubes left at my Walgreen's, I am in fear that this will be discontinued or something. This is one of those products you can't believe you have missed, 2.99 is a total steal and I would honestly pay more for it. It is that good. I have def. overlooked this brand and look forward to trying more of its products.
I have given up my beloved laguna for this. I have used laguna for years and just decided it was no longer working for me. I just felt like it looked over done and got more orange throughout the day. I decided to try Nars Zen as a bronzer and then apply Nars Gaiety on the apples of my cheeks. I read online that this was a combo being used by Nars or some runway show.... It is a beautiful natural combination that I have been using the past few weeks. Its a very classy look.
I just bought this and after I first applied it I was not happy. It looked spotty and muddy. I left it on and piddled around the house, about fifteen minutes later I looked in the mirror and loved the color. I think if you apply this over foundation or tinted moisturizer(I use TM) it may need time to settle. I am in love with this color, like everyone has said if gives such a natural warm glow.
I cannot believe this works so well for just ten dollars! I stumbled upon this at drugstore.com. The reviews for this is outstanding and it was like each reviewer had the same issue as me. I only break out with a cystic pimple here and there that takes forever to heal. By the time I heal that one I get a new one and am always left with a red mark that lingers. I always figured my issue was hormonal and being on Yaz did help but once I switched to generic for financial reasons it quit working. I never understood why I could not keep my face perfectly clear. I exercise, drink tons of water, and have dropped a small loan on Proactiv and other products. I always always wash off my makeup. Sorry, I will try to keep it short. This stuff is amazing. The pills truly do work for hormonal issues. I tried the cream twice and really liked it but I do not have any pimples on my face so I do not feel like I need it. It does contain 5% BP so it can dry your skin out. I do not have near the amount of oil that I had and absolutely zero cystic pimples. I will never be without this stuff. The price is great. Most scripts will cost you at least ten dollars for your copay. If you order from drugstore.com you can even build up bucks back with them that goes towards future purchases. I highly reccomend this product for women suffering from this issue. Good Luck! I do not believe this is sold in stores btw which is a bit of a bummer.
