This is a FANTASTIC brush with great quality for a wonderful price. What else do you need? Seriously? I used this for powder, blush, bronzer... its uber soft, doesn't shed and its even better than other more expensive brushes I've tried (I had some Clinique brushes and Sonia's kick their ass!!!). I even tried some of the Sephora ones and trust me... these ones are worth it (I also have Sonia's foundation brush... same awesomeness). Get them at Target! ;)

Crème -MAC - Studio Tech

OMG, the make up artists at these stores are geniuses!!! I thought I would never find a foundation that would match me since... My body is waaaay darker than *most* of my face. See, my forehead is almost the color of my body but below that I am pale and my cheeks are extremely prone to redness. I have always ranted about never finding a foundation that was right for my color problem because honestly I am multicolored so it was difficult to even decide which of my body parts to match my foundation to (LOL!). So one day I happened to complain to my cousin, who is an avid MAC user. She said "dude, just go to MAC... I assure you they WILL match you no matter what!". So I saved some $$$ and decided to take a shot. The MA who helped me (Sabrina... I love u girl!) took a look at my skin and said I had AMAZING skin and I am like "I know I have no pimples whatsoever but my face is so multicolored I look like a damned flag!". She laughed and said that foundation was to even skin out so I would be fine. She said I didn't need too much coverage since I have no blemishes and recommended the Select Moistureblend but I stopped her and told he my face can get VERY red so I would rather have something with buildable coverage just in case. I also emphasized my skin is dry as hell and I get flakies around my mouth and nose area. She picked this baby up in NC30 and swiped some in my cheek... I was holding a mirror and took a look and my first thought was "Hell noooooo! This looks YELLOW!!!"... she said it was crucial to match my face to my neck and body and although my cheeks are pale and rosy this would make me look even all over. She took some moisturizer (taking into account my skin is dry) and mixed some foundation with it using a brush. She put the stuff all over my face and by the time she had finished two other MA's had already came by open mouthed to contemplate Sabrina's work. One very effeminated male MA was the last one and he proclaimed "Honey you are sooooo beautiful... your skin is absolutely flawless!". God bless that dude... he sounded so sincere. He made my day :) She finally finished... I looked in the mirror and was wowed by how even my face looked (and how smooth and perfect the finish was). She asked me to step in front of the bigger mirror and take a look. I did and... OH-MY-GOD... my face was the same color as my neck, my arms, my chest... I indeed looked good but to me the biggest triumph was to finally get a foundation with the right color. YAAAAAAY!!! I was like, I need to get this right now! Sabrina was so so so wonderful she even advised me on the proper way to apply it to make it work for me. She told me not to use the sponge (too wasteful) and to use a brush dipped in moisturizer like she did. Needless to say, I can replicate the effect with her wise advice. You don't need a MAC brush... buy one from Target (the Sonia Kashuk brushes kick ASS!!!). I am sorry for the loooong review but this has been such a wonderful experience for me... I swear I still smile when I look at myself (now evened out!) in the mirror when wearing this. Yes, it is $30... but its a great investment for something that matches your skin tone so perfectly. Prescriptives Custome Blend costs like $60! And the compact is genius... this makeup is travel friendly and doesn't spill in my makeup bag :) MAC stores in the US accept returns for 30 days... regardless if you used the product or not (I asked!). So my advice is if this doesn't work for you in the first 30 days, return it and get the MAC foundation appropiate for you... the important thing is that whatever you pick it will match you! UPDATE: Even though it lasts through an entire workday, it is very transferable... I leave spots on my cel phone all the time. My bf touched my face and actually 'felt' the foundation (LOL!). So yeah it looks awesome on, but I would be careful of smudging pillows or clothing. I still think MAC's color selection is genius! Thanks to knowing my color, I have found several drugstore products in MUA that match me :) I heart you ladies!!!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I heart this mascara!!!! It is definitely the best drugstore mascara I have tried by far. I have tiny lashes and with a couple of coats of this I get significantly longer and lusher lashes! The best thing is that it doesn't smudge at ALL... lasts through an entire work day perfectly. Only con is the brush is hard to use and I have poked my eyes a few times but it is totally worth it because I love the results and the price :)

Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Liner with blender

Not bad... not bad all for a drugstore product! I love the creaminess of the pencil, which makes it quite easy to apply. The smudger is genius... I think smudging the lines makes the eyes look waaay sexier! I don't know about the staying power for an entire day because I only use eyeliner for going out... but it lasts just fine for a party night. For the quality and price (about $3) I'd say you give it a shot. Note: the Black one is amazing... but I also tried the one in Mink and I didn't like it as much. For some reason, it wasn't as creamy and the I had to trace several times in order for the color to show up.
