Good color, but crease crease crease.

Simply, I hate this makeup. Though I have dry, over-40 skin this feels like sludge on my face, and I have to clean the phone after I'm done talking. The colors aren't half-bad, on the postitive side. The bottle design with the swirled contents seems almost a method of tricking the consumer into thinking she's buying more than she actually gets.

Terrible color selection, chalky texture. I can safely say that this is way overpriced and all things considered, it sucks.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

True Match offers the best L'Oreal shade I've yet found for my light, very yellow-toned Asian coloring. It has surprisingly decent ability to last without becoming blotchy. I only wish it were a little thicker, and that it came in a more attractive bottle including a pump dispenser.
Pleasantly surprised by this one. Not the best coverage, but it feels wonderfully cool when applied, and the sparkles are very youth-enhancing. Color is quite good as well.
This was bought on a whim because I noticed my skin looked too ruddy under the harsh Target lighting. Vanilla seemed like a decent choice, but in normal lighting it is way too pale for my light Asian skin. The coverage is blotchy, and made my dry areas look even worse.
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Excellence Creme Browns Extreme

It looks like I've found my HG haircolor. The rich, non-drippy formula smells pleasant and does not irritate my notoriously sentitive scalp. And it even lightens my black hair to a lovely shade of light brown! (I used the Light Beige Brown.) Love, love love it!
After breaking my heart by discontinuing my beloved original Age Rewind foundation, Maybelline has tried to kiss and er, made-up with this new offering. Fit Me 220 is close to perfect for my light golden Asian complexion, and it goes on smoothly for a natural, light-coverage effect. Not too greasy for my dry, sensitive skin, and it gets through the day with some resiliency. While it would be nice if it had a pump, the bottle is a thing of beauty in itself. A decent foundation, but there must be better.
The cons: limited color selection ( I have light yellow-toned skin), consistency like greasy powder. The pros: 0.
Since the demise of Maybelline's Age Rewind cream foundation, this is my new favorite. I know no makeup/skincare will lift anything, but based on the ease of delivery, smooth coverage, lack of fragrance and pump container, this rises above all my other bottles of foundation in my cabinet. It would have gotten 5 lippies if more shades of color were available.
Somehow it looks purplish on me, and I was hoping for an iridescent navy. oh well, it's still nice and dark (even though my hubby and a few male friends prefer lighter colors).
Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - Naturtint Permanent Hair Colorant

It did leave my hair soft and shiny, but the color I used (Golden Chestnut) barely lightened my black roots even though the color chart predicted a medium brown. Unfortunately it would seem that it's the nasty, toxic chemicals that will lift black hair to brown. I'll take my chances with a high-lift product...
Huge assortment of colors, and less drying than most drugstore brands.
Liquid -Maybelline - SuperStay Makeup - New Version

While at first skeptical of a "long-wearing" foundation--envisioning scrubbing it off with a loofah--I took the plunge and tried the most accurate shade for my Asian skin. I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage and lasting finish of this formulation. Of course, it would be better in a pump bottle, and who knows what might be necessary to wash it off tonight, but so far, on a warm summer day in SoCal, so good. It would also rate much higher is more shades were offered, so I find it rather decent, nothing more.

It's certainly gentle, but it doesn't clean well enough.
