This is a really good foundation. The consistency is a bit thick on its own. So I only use half a pump for the whole face and apply it with a wet foundation brush. It wears well and doesnt oxidize.

Liquid -Giorgio Armani - Luminous Silk Foundation

I really like this foundation. I love the way it makes my combi skin look. Flawless and dewy without being oily. But I dont think it wears very well. After about 5 hours I find it does streak a bit and sinks into my pores and fine lines. But after blotting, it lasts me throughout the day. Maybe I'm still not getting the application right after these months. I'm willing to put up with the hassle cos it really glides on when i apply it and is a breeze to blend. Plus my skin never looked this good! I only need one pump for my whole face. I use this in #4. UPDATE 17/3/06: I realized the streaking came from setting it with the wrong loose powder. Must be the chemistry.I dont have the streaking/sinking into pores problem anymore now that i'm using it with the micrfil loose powder in #1! Together, they give me a flawless, luminous face.

Foundations -IPSA - Protect Liquid Foundation

I love this foundation! I use this in 101 and it's quite a good match for my skintone. It is very light in texture so it doesnt feel like i'm wearing a foundation. But due to the thin texture, i dont really trust the potency of the sunscreen in it and usually layer on my own underneath it. It also wears very well and does not really oxidize on my combi skin in this hot and humid weather.

I bought this due to some good comments on the board. It was a disappointment. Granted it didnt give me any milia seeds and absorbs relatively well... but it didnt do anything at all for my fine lines either. I dont quite like the fragrance in it either.

I liked it for the natural look it gave my lashes. It's also cheap (got it for like SGD18 at the airport). However, it smudges, so I had to toss it out after 3 uses.

This is a wonderful brush! It's dense, fluffy and soft. I use it to put on my powder foundation. Great stuff. Can't believe I waited so long to try this.

Powder -Chanel - Double Perfection Compact

This is one of the best foundations I've tried! None of the Shiseido, Stila, BB, LM, Prescriptives, Clinique, MAC, etc ones could compare to this! This is perfect for my combination skin in the humid Singapore weather. It can look a bit powdery when I first buff it on with my BB Kabuki brush, but it sets beautifully into a natural finish pretty soon. It's also VERY long lasting and looks great even after I've had it on for more than 12 hours. I didn't even have to blot. Think I might have found a HG! The lightest colour 10 Lumiere is a good match for my FFF skin, but PPPs might have trouble finding a good match.

This is a great foundation, esp for dry skin. I have to blot twice a day when I use this(usually I only have to blot once, or not at all if I use my Chanel double perfection compact), but it's not the fault of the foundation, rather it's the facts that I do not have dry skin(I have combination skin) and that the weather here is Singapore is pretty humid.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

This is a great mascara. It doesn't smudge and comes off easily enough with an eye make up remover. It is quite natural and I use it as my everyday mascara. The huge brush takes some getting used to, but I haven't had any problems with it.

Nice neutral pink that goes perfect with most makeup combinations. Very versatile. Some might find the colour a tad too boring though.

Love this l/g! It is a pink/mauve with shimmer on my pigmented lips. I love it coz it goes with everything so I don't have to think about what l/g to wear when I'm in a hurry.

I LOVE this shade!! At first I thought it looked a bit dark in the tube, but it goes on a beautiful plummy shade. This is going to be one of my favourite lipglosses.

It looks a very bright scary pink in the tube. It is too bright for my complexion so I use it as a stain instead. When I do that, the colour looks gorgeous and is one of my favourite pink lipglosses.

I love the colour coz it brightens up my whole face. But I really hate the sticky and dry consistency. Globs of dried up colour accumulate on my inner lips after just 2 hours of wear. Gross. It also dries out my lips, despite me putting lip balm on it before. Will not repurchase.

I bought this brush based on the good reviwes it got here. I must say that I'm really glad I did! The bristles are so soft that I was skeptical at first if the brush would do its job. But it does, and wonderfully too! My face feels nice and soft and the condition of my skin has definitely improved. A great buy!
