THis is my go-to shadow, when I want to lighten up my eyes. Very subtle, somewhat pinkish, but I love it! I have auburn hair, fair skin and hazel eyes...it goes great!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Volume Shocking Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

Awful! I love most of L'oreal's mascaras....usually a great product for the price. But this just made my lashes a mess. I did try to get the clumps out w/ a separate lash comb, but then what's the point? I did not spend $11 on a 'drugstore' mascara to then have to undo the mess that it makes! I'll stick w/ lash out or voluminous. The only reason this got 2 lippies is b/c the staying power is great, just like the other L'oreal mascaras...no smudges.

Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Diamond Lip Treatment in Champagne Toast

I really like this product, I think they are comparable to my more expensive glosses. But this color doesn't really do much for me. It's definately too 'nude' for my lips. I really love the brush applicator, and I'll be getting some other colors for sure! The staying power is average for gloss.

Really really pretty! This is a perfect sheer pink for french manicures this summer, and it has a tiny bit of sparkle....lovely!

Fragrances -Bobbi Brown - Beach

I am really loving this scent right now! I tried a sample back in the winter, and maybe it's just not the same during the cold months, but I didn't like it as much. Now that the warmer weather is here, this is just the ticket! It does smell like coppertone, but in a good perfumey way...it doesn't smell like you just slathered suntan lotion on, LOL! I'm going on a carribean vacation soon, and can't wait to wear this in the hotter weather. I took one point off for staying power :-( wish it stayed longer.

Ugh......old lady. If I smelled this on someone, I would think they were stashing moth balls on them. I gave it a chance, but it reminds me of a cob-webby old house, LOL!

Moisturizers -Olay - Complete UV Protection Moisture Lotion Combinaton/Oily Skin SPF15

I can't believe I'm loving this soooooo much! I have never liked Olay products, and I admit that I'm kind of a skin-care snob...I usually would never use a moisturizer from a drugstore. BUT...after using quite a few pricey moisturizers with no luck, I caved to all the raves from my friends about this moisturizer. It is truly nice, light, doesn't break me out, and has the added benefit of SPF. I've been alternating between this for 'oily/combo' and the Olay Age Defying Protective Renewal Lotion, with beta hydoxy. I use some retin-A a few nights a week, and I've had almost no breakouts. I took off 1 lippie for fragrance, ick, but it's gone quickly.

Fragrances -Calvin Klein - Euphoria

I like this perfume....it's very distinct. But I do feel like Calvin Klein scents are very similar. This scent is deep and musky, but very pretty. My husband loves it on me, and he's pretty picky. I do wish the staying power was better. Usually CK scents stay much longer. And the bottle is very akward to spray.

NOOOOOOOO..... this did start out as lemon pledge, and ended up like a yucky version of 'pink sugar'. I can't believe Fresh charges so much for their fragrances!

I tried this, and I thought I would love it. But even though the first sample spray was so fresh and nice....someone described it as 'sparkling', which seems right. But after a few sprays it was totally overwhelming! It actually hit my gag reflex after a while.....so sad, wanted to like this. I love jasmine, but have yet to find it in a perfume that's not cloying.

I was surprised that this got such great reviews. I love the Bare Escentuals glimmers....but this was just boring. I love a neutral eye, but this didn't even show up on me. But 'bare skin' is my fav!

I purchased this only b/c I had a VS gift card, and wasn't in need of any 'underthings'. I like the garden scents OK but I can't imagine wearing them all the time. I smelled this one, and LOVED it! I didn't even try the other angel scents. It's very soft, almost powdery, I can't imagine this could ever be overpowering. I was in search of an everyday scent, and this is definately it, beautiful! EDIT 1/19/06- I am sooooo sad...my hubby hates this! I'm sticking by my review, but he actually said 'it smells cheap' :-(

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer- Bare Skin

My new favorite eye shadow....natural yet shimmery. Not a 'disco' shimmer, but just really subtle and pretty. This color is very neutral on me, so I think you could do it for day wear, but also for night. I love the 'beach' collection. Very high quality shadow, but packaging stinks...too easy to spill everywhere.

I got some sample shadows in the 'beach' collection, and this was one of them. I love the other 3, but this one was just too coppery for me, bordering on orangey. Other than that, these shadows are great. I've heard that the new ones have the sifter top, which would be a must before I buy full size.
