Although my HG bronzer is Nars Laguna, this is quite nice and does get used often. I think I overpaid for it when I was in Paris, but I heard good things about it and don't think I can purchase this in the US. For anyone that can get this at a decent price, I think it's an excellent buy. It smells delicious, like chocolate with a bit of orange scent. I have shade 51 which is good for my light to medium toned skin and should work well for me except for when I'm super tan. I would say the bronzer is mostly matte with very spare shimmers. It works well for contouring.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells

I was hesitant to buy this because it seemed overly shimmery. I'm glad I gave it a shot, because I love it. It's a very flattering set of neutral shades that I think are especially perfect for the summer. Gives a nice brightening effect without looking over done. I often use a matte highlight shade as it can be a bit much to use all three shimmery shades together. Highly recommend.
This foundation is a staple for me. The most important factor in a foundation for me is something that is long wearing and will still look fresh on my face at the end of the day. This foundation does just that and I love it. I apply it at 8 in the morning and it's still on my face at 8 at night. The finish is also suprisingly natural. The only negatives I can think of as other have mentioned is the open top glass jar and unpleasant scent, but I can look past that because the performance of this foundation is outstanding.
I bought this for a buck a few weeks ago when Rite Aid was having a huge sale on Jane products and I am loving this. It is the perfect warm matte tan to use in my crease for a natural look. I love pairing this with Benefit's cream shadow in RSVP - it is becoming my go-to work look. This shade reminds me of UD's naked in the naked palette but slightly darker. The quality is just as good as UD, although I wouldn't say that about all of Jane shadows. If you can find this anywhere I highly recommend picking it up.
Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Natural Butter Lip Shine

I'm surprised at the bad reviews. I picked this up at the Dollar Tree for a buck on a whim, and I'm enjoying it. The color I have is nosegay, which is a vibrant medium pink that works well with my warm complexion and I'm certain it will look even better with a tan this summer. This is one of the most moisturizing glosses I've ever used. It feels good on the lips, has a nice fruity scent, and lasts on my lips for a good amount of time. My only dislike is the brush tip applicater, I hate those. You can't beat this for a dollar.
I use this to buff in all my face makeup once it's completed. The denseness of the hairs is amazing so it is perfect for this use. It really provides a smooth finish and makes my makeup look more natural. I can't imagine using it for bronzer application, as I prefer to use a large fluffy brush for that. As all the other reviews have stated, it's excellent quality and it blows my mind that it's only $10. I also like how the hairs are synthetic as I am looking to find some more high quality synthetic brushes.
Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in R.S.V.P.

This shadow is a nice basic eye brightening pinky champagne shade. I would call this a no brainer as it is very easy to just throw on with your finger to wear by itself but can also work with an array of other shades for a more complex look. I can't vouch for the staying power by itself, but with UDPP it lasts perfectly all day. A little goes a long way and I could see this pot lasting forever.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Knock on Wood

If most Wet N Wild shadows turn you off because of the shimmer factor, this palette may be for you. All of the shades show up relatively matte with some dimension on my eye which is a nice change from all the shimmer. I find the burgandy lid shade to be a bit too dark as a lid color, so I like to use the light pink browbone color as my lid shade with a mix of the beautiful chocolate brown and burgandy in the crease. It makes for an interesting neutral eye without being so run of the mill. Lasts all day with UDPP.
Treatments (Eye) -Shiseido - Benefiance Concentrated Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream
iuhooch625 3/20/2011 12:02:00 AM
I'm turning 30 this year and I've been a bit paranoid about any signs of aging. The area around my eyes seemed a bit drier and I noticed some fine lines. I bought this and since I've been using it I've noticed a significant reduction in the appearance of my fine lines. I'm very impressed with the results and I think it was worth the $52 I spent on it. The packaging has a nice weight to it and it also comes with a small spatula so you don't have to dip your fingers into the jar. I only use it at night because it is a super heavy cream that takes forever to completely absorb. I use something lighter in the mornings.
Treatments (Eye) -100 Percent Pure - Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream
iuhooch625 3/19/2011 11:38:00 PM
As far as performance goes, I don't think this cream did a whole lot of good, but it also didn't cause any bad reactions. I didn't notice any real anti-puffing results. I've been using it as a morning eye cream because it's pretty lightweight and absorbs well into my skin. It also doesn't seem to mess up any makeup application. However, the main reason I wouldn't repurchase is that the packaging is awful. The pump dispenser always pushes out wayyyyy too much product. There simply isn't any way to get it to dispense less, and it literally gives you double the amount that you really need for both eyes.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve
iuhooch625 3/11/2011 9:17:00 PM
Overall, I'm just "meh" about this balm. Mainly because I compare it to C.O. Bigelow's Rose Salve, which I find to be much more moisturizing, longer lasting, prettier on the lips, and better scented. I normally love rose scents, but I found this balm to have a strong cinnamon smell to it, which is about as best as I can describe it. I wouldn't repurchase this again since I've found better.
If you are looking for a totally wearable peach/orange based lipstick, this is it. I don't really get the "berry" part of the name of this lippie as it doesn't really scream berry to me, but it is an excellent orangey coral. It looks great on my paler winter skin and I think it will even look better once spring and summer come around. As usualy, I love the quality of Revlon's lipsticks and this one is no exception. It's smooth, moisturizing and this particular shade has exceptional lasting power.
So far I'm happy with this cleanser. I only use it in the morning so I can't attest to it's makeup removing ability, but I do feel like it does a good job balancing my combo/oily skin without making it feel dry or breaking me out. The packaging is quite small but you really only need a little of the product to wash your face. It's a gel consistency, and I rub it between my hands with a bit of water and it develops into a nice foam. My only complaint is that it doesn't smell very good - it has a high alcohol scent to it. Lavera does not do animal testing and uses natural ingredients. This particular product is also vegan.
I really like this face cream. I have combo/oily skin and it doesn't make my face feel oily. It does a great job at giving the right amount of moisture for me, making my skin soft, and evening out my skin tone. It has a heavenly scent - you can definitely smell the pumpkin in it. The consistency is quite runny, and I made the mistake of opening the container for the first time while not holding it straight - so a lot ended up spilling out. I like that this company uses natural ingredients and does not do animal testing. I will repurchase.
Cleansers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser
iuhooch625 2/26/2011 12:07:00 AM
I really wanted to like this. It sounded like a good face wash for these colder winter months when my skin is more dry and sensitive. Unfortunately, it broke me out in tiny red bumps and even gave me some dry patches, which I never get. Once I stopped using this, my skin cleared up. I've used other Aveeno washes and haven't had a problem, so it could be that my skin doesn't agree with the feverfew ingredient in this.
