On my "older" skin this product is the worst! It turns the age spots on my arms a very unnatural bright orange. It streaks. It smells awful, to the extent that even my husband commented on it. I managed to scrub some of it off with a strong exfoliator and won't go near it again. Don't waste your money on this! There has got to be better out there.

I should know better by now than believing anything can prod my sparse brows to grow. I found this product at Ulta a couple of months ago at half price (still expensive) and have been appling it twice a day, every day. Maybe it made my existing brow hairs a little darker, but the "tails" of my brows are as non-existent as ever and have to be pencilled in. This product just didn't work for me!

Bronzers -Philosophy - The Big Skinny

Just bought this today after the salesgirl at Ulta steered me away from the Tarte Glam Gams (which looked positively green on me when I used the tester!). So far so good. I love the creaminess of the Big Skinny, the very slight shimmer, the natural looking color, even the interesting fragrance which seems like something between coconut and coffee, in other words not the usual self-tanner stink.

Bought this product at Ulta this morning. The staying power is awesome! I've never had any brow product last this long on me, not even the Benefit brow pencil which is very good too. The LG Taupe color is perfect for me, totally natural looking. Not too dark and not too light either. A real winner, worth every expensive penny! On second thought, this did not work for the reason that the color turned reddish on my brows after a few hours' wear. I've returned it.

I have several brow pencils, the Anastasia Brow Wiz, the Origins Fill in the Blanks and some drugstore ones. I only bought this Benefit product yesterday in Light and already absolutely love it. It stays on the whole day, the color is great and very natural-looking and the waxy texture really keeps my unruly brows under control. The best thing about this pencil is that I now look like I have brows without any sparse areas. This product is definitely worth every penny! Nowe that I have found a pencil that really does everything I expected from it, I will keep buying it again and again. After wearing this pencil for several months now, it's still my absolute favorite. The color is great, the wakiness keeps my brow hairs in place, it's simply the best!

Mascara -Stila - Major Lash Mascara

I'm surprised about some of the less than stellar reviews on this mascara. I just went back to this product after returning the "They are real" Benefit mascara which didn't do a thing for me. The Stila Major Lash does everything the Benefit mascara did not. Gives my lashes volume, length (especially length), curl, tenacity. Among the 5 mascaras in my make-up drawer, this is my absolute favorite.

I'm truly surprised at the bad reviews about this product! I only bought the Navy color yesterday, but I've been wearing it all day today (temp here in Tucson was 106). Also wore it through an intensive dance class this morning and it has not budged at all. At first I thought it might be too pale a blue, but it's the best dark blue eye liner I have ever bought and as mentioned, it has not faded at all after wearing it for close to 12 hours! I would highly recommend it, and yes I'd buy it again!

After many months of using this expensive product on my brows every night, I have yet to see even the slightest little bit of change. My brows are as sparse (and non-existent at the outer edges) as ever. I regret this expensive purchase. I think I'll donate this somewhere, maybe someone else has better luck with the unused second tube I have sitting around.

Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

This lipstick and this color deserve every rave they get! I find it hard to find shades that look good with my very fair skin, but this one is great. I'm lucky to have fairly plump lips. Black Honey makes them look even plumper, and that's another positive. A great pick for somebody with "mature" lips and skin! It looks so natural and seems to go with everything.

After reading the good reviews about this product, I went and bought it at Ulta today in "Tone". I love it, everything about it is just right for my mature skin. The very subtle glow, the creamy texture, the color is just right on my fair skin and I like the fact that it's in a tube. A winner all around! I had sampled Tarte Agent 8 on the left side of my face, then the Stila "Tone" on the right and that looked and felt the best.

I just bought this product at Walgreen's and in the store lighting the color (Soft Beige) looked great. However, at home it looks yellowish on my very pink complexion and it's also very shiny, not too great on my mature skin. But I like the way it feels, the way it covers, the fact that it's SPF 20 and has some highly recommended ingredients in it. I'm "on the fence" about it, but may give it a couple of days before returning it. Maybe it will "settle down".

I came across this product at Walgreen's yesterday. It was on sale for $10 and I liked the idea of Helioplex which my derm recommended highly. I've applied the product both ways, with my fingers and using the sponge that comes with it. I like its lightness, the fact that it covers quite well without feeling thick, it has only the slightest bit of shimmer to it which is great for my "mature" skin and best of all, the 30 (Buff) matches my skin tone exactly which is a very rare thing! Plus the price is incredible. I have a number of far more expensive foundations, but this is my new favorite. Yes, I'd buy it again, absolutely.

Mascara -Pixi - LASH BOOSTER MASCARA

Really wanted to have a mascara with some blue in it. It does that, but I was not prepared to have my already short lashes look even shorter with this mascara. Not thicker, not longer, just shorter. How is that even possible? And for the price! Very hard to remove too. No, this was a total waste of money!

The first Benefit eye shadow I ever bought, and it's a winner! I'd been wanting a denim bluish gray and on my fair skin, this is what Strut is. It's truly creaseless and seems to stay on for many hours, even when applied lightly. No need for a primer. Yes, it has some shimmer to it, which is supposed to be a "no-no" for women my age, but I love it. It actually brings out my brown eyes really well. Like I said, a true winner, head and shoulders above all the other expensive eye shadows in my drawer!

Eye Shadow -Clinique - Stay matte Dark Denim

I really like this eye shadow. It's sophisticated rather than screaming "blue". The only other blue I really like is Lancome's "Ciel du Soir". Everything else I've ever tried has far too much glitter, not great for lined lids. The reason I took off one lippie is that it seems to wear off rather quickly, better to use a primer.
