Masks -MAC - Volcanic ash Thermal Mask
rated 4 of 5

I think that this product is.. slightly overrated. Pros: It heats up (when there is water) I can feel it clearing my pores (it stings.><) My skin feels smooth afterwards It apparently feels like.. going to the spa (i've never went before) Cons: It's twenty-five dollars for a tube.. (CDN dollars) It smells. Its black, if you're not careful when washing it off, it'll get everywhere It stings. My cheeks are now bright pink, and still has a stinging sensation-ish feeling. Basically, i feel that this is a really good mask. However, i feel that dishing out 25 dollars for it is just too much.

Lip Treatments -Carmex - EZ-ON APPLICATOR
rated 5 of 5

Edit: March 29, 2013 - That sad moment when you realize that tube of carmex was from 2009... So I went back to using Carmex because I wanted to use up my makeup (I've been hoarding for the past 6 years). I guess I got over the scent, and learned that I have to apply a generous amount of it for it to be moisturizing because otherwise it just rubs off of me since I lick/bite my lips a lot. VERY GOOD WITH HEALING COLDSORES ! I HATE THE SMELL OF THIS! ..and the taste. It really gives me headaches and nausea. Very not welcoming when it comes to using this. HOWEVER. It works miracles.. Its a love hate relationship in my case, but i'll use it when i need to. =( Edit, october 11. I officially hate this now. It drys my lips out like there is no tomorrow. Well it moisturizes, then sorta exfoliates, and then my lips flake, and are red, and are irritated or something. I was wearing carmex for one whole week without anything else on my lips, and yeap, my lips got worse. DO NOT RECOMMEND. If this works for you, CONGRATS! but it failed miserably for me. ><

Lip Treatments -Blistex - Lip Infusion
rated 3 of 5

Theres barely any product, dries on my lips too quickly, and the roller ball isnt something that is special enough for me to pay 4 dollars for... I bought 2 because it was 2/6 dollars, but now i regret throwing away the reciept... Not something that i'd die for. DEFINATELY NOT. I like how cool it feels when applying it, but thats about it.. it barely moisturizes..

I have like.. a bunch of this lip balm lying.. where ever.. LOL I use it all the time. its not too greasy, and it moisturizes (sorta) I love this lip balm, but i knocked off a lippie because its not moisturizing enough, nor medicated, so whenever my lips get irritated and dry, this doesnt get the job done (helping my lips heal faster, and keeping it moisturized and less in pain during the process)

Polishes -Revlon - Silver Screen
rated 3 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/8/2009 11:27:00 PM

Usually my reviews are just whatever's going through my head at the moment, but this time i'm just going to try to use the pros/cons format, and posting my reasoning for the number of lippies/price/whatever. Pros. - 2 coats is enough - very opaque - a true silver color - very bright, stands out Cons. - the brush, i'm too used to using the newer flat brushes so when i paint my right hand with my left hand, it looks very streaky. - this streaks because of its metallic finish - its TOO true of a silver for me. Makes my nails look.. weird. Just too bright for my approx. NC40 hands. Rating is at 3, because i have to use another sheer color over top so it doesnt show as something too bright (Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in VIP Pink, because its sheer, and changes the silver into a metallic-y dirty lavender) and because of the brush. Price is at 1, because it is cheap for what i get. Comparable to Nicole by OPI (there is a VERY similar color, for double the price) Packaging is at 3, cuhs well, the brush is not what i like, and the shape of the bottle, i dont like. (i know, i'm picky, but i have limited space to store these, and i prefer bottles that are just straight up and down, and not big on the bottom/ small on top.) No, i wont buy this again, because having to use two colors at once to use this nail polish means that this will last me a while. (i'm too lazy to re do my nails most of the time, especially if i have to use 4 coats of polish + base and top coat and wait for them all to dry one by one) I do recommend this for someone with a lighter skin tone though. Something under NC30 (on the hands)

Hair Color -Garnier - 100% Color [DISCONTINUED]
rated 1 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/8/2009 5:27:00 PM

HORRIBLE. My natural hair is a warm black, with random patches of brown in it, so sometimes, if i'm dying a family member's hair black (covering greys) i would use whatever's left over on my hair to cover the brown, and it works great. (but LOL, its black dye, and naturally black hair, almost impossible to screw it up). This time, i decided that i wanted to dye my hair the color that the random brown patches were cuhs my skin is getting lighter, and black looks harsh.(I bought dark brown) . BUT. My hair got darker instead of lighter. UGH. And school just started. Now i have to live with this icky chemical smell, and Harsh black color. My hair doesnt feel any dryer than it was though, probably because its really fine and soft before anyways. Now i just hope that because of the dye, my hair has more volume. Otherwise i will seriously kill myself for being stupid enough to dye my hair this color. ><

Treatments -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment [DISCONTINUED]

I think that this stuff is breaking me out. I'm not entirely sure because i've been using this on and off, and lately i haven't been consistent with my skincare stuff, but i'm breaking out badly on one cheek. Yeap, just one cheek. No idea why. I am getting little bumps that seem to me, are clogged pores that are all over my face though.. Which sucks because school is starting tomorrow, and half my face is red and bumpy, but hey, lesson learned. Do not randomly switch skincare products every other day. Oh, and this stuff does not moisturize at all, and is actually drying my skin out. (apparently its supposed to calm down the skin with aloe and cucumber stuff, but it doesnt)

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design in Couture Intense
rated 5 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/1/2009 10:57:00 PM

This is the only eyeshadow that i love in the GWP palette that this came in. It is very intense, and pigmented, and goes on super smooth. I love using this to fill in my brows, for my crease, and as a liner. =D

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design Makeover
rated 2 of 5

I got this in a GWP Palette. I like the color in the pan, but its just not pigmented enough to show up on my eyelids as the same color. =(

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Colour Focus Filigree
rated 3 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/1/2009 10:56:00 PM

I got this in a GWP palette, and i do like it. It is very shimmery though, so i dont use it as a highlighter very often, but more as a lid color. I wont buy this again, because there are other alternatives to this that i am able to get for a lot cheaper than this shadow on its own at retail price.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design - Camisole
rated 2 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/1/2009 10:53:00 PM

I got this in a palette as a GWP. I dont like this shadow at all. I was so exited when i got this, because its such a pretty color in the pan, but it sucks on my eyelids. It is not pigmented enough to show up as a purple. I tried so much to get it to show up. A primer, base, my MAC fix+... >< It just wont show up.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Opal Mystere
rated 3 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/1/2009 10:52:00 PM

This eyeshadow, i will use, if its the last thing i have. It is in a GWP Palette that Lancome currently is giving away at Sears, and well.. Its too.. glittery. Its a matte, with glitters that are just too big, and get everywhere. It falls out, and then stays where it is not supposed to stay. The color itself is not pigmented, and it is hard to use.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design - The New Black
rated 3 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/1/2009 10:50:00 PM

This product, i wouldnt go crazy over. It looks really black in the pan, but its not pigmented enough for that. I use this as a liner to go over my pencil/gel liner set it, and so it adds this glittery touch to it. (got as a GWP)

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Drape (sheen)
rated 3 of 5
kassandraamelaniiee 9/1/2009 10:46:00 PM

I like this as a sheer all over color. it looks like a white in the pan, but it is very very sheer. It does have some shimmer/sheen to it, so it looks very nice. I will not buy this again though, because there are other alternatives. (i got this as a GWP)
