I have chronically chapped, flaky lips until I remember to use this stuff. The salicylic acid exfoliates brilliantly. Once my lips are smooth, I prefer less irritating balms. Do not use Carmex if your lips feel burnt.
I, too, tried Chance side-by-side with Coco Mlle. Chance has much busier and brighter floral and citrus top notes, while Mlle. seems more grounded. They're both lovely, but I can't wear Mlle. I do prefer the drydown of Chance - much kinder and gentler than Mlle., but still with a spicy "bite" that I'm not wild about. Chance is a tangy-sweet floral with some spicy warmth. Not my favourite, but nice for a change now and then, and unique, despite comparisons to Mlle. Really!
On first whiff, this reminded me strongly of Organza Indecence, only a little richer and sweeter, if you can imagine! Addict is indeed a warm, rich, sweet, spicy vanillic scent. All of these things add up to my ideal fragrance, except there is just a hint too much sandalwood to make me live and breathe this one. It's very very strong, which is why I can't give it 5/5. I am a wimp. The scent itself is delicious and makes me happy...but I'd love a splash bottle so I could control the amount I apply.
I wish I knew why I loved this scent. It does indeed smell like cedar, flowers, and yes, it's a bit mediciney. Oddly, though, it doesn't offend me in the least; in fact, it makes me wickedly happy and it doesn't rile up my allergies, so I wear it now and then for something unique when I'm not in the mood for a really warm scent.
This is one of the best detanglers there is.
This is such a unique scent, and it works well on my skin. I don't find it overpowering at all, but it does last. To me, it smells like cola, spice and musk with a vanilla base. It can smell a bit plasticky at first, like many artificial scents, but it doesn't stay that way. Very similar to Hugo Deep Red in the drydown, but not as fruity. Hypnotic Poison is warm, spicy, sweet, but not cloying. I keep coming back to this one - I actually crave it.
I needed some time to warm up to this one. Fortunately, it warmed up to me. When first sprayed, it's more harsh than warm on my skin. The clove note dominates, at first smelling like bug spray. The harsh top notes fade quickly, though, leaving behind a soft, yummy, warm, spicy scent that is very light. Not much staying power, but that's fine by me, as I like to be able to wash a scent off when I'm tired of it. Yum!
This product dries to a decent powder finish, but it really settles in creases and rubs off easily. Coverage is good for a cream-to-powder, but dry skin patches are highlighted. Application is average - could be smoother. Natural Ivory is a perfect match for my skin, not too orangey, so I will rebuy until I find a good replacement.
Deep Red is a warm, spicy, vanillic fruity floral. The fruit top notes fade pretty quickly on me, leaving a delicious, sexy warm scent that I love. It reminds me a lot of Hypnotic Poison once it has dried down. Sweet, but not overwhelming, and the fruityness is tempered beautifully by the spicy notes. Unfortunately, it gets my allergies going.
Very nice scent. Yes, it's a lot like Angel and Hanae Mori - it has my favourite qualities of both. Wish has a warmth and fruity complexity that really works and draws major compliments. A bit heavy for me, but it lasts. I prefer this over Casmir in a big way.
Here's a scent that I thought I would detest at first, as it is very strong and spicy at first. I love the drydown, however, and I found it to be a warm but clean scent. Still not totally sold on this - it's a bit strong for me.
This product gives fair coverage, and the colours are great; Ivory Beige is actually light enough for my skin, and not too yellow. It does feel a bit heavy on my forehead, and accentuates the flakes in a big way. Fine for cheeks/chin/throat.

This is a good product for someone who wants the staying power of regular Colorstay, but not the heavy-duty matte coverage. The Lite is much more sheer, but is still smooth and polished. I prefer the Lite version of Ivory to the regular one, which is too yellow for me. Titanium Dioxide-based SPF 15 is a nice touch, but not one I consider essential in a foundation - I don't use it on my whole face. It holds up really well in heat and humidity!
Light Blue is a rare combination of citrusy and warm, and I think it's divine. It's just a little earthy, too, making it less ordinary than many citrus scents. I find it to be TOO distinct to wear alot, so this doesn't get used as much as I thought it would.
This is a yummy scent! It's juicy and refreshing. I love the grapefruit note - it's a bit like YSL Babydoll, only fruitier, with a more pleasant drydown. I keep returning to this scent, so I am going to buy another bottle before it's gone for good.
