The scent is calm and great but what makes it even better is i dont have to apply a moisturiser afterwards. Usual body wash leaves my skin itchy due to dryness but this made my skin feels soft. Hurray i save a step! Since i am an overseas customer as there is no Aveeno in Singapore, i purchase mine from Drugstore.com. Only wish it comes in a bigger bottle with pump!
Masks -Clarins - Thirst Quenching Hydra - Balance Mask

It is a staple for me. I use this after exfoliation and deep cleansing to provide moisture to my face. Its part of my twice weekly home-facial. I have sensitive, combi with dry cheeks face and this works well to bring radiance and smoothness.
Ive been using this for nearly a decade now. After washing my face and putting on a mild fruit enzyme exfoliator from dermalogica, i use this pink clay for deep cleansing. With this combi, my skin looks radiant, smooth and soft after washing off instantly. The cheapest i find is from Bonjour flagship stalls that sprawl all over HK.
Cleansers -Estee Lauder - Cyber White Calming Foam Cleanser

Im staying neutral on this. Been using for the past year and there is still much to go. In terms of product per dollar paid, it works out efficiently well. Just a tear drop size is sufficient to foam and leaves a sparking clean feel when washed. I have pretty sensitive skin and it hasnt made my face angry, although i may give a higher rating if its slightly more hydrating too. Im not sure if it does brighten my skin since i follow up with a combination of other whitening products.
Let me begin by saying i have oily lids. I purchased this pot being the hype it was and been using this every morning for more than 2 years now. It is still more than half full and doesnt seem to dry out! Glides on smoothly and consistently. I have it in natural brown and i find it too light for me. Though it was natural looking i would have prefer a darker brown or black for higher definition and a more classy finish. Now comes the worst, this smudges few minutes after application. I always have to check the mirror to remove any stains on the upper lid. Having oily lids and not wanting to use any primer, the product is totally gone after a few hours especially on hot tropical days or after a swim. If im just going to work and i apply only on upper lid, the line has almost disappeared, worst still there is smudging and that accentuates my dark circles...almost looking like a vampire when i reached home at 8 or 9 in the evening. It may last a lifetime but im going to ditch this. Going back to my Lancome Artliner.
Loose Powders -MAC - Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
helethea 4/4/2010 12:16:00 PM
I use MAC fibre optic brush to apply this. Has a nice translucent finish. THough it doesnt hold makeup all day. By mid-day, nose is oily and end of day, whole face is shining. The packaging is compact for travelling but not user friendly when you're trying to get the last bit out i.e. need to take the shift out and process tends to overturn and waste the powder.
Ive only tried a sample. Texture: Easy & smooth to spread, even application Finish: Healthy glow once applied but shine for entire face comes in at mid-day. Almost melt the whole foundation at end day. Effects: Keeps face moisturised. No sensitive reaction to alcohol content. No redness and bumps appearing. Does not cover blackheads and open pores well.
Moisturizers -Orlane - Extrait Vital - Multi-Active Revitalizer

ive applied it under foundation and without. Results with makeup on top is good and maintains condition of skin. Im half guessing its also because im using a matte loose powder that keeps oilies at bay. If only this alone, face is shinning like a mirror at midday. Despite this, it is a good moisturiser for sensitive, prone to redness, oily but dehydrated skin and i see myself re-purchasing again.
i bought this on reading reviews here. It works for my sensitive prone to redness skin. I usually leave it overnight and wake up to clear and a relaxed face. Texture is alot smoother and redness gone. Totally recommend this.
i bought the pencil given great reviews here but was disappointed as i had to tug at it to draw the line. its easily broken too. sometime in the afternoon, it smudges. still i decided to give the liquid version a try. also disappointed. the tip is too stiff and hard to draw. for both version, i only used them once. found lancome artliner easier n better to use.

a hg for me!!! i would definately get this over and over again. makes my lashes longer and fuller too!!!
its a pretty good natural mascara. the effects aint dramatic so its good enough for normal daily use. i have to use an eye lash curler together with a primer in order for the lashes to curl. but i like that this formula doesnt clump. ive tried many other cult brands eg Diorshow but nothing compares to this. it never clumps and goes on so natural. i cant get it anymore in singapore. Help please!
Sunscreen -Shiseido - Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion SPF 55 PA+++ [DISCONTINUED]
helethea 4/15/2006 10:41:00 AM
i love this product when i was given a sample to try. i have combi-oily sensitive skin (esp to alcohol). when i wanted to purchase it, was told by the sa that only spf50 was available. she has not heard of the one in spf 55. weird. anyhow shiseido may have replaced spf55 with spf50 or it might be a change of the label. is there a difference for the two? like the consistency, texture, finish, ingredients etc? anyone help??? thanks!!!
did not take off my blackheads/whiteheads nicely and left my pores even bigger. i used to have only open pores on nose, now i have them over cheeks after this. shucks!!!
