This is one of my 24 NYX Round Lipsticks that I purchased last February over Cherry Culture. I purchased it for $1.99 + shipping with 20% discount. This lipstick is copper colored, and it is not blue-based which is a good thing. It is slightly sheer with glitters, making it hard for me to mix and match, in my own opinion. And not to mention its finish is frost. I love copper and coral tones more than pinks because with corals and oranges, I can never go wrong. Even though the color is not that good for me, for coral and copper tones, it's still wearable on me, unlike for pinks, once it's not good and not wearable, it's not wearable. This color is ok for me but not my favorite among the bunch. Not a big fan of NYX Round Lipsticks' formula either so I'm not going to repurchase this. NYX Round Lipsticks are creamy-silky but not my kind of creamy lipstick. It's staying power is one of its downside too. It stays put on your lips for about half an hour, an hour at most, before it melts to your lips.

I must say, I'm in love with this eye cream from Benefit! Opposite from most of the bad reviews on the internet, I really find it good on me. Actually, it works for my skin. I didn't get any bad reactions when I first used it, and I'm using it for a month now. It is very creamy when applied to the eye area, not to mention its very good vanilla-like smell. I love its texture, and it prevents my skin from tightening and getting dry. It takes longer time also to finish because I've been using it for a month now and I've emptied not even a half by now. Meaning, a jar can be consumed for 2-3 months span. Wow! That's quite a long time! The only downside of this product is that it claims that it brightens dark eye circles, but then, actually it doesn, but very, very less results. But, when I use Laneige's Eye Designer Cream after this, the results are awesome! It brightens my eye area and it makes my eye area more refreshed and looking younger. I would definitely repurchase this product again from Benefit!

Tinted Moisturizer -Shiseido - Tinted Moisture Protection SPF 20

I love this Tinted Moisturizer from Shiseido! In fact, I love this more than my Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer! I got this as a freebie from one of my swaps from a fellow MUAer. I got a sampler of it and I'm going to purchase this for sure! From all of the TM that I've tried using before, this one is the non-stickiest. Most of the TMs that I've ever tried before are sticky and oily, probably because of the mixture of foundation and moisturizer. Anyway, this one is non-sticky, non-greasy and non-oily. Also, its color fits me well, unlike the others that I've tried that are too yellow or too peachy for my skin color. This one is just perfect for my NC30 skin tone. Like what I mentioned, I'm going to repurchase a full-size of this one for my "lazy days" or "I'm-in-a-rush-no-time-for-everyday-make-up-routine days."

I got this as a freebie from one of my swaps from a fellow MUAer. I'm not sure if it's available here in Hong Kong too. Anyway, this wash is the most disappointing face wash I've ever used. First, when you put it into your hands, it's not soapy. I love soapy face washes, so that means, I have to put more than the amount I use to for this facial wash. Second, I don't know if it's a good thing or not, but this facial wash has this minty reaction to the face once applied. In some points, for me it was good because my face feels refreshed. But in some ways, it doesn't work for me because of the smell and on some areas of my face, it stings. Third, as mentioned, it is not available here in our country, making it hard to find if this was a HG product for me. Good thing it was not! In fact, I hate it!

Primer/ Corrector -Philosophy - the supernatural poreless flawless spf 15

Okay. I just heard the brand Philosophy over the internet. It's kinda "Popular" when it comes to skin care. We don't have the brand "Philosophy" here in Hong Kong. I checked everywhere, but unfortunately, they don't have any beauty bars available here. I also tried e-mailing their staff online, but like what I said, they don't have it here in Hong Kong. As an alternative, I can purchase their products online, but the hell with the shipping fee! It's way too expensive! And so I let my lust slip away. I wanted to purchase supposedly Philosophy's Tinted Moisturizer named Supernatural Superbeautiful" but then, when I found out those facts, I tried forgetting about my lust about it. Until someone in MakeUpAlley offered an exchange for it. And so I said yes to it. I swapped my Bourjois Powder Blush (which I don't really use anymore) for a Philosophy Supernatural Tinted Moisturizer in exchange. The swap tooked I think 2 weeks? 3 weeks? before it was all done. It was a successful swap. She loved my powder blush and I love hers as well! Please don't tell me this is my Holy Grail Tinted Moisturizer!!! The fact that it's not available here in Hong Kong makes me wanna say... "OUCH!" That means, I have to purchase it online because we don't have it here locally! But one thing is for sure... I love this more than my Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer. It's more like I'm wearing nothing at all, non sticky, plus, my skin can breathe over this. My bf even said that my skin looks good when I tried using this on our date. He said that I look better and he was suprised when I told him that I was only wearing a Tinted Moisturizer at that time. No Foundation at all. It's like a "lazy" counterpart of my Cle De Peau Creme Foundation, only that it's 3 steps in just one for a lazy day. I just use this for a lazy day because I am already used to my moisturize-primer-foundation steps for my everyday make-up. I'm not sure about its price, but I'm giving this a perfect score of 5!

