Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush in Candid Coral

I recieved this and Twinkle Pink for Christmas this past year, and am so surprised I haven't reviewed them yet because I love them! Out of the two, I wear this one more because it goes with more of my coral-y makeup looks. The color is an orange toned coral (at least on my fair skin) with a slight hint of pink. It's a matte blush, which I prefer for every day. It comes in a package very similar to those of the Nars blushes, and looks incredibley chic in my makeup collection. The pigmentation is good, but not wet n wild color icon blushes good, which I like because those can be a bit hard to blend out/too harsh on my fair skin. I would definitely buy this again, and at three dollars, I'll be picking up more of the line. These blushes are a great find.

I got this blush and Candid Coral for Christmas, and have been loving them ever since. My usual blushes, wet n wild color icon, have been replaced! This blush is a light pink with shimmer--semi heavy skimmer--so I use this as a highlightler as well, but just on the tops of my cheekbones. The pigmentation is good, not quite as pigmented as the color icon blushes which I like, because those can be a bit too pigmented for applying on the go. I like to apply this either with the flat top powder brush or the complexion brush, both by Elf. Would I repuchase this? Yes. It's three dollars at Target and on their website. Also, the packaging is very similar to Nars and looks incredibley chic in my makeup collection.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Pomegranate Citrus

I always make sure to buy a ton of these durring their semi anual sales. It smells exactly how the same implies. It's sweet and fruity, but with a citrus tang to it. The lasting power is nice, it stays on for about eight hours before the smell begins to fade. I love this fragrance, and for 3.25 durring the sales, you can't go wrong.

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious Cupcakes

I believe I had the Red Velvet gloss. The texture and color were perfect--no shimmer, medium coverage pink, slightly sticky--but the gloss itself ended up seperating (goopy gloss on the top, yucky oily stuff being squeezed out) after about a month. I did enjoy using the gloss, but wouldn't have repurchased anyway. Now I definitely won't. It is a nice color, though, but buy at your own risk.

Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips in Quenched

I got this a while ago, maybe a year ago, back when they very first came out. I remembered liking it to begin with, but then I began to notice how greasy it is! It would feel realy uncomfortable on my lips to the point where I would end up having to wipe it off. Also, I don't know if this was just me, but it seemed to dry out the skin around my mouth. Don't ask me why or how, I just know that every time I wore this my face would become dry. And on top of that, it didn't moisturize my lips! I don't know if I got a bad tube or something, but I just couldn't roll with this. I much prefer my eos and nivea lipbalms to this.

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious Tasty Lip Jewels - Strawberry Bling
rated 4 of 5

I'm kind of ashamed to like this, since it has enough glitter for my familiy's glitter ball Christmas tree...but oh, how I love it. It's NOT an everyday gloss for me--I much prefer very nude lips--but for special occasions this is great! Especially if I'm going to be taking photos, this looks so unexpected and cathes the light beautiful. Wearing this always gets me many 'what lipgloss is that' and 'your lips!' comments. The color is a very very sheer red with shimmer. Sometimes if I really want to wear this to school, I'll layer it over my faveorite nude lipstick (Rimmel Airy Fairy) for a subtle sparkle effect. I believe it retails for 8.00 at Bath and Body Works.

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious Frozen Daiquiri

Mmmmm...this gloss smells and tastes so good! I recently ran out of mine and have yet to repurchase, but I most certinly will! On my lips, it comes off a sheer wash of shimmer that really looks great alone or over pretty much every lipstick I own. I also like to place it in the center of my lips at a 'highlighter'. The smell/taste reminds me a lot of the Victoria's Secrect Beauty Rush lipgloss in Strawberry Fizz-the texture is also very similar. Both are sticky, but not too sticky, and last for around three hours.

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious - Pink Grapefruit
rated 5 of 5
kikidoll27 4/1/2013 1:18:00 PM

This is my HG spring/summer gloss. There color is a light peachy pink that looks nice over my favorite coral lipstick (revlon moondrops in blase apricot) or on its own. The scent is just what the name implies--pink grapefruit. It smells very fresh and fun. It's not sticky or greasy, and lasts about two hours.

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious Black Cherry

I hate to bring down the rating for this product, because I do like Liplicious lipglosses. Unfortunately, this one did not rock my world. I love the color. It's a sheer but juicy berry with shimmer laced into it that looks nice aganist my fair skin. I would love it, except...the smell! It's so strong. I don't even know. It's a very cherry medicince scent that's overwhelming, and the scent it basically the same. If they reformulated this w/o the scent, I could get on board. The other con is that it's quite sticky, but I prefer sticky glosses since they adhere to my lips and tend to have better lasting power.

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious Cotton Candy
rated 3 of 5
kikidoll27 4/1/2013 1:01:00 PM

This is 8.00 at Bath and Body Works. The Liplicious line has an array of glosses that remind me a lot of the phiosophy glosses since they're all scented and usually inspired by a food/drink. They also have a lot of similar colors, and some glosses have a texture similar to each other. This lip gloss is a sheer gloss with a hint of shimmer laced into it. It looks lovely over lipsticks/placed in the center of your lips as a highlight of sorts. Unfortunately, it is SO sticky, which I could overcome if...it didn't smell so strong! It smells like cotton candy, but very chemically at the same time. And it smells so strong! The taste isn't much better. I do enjoy the look of this lipgloss, but the feel and the scent are dealbreakers. I passed this along to my mom.

