Polishes -Sinful - 313 Pink Forever

This is my first experience with Sinful nail polish. I LOVE this polish and this color. It's the perfect creme. No glitter/shimmer at all but it's still shiny. It looks like a grown up bubble gum pink. It's a gorgeous pink that really pops against tannish skin. The application was wonderful. I hastily applied it to my toes just to see the color, and it actually looked good, so I kept it. So far, it's been a few days without any chipping and minimal wear. I definitely recommend Sinful polish, and this color in particular. Plus, for less than $2, even if you hate it, you're not out a lot of money.

Top/Base Coats -OPI - Top Coat

Too bad there isn't a way to give it a negative lippie. I can't say enough things about this top coat. I've been using Seche Vite for a while, and although I've had some peeling issues with it, I've been fairly pleased. However, my SV is getting stringy, so I tried the OPI top coat (I think it came as a free gift with some polish). What a mess. I knew that it wouldn't dry super fast, but I didn't expect it to get dented and have sheet marks after TWO AND A HALF HOURS of drying. I popped in a DVD, painted my nails, and sat in bed for over 2 hours. I fell asleep before the polish dried. I woke up with horrible looking nails. They still didn't feel totally dry. Not a fan. I'm glad I didn't buy this. I definitely won't be buying it again.

Lipstick -MAC - Satin Lipstick in Twig

I LOVE this lipstick. I prefer matte lipsticks because they last, and they can be dressed up with different glosses. This color is very complementary with my coloring. Paired with a Wet n Wild lip liner, this stuff lasts a long time...eating, drinking, etc.

Lipstick -MAC - Frost - Angel

I'm undecided on this lipstick. I don't like how it looks without any lipgloss. It's very flat and looks out of place on my lips. However, when I put a lip gloss over it, it looks really good. It's a little too light pink for my taste, but mixing it or adding a lip gloss really helps. It's not something that I would buy again, but it's not a total waste of money because I'm still able to use it.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Nymphette lipglass

Love this lipglass! It looks different in the tube, so don't let that fool you. The color is beautiful. It brightens up my face nicely. The staying power isn't all that great, but honestly, I haven't found a lip gloss/glass that lasts.

Foundations -Smashbox - High Definition Healthy FX Foundation

I'm new to foundation, but wanted something to wear every now and again when I want more than lipstick/mascara. I bought it at Sephora, and the lady applied it for me. Love, love, love it. It's very light and airy. It felt like I was wearing a moisturizer. Yes, the coverage is sheer to medium, but if that's what you're looking for, then this is for you. I took off one lippie for the price.

Lip Gloss -NARS - Turkish Delight

LOVE this lip gloss. Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth it. I was a bit worried when I saw the color in the tube, but when you apply it, it goes on like a dream. It's not sticky at all. It has zero glitter. It is very shiny. It livens up your face. It pairs with many different shades of lipstick/liner. I took 1 lippie off because it doesn't last as long. However, I've found that if I wear it with a color stay/matte lipstick, it lasts longer.

Awful color. Very unflattering. It looks like when your nails are stained by a dark color, and you put a sheer color on top, and it's muddled. Didn't like it at all.

I put a 3 for price because I bought it from Head2Toe Beauty, and it was cheap. I loved the color! It's perfect for a french manicure. Very shiny. Perfect for work.