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Ap-Au Lipsticks

This lipstick reminds me very much of my NYX Round Lipsticks.. Anyway, I got this lipstick for HKD 15 from Sasa Outlet in Yau Ma Tei. It is located in Nathan Road, just near one of the exits in Yau Ma Tei MTR Train Station. Its color is a very light frosted blue-based pink with glitters. The color is so-so ok to my skin color. I look "tanned" with this lipstick, compared to the other pink lipsticks that I've used in the past. It makes me look darker, which I actually love. In case you guys are still not aware, my skin color from the MAC skin color chart is NC30 - NC35, anything darker nor lighter than that, doesn't suit my skin color. Since it is a blue-based colored lipstick, it doesn't suit me perfectly. It is wearable, but not my kind of a "Holy Grail" lipstick color. About the lipstick's formula, like what I mentioned, its formula is similar to NYX's Round Lipsticks. Only that it's a little bit drier. I noticed that after a few reapplies, my lips are getting dry and chapped. I would definitely stick to NYX Round Lipsticks than this if I was given only two choices. The staying power of this lipstick is a bit longer than Marion's Fashion Design Lipsticks. Approximately 1 - 1/2 hour to be precise. I am not going to repurchase this lipstick anymore in any other color. Why? Well, I don't like the creaminess of this lipstick (just like NYX's). It's just like gliding oil into my lips...

I got this lipstick from Sasa Outlet in Yau Ma Tei for guess how much?! .... It's only for HKD 8! ( approximately USD 1 ). Compared to VOV Aqua Lip Lipstick, the quality of this lipstick is disappointing. First, it comes with a very cheap packaging. For its price, it is understandable that it only comes in a clear, cheap plastic packaging, but if you compare it with the VOV Aqua Lip Lipstick's packaging, you'll wonder what I'm talking about. Plus, I'm not really disappointed with the lipstick's formula, but I'm not really pleased at all as well. It is okay, but a bit drying. I don't use my MAC Prep + Prime Lips before putting this on, because for sure, this would just chap my lips up. Anyway, it's not that moisturizing, I noticed that after approximately 6-7 retouch, my lips are getting chapped or let's say, "dry." About the staying power of this lipstick, it stays around 30 - 45 mins ( less staying power than NYX's ) before it melts to your lips. The color of this lipstick is not that good on me, but wearable for my skin color. It is a hot pink or bright fuschia colored lipstick, which is blue-based. It is similar to NYX's Louisiana, only that it is blue-based. I am not going to repurchase this lipstick anymore because it didn't please me that well to be precise.

Okay, okay... I must admit it, this skin care product from Laneige really does the trick. I got a tester of this product as a freebie when my friend went here in Hong Kong for a vacation. One of her friends' mom asked us to purchase something for her and voila! We got a free gift! LOL! Anyway, this is like a pre-moisturizing cream for your eye circles. It claims: "Creates a water layer to protect the delicate skin around the eyes. Effectively reducest the appearance of fine lines; enriched with Vitamins and Minerals and can also speed up blood circulation to resolve dark eye circles." Usage: Apply to your skin after using essence. Follow with your cream. Gently pat around the eye area. Within the few days of using this eye cream, I noticed that my eyes doesn't look tired and it looks as if my eye area is glowing whenever I remove all my make-up. Having make-up and exposing my skin into our everyday surrounding makes my skin looking very stressed out. But I noticed that after using this, my eye area looks healthier than without it. Also, when I tried touching it, it is smoother than before. I love this product from Laneige. I'm going to buy a full-sized one of this and give it a one-month trial before deciding if this is a HG skin care product or not. Anyway, there's one thing that I don't like from this product. IT ADDS ANOTHER STEP TO MY EVERYDAY SKIN CARE ROUTINE. That's the only con for this product from Laneige. But besides that, I'm all pros.