Other -Caboodles - Makeup Cases
rated 4 of 5
kikidoll27 4/1/2013 11:55:00 AM

I actually bought one of these on a whim to keep my beloved makeup products safe while traveling (even though I keep them in my carry on, I still worry about my babies getting broken or shattered). I got the case with the purple lace detailing on it because it looked cute and I'm a sucker for lace. Inside the case, there is a big suqare part at the botton where I like to keep my pallettes/foundations/travel skincare and my headband for pushing back my hair when I wash my face. Above that, there are three tiers of long skinny rectangles on each side that stack on top of eachother when closed. There I keep my brushes/lipglosses/eye makeup/ect. I really like this case because it's cute, durable, and does the job. I've never had makeup break while in here. I also use this when I go to sleepovers to store my makeup in. All in all, it's just a great thing to have for traveling. If you're new to makeup, you could actually keep your entire collection in here to have it be portable. I have wayyyy too much makeup for that, but I may just keep my favorite in this so I can have it ready to go at the drop of a hat. I think I would buy this again, or at least another case by this brand, because it's inexpensive...and so cute!

Masks -Freeman - Feeling Beautiful - Facial CLAY MASK Avocado & Oatmeal
rated 4 of 5
kikidoll27 4/1/2013 11:33:00 AM

I've always been hesitant to use face masks on my acne prone skin. Recently though, I've gotten the acne under control and have been trying to work on scar reducing...so I figured I was safe to try a mask. I've had this under my skin for a while now and decided to break it out after reading all the good reviews for it. It smells nice and has a lovely silky texture to it. After my shower and washing my face with my Purpose gently cleansing wash, I spread a decently thick layer of this all over and waited about half an hour. Then I washed it off and patted dry, and did the rest of my routine at normal. I can feel a difference already just in the way my skin looks and how smooth my makeup goes on. I used to use this reliegiously a while ago, and never had many issues with it. I'm not sure why exactly I stopped using it, maybe I just got too busy with homework, but I do plan to use this twice a week from now on, and leave it on while I do my homework. I will also try this as a spot treatment and update. Will I repurchase? Yes, but I also want to try the mint and lemon mask and a few more from this brand before I do.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Lip Butter
rated 4 of 5
kikidoll27 4/1/2013 11:24:00 AM

I purchased this in Pomegranate. I have had my eye on this for a few months now, and finally stopped by Sephora in my local mall to scope it out. I was debating between getting the jar or the lipgloss version of it which is only two dollars more, but figured I had enough glosses, and if I did get a gloss, it would probably get shoved to the back of my makeup drawer. So I got the jar. The packaging is very cute and chic. It's easy to toss in my makeup bag and go, but very hard to apply on the go because if I take a lip brush, the excess will smear all over my bag, but if I don't and apply with my fingers, I have to casually wipe it off on someone I don't like, which can be tricky to do because I have to be reallly sneaky (heh heh, just kidding...sort of). I normally stick to applying it at home for that reason. But come summer, I know I'll use it more. I'm really glad I decided to pick up the color Pomegranate because I was originally looking at Jasmine, but the lady at Sephora said she preferred this one, and that she thought I would like it better too, so of course I got it. It was 12 dollars which I think is a pretty good price for a higher end brand. The product itself is very silky and it doesn't feel greasy on my lips. I really like applying it in the morning at letting it sink in while I do my makeup. It goes on a nice, natrual coral color that looks lovely aganist my fair skin. The only thing I don't like is that it only lasts for an hour or so. Overall, I really like it and will repurchase, and get the gloss version of this for on the go.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain
rated 5 of 5
kikidoll27 4/1/2013 10:56:00 AM

I've had my eye on this lipstain/gloss since it first came out. But the ten dollar price tag was a lot to me, since the tube is so small and I've seen a lot of negative reviews on this. My Mom and I finally got coupons for CVS, so I picked this and a few other things up. The color I ot this in is rose on and on. It's a really pretty pink rose color in the tube, but once on my lips it becomes a darker pink that's really pretty. I think what I like most about this lipstain/gloss is the texture and look on my lips. It's difinitely a wet shine stain. It's pretty wet and slippery, but sets in around a minute. I can build it up to really dark, or put on one thin coat for everyday and have it look really nice and natrual. The shince stays on pretty much all day along with the color. I really like this, and may pick up pick resistance. Not sure if I will though, because rose on and on was really the only one that caught me eye. UPDATE 3/11/13: This stuff lasts forever on my lips, without drying them out! And it definitely looks 'wet', as the name implies, but more of a wet stain vs a wet gloss. It feels comfortable on and looks really nice. The color actually oxidizes a little to a vampy dark pink boardering on a pink-red with a hint- and I mean a HINT- of violet in it, nothing too visible or scary (I can't rock purple lips), but enough to make my lips look, well, vampy. If you're looking for something longlasting, I cannot stress how long this lasts on my lips! It lasts for at LEAST six or seven hours, then it begins to gradually fade. But I think you could get away for wearing this for ten hours without needing to reapply. I only apply one coat of this, and I'm good for the day. Definitely a must have in my collection- I have nothing like this. And the packaging? Adorable. Oh, and also, it stays shiny all day. Unlinke those glosses that loose their shine after an hour or two and leave behind a stain, this keeps the shine for as long as it keeps the color. Awesome product!
