I used this product in "Naked" maybe 3-4 times and it completely dried out on me. I love the color and the concept of lip stains, but I didn't find this stain to be particularly long-lasting either. Thumbs down from me!
I hate--repeat hate--this cleanser! I still do not understand how it receives all the raves and recommendations from dermatologists. I rinse and rinse and I still feel as though I have this nasty film on my skin. It does a terrible job of removing make-up. I threw this right into the trash. Yecch!
Pressed Powders -LORAC - Translucent Touch Up Powder-TL 1
hollywood 8/6/2003 2:47:00 PM
I cannot beleive that no one else has reviewed this powder. I sampled it at Sephora first and then when I glanced at myself in the mirror again--I had to have it. I have fair skin with yellow undertones (SSE 05) and this is a perfect match for me. It is great for touch-ups during the day and just seems to fuse with your skin. I'm not wild about the compact--but the product is better than any other powder I've tried (T leClerc, LM, Nars, etc). Go give it a try first!
I love this duo! I think that I may use it in the opposite way that it was intended. I use the grey shade on the lid and the light blue shade in the crease. It makes my blue eyes just pop! This was the first NARS duo that I purchased and now, of course, I'm hooked. I thought that it would be too obvious against blue eyes, but the thing that I love about the duos is the subtle-ness. Be sure to play aorund with this one at Sephora!
I tried everything that I could think of to arrange a swap for this item and when I finally did--I didn't love it. After reading the reviews, I thought this would be the perfect eye duo for me. Somehow, it just looked too pearly on me and didn't do anything to enhance my eye color. Also, I didn't find that there was a nice contrast between the two shades as in the other NARS duos. Sorry--this one didn't do it for me!
I received this eye duo in a swap and I think it is one of the less talked-about duos, but I love the effect especially after the day wears on. I put the lighter shade on the lid all the way up to the brow and then I use my Morgan Schick crease brush with the darker shade in the crease. It looks great against my blue eyes. I wish these duo weren't so high priced, but the I love the sheer, subtle effect. I never look "made-up" with this combo.
Hair Styling Tools -Mason Pearson - Pocket Mixed Bristle

I received this brush from a great MUA-er! Boy, do I love it! I've had it for almost 2 years and this brush really does last forever. Plus, it never adds any static electricity to my hair. It is the perfect purse size and I've turned my Mom and sister onto this brush as well. They love it, too. I'm turning my whole family into cosmetic snobs!
My husband actually ended up liking this product more than I did. I think it's better for very dry hair aso opposed to normal or oily hair. The smell is wonderful, but I did not feel as though my hair rinsed clean afterwards. You also need to be careful about leaving this bar where it can get wet in the shower..as it will disappear. I preferred to use it as a body shampoo rather than a hair shampoo.
I like to mist my face during the day and I keep this product above my computer. It has an apricot-like aroma that I'm not crazy about, but it does a nice job of moisturizing during the day. I probably won't re-purchase this as I prefer the LUSH mist to this one. It's not a bad product, just not one that I would highly recommend.
This is the one multiple that I don't find myself reaching for too often. It's a very deep grape/berry color with no shimmer. I do sometimes use it on my lips or mixed just lightly with NARS Antibes. Actually, this is the best way that I discovered to use this multiple. I had a make-up artist use it on my eye crease an I do sometimes use it in that way. But, I really prefer NARS Antibes.
I love the texture of this blush and how it just melts into your skin, but this color is a tad too dark for my PPP complexion. I think it would "rock" on an olive complexion. It reminds me of NARS Sumatra with a tiny bit of gold sparkle. I love the compact black container that you can just slide into a small purse.
Lotions/ Creams -Fresh - Sugarbath Body Lotion in Lemon
hollywood 8/3/2003 10:01:00 PM
This was my very first Fresh product and I have to say that I keep coming back to this body lotion. I put it on for the first time before going to the movies and I couldn't stop smelling myself in the movies. At first, I wasn't sure that it was me that smelled that nice. One bottle has lasted a very long time. It has a lemon scent that has a powdery base (if that makes sense) and it softens the lemon scent a bit. This is definitely one of fave body lotions of all time!
This is a very unusual fragrance. It starts out somewhat grapefruity and you can smell cocoa-like undertones. I really like it when I first put it on, but it fades somewhat and leaves a slightly sour smell. Luckily, I got this as a sample and was able to try it a few times before purchasing. I'm really on the fence on this one because every time I try it-I love it at first and then not so much. I haven't given away my sample yet!
This is my only and favorite post-wax treatment (especially in the bikini area). I haven't had an ingrown hair since I began using this treatment. One bottle seems to last almost a year--so I initially thought it was expensive, but a little really does go along way.
I think this little tube of paint will last me a lifetime. I have both Snapshot and Untitled. I use Untitled as a base--it's perfect for that, but I've never used it alone. I love Snapshot as a lid color. They last perfectly without creasing.