I must say, this is one of my favorite among the NYX Round lipsticks that I purchased. Some of my all time favorites include Narcissus, Watermelon and Louisiana. This lipstick is pinkish coral toned and is not blue-based which makes it even more perfect. Its finish is matte to lustre making it one of my favorites. It matches my skin color perfectly. I love coral tones more than pinks because with corals and oranges, I can never go wrong. Even though the color is not that good for me, for coral tones, it's still wearable on me, unlike for pinks, once it's not good and not wearable, it's not wearable. I am in love with its shade but I am not a big fan of NYX Round Lipsticks. If I can find a MAC lipstick dupe for this shade, I would definitely stick with MAC lipsticks even though it's pricier than NYX's Rica's Rating: 4/5

I must say, this is one of my favorites among my NYX Round Lipsticks purchase. Some of my all time favorites include Narcissus, Fig, Watermelon and Louisiana. This lipstick is a bright red orange and is not blue-based which makes it even more perfect. It is perfect to use this summer because this summer, it's all about pinks, corals and oranges. Its finish is frosted, so to those who doesn't like frosted finishes, BEWARE! I love coral and oranges more than pinks because with corals and oranges, I can never go wrong. Even though the color is not that good for me, for coral tones, it's still wearable on me, unlike for pinks, once it's not good and not wearable, it's not wearable. I am in love with its shade but I am not a big fan of NYX Round Lipsticks. They are cheap, but then, the quality of the lipstick for me isn still a big question mark. If I can find a MAC lipstick dupe for this shade, I would definitely stick with MAC lipsticks even though it's pricier than NYX's Rica's Rating: 4/5

Skincare - Face -Laneige - Water Bank Essence

I got this as a freebie when one of my friend from Philippines bought something from Laneige when she went on a vacation here in Hong Kong. Since I was a Hong Kong resident, they have a special offer for residents that once you join their membership and give your details to them, you'll get a special free pack of testers from them. And this product, is one of the freebies that we got. This product from Laneige claims: "With Multi Nano Liposome technology to boost water supply and retention to 12 hours and deliver micro-moisture ingredients to quench your skin, with no stickness." Usage: Apply day and night, after emulsion and before cream. Gently massage onto face and neck. So that means, this is like an asian version of "serum." For my own opinion, I don't really like this product from Laneige. This was the first product that I got to use from Laneige and it's quite disappointing because I'm not that impressed with it. First of all, if it is a serum, it doesn't really look like a serum. It looks like a combination or in the middle of being a serum and being a cream for my own opinion. Second, my skin doesn't really react to this product. It stays the same, doesn't really do anything after application. I tried applying it 6 times already, but still, no results found. It just adds another step for my every day skin care routine which is a bad thing since I am ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS in a rush every morning. (I sleep very late at night talking to my boyfriend that I always wake up the next morning all groggy and sleepy! LOL!) Anyway, I give this product a rating of 2/5 since it's not bad after all, but no help as well for me.

This is my most favorite hot pink lipstick! Of all my hot pink lipstick collections, this one suits me the most! It's not that dark hot pink, a little bit light, no frost and most important of all, it's not blue-based. I purchased this over Cherry Culture for I think USD 1.99 + shipping fee. I notice that any lipstick that is blue-based does not suits my skintone well. I used this when me and my childhood friend went out for shopping and she does not really wear any lipsticks at all. She was soo tempted to buy a lipstick because of what I am wearing and wants to head over MAC to buy one. Fortunately, I told her it was NYX and so, she was be able to resist her temptation! Bad thing about it is that, I'm not really fond of NYX lipsticks. It's too creamy, not actually creamy, but just easy to glide, making it easy to wear off too, and not to mention it has more tendency to smudge than other lipsticks. So... For NYX Round Lipstick users, BEWARE!

Toners -Estee Lauder - Cyber White Ex - Extra Brightening Moisture Lotion

One reason why I bought this product from Estee Lauder is that I am in love with Estee Lauder's Cyber White Ex Extra Brightening Collection. They are exclusively released only here in Asia and is perfectly fit for Asian skins. Anyway, I love their products from this line (the ones that I already tried) and so, I gave this one a try. I already tried one toning lotion from Estee Lauder and it is quite ok for my own opinion. This Estee Lauder Cyber White Ex Extra Brightening Toning Lotion quite disappointed me because it did not really react to my skin at all. First of all, it claims that it can make your dark spots whiter than it used to be, making your skin an even shade, the longer time you use it. But unfortunately, it is not applicable for my skin. I've been using this for quite some time now, but still, it is still not reacting to my skin. I'm not sure if it is one of the cause of my breakouts right now (pimples and acnes) but, I am currently having one now (and my period is no where near from now). Also, the toning lotion itself, does not react to my skin, not unlike Estee Lauder's Perfectly Clean Toning Lotion which gives me a minty reaction once applied to my skin. It really does nothing at all for me, just cleaning, making sure that I already rinsed off all of my make-ups for today. That's just about it. Obviously, I'm not going to repurchase it, will still continue with my HG Toning Lotion search... *** Estee Lauder Cyber White Ex Extra Brightening Toning Lotion can be purchased at your local stores for HKD 340 per 200 mL ***
