Blush -Unlisted Brand - Contrived Pressed Blush in Foreplay by Rock and Republic Cosmetics

A perfect dusty peach color, works great on my NW15 skin. It's the closest thing I have to a "nude blush." Pigmentation is excellent, texture is smooth, and the amount of product is huge (double the size of NARS blushers!).

Blush -Rock & Republic - Contrived Blush - Spank [DISCONTINUED]
kam6761 4/23/2010 8:49:00 AM
This blush is BEAUTIFUL on PPP! I snagged this for half off through the Editor's Closet sale, and I find myself reaching for it nearly every day as of late. It's a beautiful pale pink color, and it's almost impossible to go overboard when applying this (even on my NW15 skin!). The texture is smooth, the color is amazing, and the price was fantastic (on sale for $20, and it contains double the amount of a NARS blush!). They're on sale now at Nordstrom Rack for $16, so I picked up 3 more shades! These blushes are the only things that top NARS, IMO.

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam V

Love this product. It is a sheer wash of shimmery color, the perfect go to lippie when you're just not sure what to pair a look with. I'm NW15, but I think this is such a pretty natural color that skintone is really irrelevant for this shade. I also love the philanthropy before the Viva Glam series-- it's great to look good while doing good!

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph
kam6761 4/22/2010 1:05:00 PM
Have never been a fan of MAC's Myth, but when these ELF lippies went on sale for 50% off I figured I could give the "concealer look" a try. I don't like Natural Nymph as a l/s for the same reasons I don't like Myth, it makes you look dead and the formula tends to not cover evenly and settles into fine lines (I actually really like the formula, but I think the nude color makes it easy to spot any lip issues!). However, I have absolutely fallen in love with this when used in conjunction with gloss. It's still a nude lip, but with gloss I get a tiny hint of color and shine. I would definitely repurchase this.

Perfect MLBB shade. I've been searching for a color like this for a LONG time, and am SO excited I've finally found it-- the perfect pinky nude!

Eye Primer -Fyrinnae - Pixie Epoxy
kam6761 4/12/2010 3:08:00 AM
WOW. Where do I even begin-- this stuff is AMAZING. It totally maximizes the vibrancy of my loose pigments, not to mention prevents fallout (even with my UD shadows that are notorious for leaving glitter all over your face!). I use this over my UDPP, and I seriously can't believe what a difference it makes. This even makes my ELF mineral e/s (which I hated when I first got, b/c NOTHING could get them to look vibrant and long lasting) last all day and apply as its true color, rather than just a muted wash of shimmery color. One of my favorite beauty products, hands down.

Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - About Face - Gothic Glamour
kam6761 4/12/2010 2:53:00 AM
Bought this after constantly hearing raves on the boards, and I'm SO glad I did. I'm glad I got these for super cheap ($2.50 for full size!), but am sad that they're on sale because the owner is closing up shop. All of the pigments I've tried from About Face have been excellent, and this is no exception. It's a beautiful darkened silvery taupe color, and the shimmer is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this!

Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - About Face Go Glam or Go Home in Pristine Nature

Love love LOVE this color! The website calls it a light coral, but in my opinion it's more of just a light pink with MAYBE a tiny touch of coral. I use this on the inner corner or as a wash on the lid. I happen to love the shimmer, but if you're not a shimmer gal you may want to skip this one. I ordered a few of these pigments b/c of the excellent price ($2.50 for a full size? How can you go wrong?!), and I loved all of them so much I just placed another order for 10 more colors!

Blush -E.L.F. - Mineral Blush - Joy
kam6761 4/2/2010 1:54:00 PM
As ELF stuff can be a bit hit or miss, I wasn't holding my breath on this one. I was hesitant because of the incredibly misleading swatch on the website (this is definitely not even close to lilac! It is a beautiful mauvey pink shade), but checked reviews and saw the high rating. At the time there was a 50% off minerals sale, so I decided to give it a try. SO glad I did. The color works great on my NW15 skin, it goes on smooth, and lasts all day! Would definitely repurchase this.

Lip Gloss -NYX - Mega shine- Copper Penny
kam6761 3/31/2010 10:45:00 PM
Love love LOVE these glosses. Every one of 'em! The texture isn't sticky, it's incredibly pigmented and slides on with no problem. I would prefer a brush applicator over a doe foot for more precision, but MAC doesn't even do this for most of their l/g. The name is a bit misleading (it's a reddish hue, not orange like how I would imagine copper!), but it's absolutely stunning on my NW15 and is definitely one of those shades I wouldn't have picked out on my own (I bought it b/c of the great reviews on here, and am so glad I did!).

These are an absolute steal! ELF is constantly having sales, so I've never paid more than 1/2 price for anything of theirs, and at $2.50 a pop, these things are awesome (even at $5 they'd be really good!). I currently own Rosy Raisin and Rosy Tan, and Rosy Raisin is the perfect shade for my NW15 PPP skin, a sort of MLBB shade. I had only ordered a couple because I wanted to make sure I like the formula, and I certainly do. I find the formula pigmented and rich, and the texture is smooth. I ordered 5 more today, and am super excited to have more shades to play with!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Maui Wowie
kam6761 3/25/2010 10:34:00 PM
My goodness do I LOVE the color of this shadow. Like many other reviewers, I can't stand the huge chunks of glitter, but I deal with it because this color is absolutely gorgeous and I have yet to find a dupe of this (my dream would be to find this color w/o the glitter). It may not look that special in the pan, but it looks fabulous once on (for reference, I'm NW15, brown hair and eyes, but I think this color would look gorgeous on practically everyone!).

Polishes -Essie - Need A Vacation
kam6761 3/25/2010 8:42:00 PM
As other products have indicated, you need 2-3 coats to get good color payoff with this one. I personally opt for 3 and then the color looks just like the bottle, which is a gorgeous pale bubblegum pink. Takes several days to chip at all, and even then it's quite minimal. I would definitely repurchase.

Blush -NYX - Pinky
kam6761 3/25/2010 8:38:00 PM
I NEVER would have considered buying a bright pink blush, but the reviews convinced me to try it, and I'm SO glad I did! Now that summertime is coming, I'm excited to pair this blush with a bright lip and minimal eye makeup. I am NW15, and it looks great on me, so PPP don't be afraid!

Tinted Moisturizer -Hard Candy - Sheer Envy Tinted Moisturizer spf15
kam6761 3/25/2010 8:34:00 PM
I bought this while looking for something to use instead of my Laura Mercier, which just seems to expensive to justify. I started using this last week, and although I'm still not a huge fan, it's growing on me. My LM TM gives my face a gorgeous looking texture, me "but better," whereas this seems to apply like a light foundation and the finish is not as flattering. I don't agree with the reviews about the strong sunscreen smell, but it's possible they changed their formula? I definitely don't hate this at all, but it's just not something I get excited about using. I will probably not repurchase, but if I'm broke when I finish both this and my LM TM, I may have no other choice! I think if I hadn't had the LM first, I would be perfectly satisfied with this.
