I LOVE this concealer. This is a definite must have. beats out ANY drug store concealer i've ever tried (including maybelline, NYC, revlon, etc.) A small tube lasted me more than 2 years, so I guess despite it being quite expensive, it's actually worth it. Pros - really really really good coverage for dark circles and blemishes - easy to apply with brush or fingers - long lasting - waterproof Cons - quite expensive for a small amount

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I bought a small trial size bottle for about $4 to try out this cleanser. Pros - really gentle - no scent - didn't cause me to break out Cons - doesn't quite remove make up - not expensive - CHEMICALS! I tried it for three days and initially quite liked it. I used it with my clarisonic mia at night after removing all my make up with make up remover and it felt quite nice. It didn't cause me to break out, it didn't strip away all the oil from my face. Overall it is quite a gentle cleanser. However, after some research, I realized aside from the water, all of the 7 other ingredients are quite harmful. Some of the ingredients apparently are carcinogenic! I'm having second thoughts on this cleanser, and I have not quite decided whether I would purchase a full sized version. Such a shame, because before realizing what kind of harmful chemicals there are in it, I was quite liking it.

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

Pros - does a really good job of removing eye make up and foundation - smell is decent - removes dirt and oil Cons - drying - have to make sure to really wash it off otherwise the residue on face feels uncomfortable overall, I think it's an okay cleanser. I feel like it's a little too strong though. It removes make up no problem, but also seems to remove ALL the oil i have on my face to the point that it's drying. A little too strong of a cleanser for me. I stopped using it after 2 months. I use the remainder to clean my brushes now and it does a superb job of making my smashbox brush hairs white again as if they're new. I personally wouldn't recommend it. If it does such a good job cleaning my brushes, perhaps it's a little too strong for a facial cleanser.

Cleansers -The Body Shop - Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash

I really like this cleanser. It's gentle enough, but does a pretty good job removing all my make up. Smells nice. I've used this cleanser religiously for 2 years and I really like it. I recommend stocking up when the Body Shop has the huge crazy seasonal sales. EDIT: So apparently... after some research on the internet, it has a bucket load of chemicals in it including all sorts of parabens that are apparently really bad. So i'm changing it from a rating of 5 to a 3..

Cleansers -Shiseido - White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam

i HATED this cleanser. for some reason it smells nice in the package but quite horrible when I actually used it on my face. Furthermore, it gives that "squeaky clean" texture on your face that I really don't like and it feels extremely drying. Also my face itched really bad after using the brightening products. I know it's not supposed to help with acne, but it made my acne a lot worse for me and it was just not worth it. It was expensive and ineffective for me. DON'T BUY IT.

Cleansers -L'Oreal - Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser

I bought the orange one for acne prone skin. It. Was. HORRIBLE. It completely dried out my skin and made my skin broke out the next day. At first i thought it just might be dirt build up from my sunscreen and oil and sweat from the hot weather and being out all day, so I kept using this. I used it for 4 days and i couldn't take it anymore. In the 4 days of using this, i got at least 6 extra pimples from this and a lot of whiteheads too. THIS IS HORRIBLE. do NOT buy it. Sort of ironic that it say it's for acne prone skin.... horrible. there were several comments that mentioned that it feels like cheap laundry detergent, and i couldn't agree more. definitely not worth the 13 dollars i paid. Maybe if it was 3 dollars.. i wouldn't have complained as much... The ONLY upside to this is the scrublet which i really like. It feels gentle on the face. I use it with my other cleanser now and it works fine. Got to give Loreal props for the packaging too. It's quite creative and convenient. if only they'd replace the content in the bottle..
