Lipstick -Christian Dior - Rouge Hydrating Lipstick in Rose Souffle

For years I wore Dior's L'Elegance, which is sadly no more. So I was looking for a MLBB shade and tried Rose Souffle. It's a mauve-nude tone which isn't quite as neutral as I was looking for. Still, it's a pretty understated color for those who like cool neutrals. It's pretty pricy though for a color I like but don't love. But that's not Dior's fault--that's mine for buying this particular color. I still love the creamy texture and generous pigment of these lipsticks.
On the plus side: The color mink is a subtle taupy brown that is great for everyday wear; it went on reasonably smoothly and smudged easily. The downside: it smudges easily when you don't want it to. I can't use it at all on my lower lid. But for the price, I'd buy it again.
For me, this eyeliner didn't go on as smoothly or evenly as I like. I have to go over the line several times to get even application. I have it in Sable, which is a nice soft dark brown. Love the color, just wish I loved the texture better.
I love sheer lipsticks, and this is one of the best I've used. It's a warm tawny brown color, not too nude not too bold. It wears pretty well for a sheer, too.
I use this product in the shower, stepping out of the "line of fire" and rubbing it all over, then scrubbing away till I feel smooth. The lovely rosy scent lingers after rinsing. And my SO can't stop touching my soft skin.
Oh how I wish this stuff were available in stores again. I really love the consistency and the colors of their eye shadow. It goes on smoothly and doesn't cake or get blotchy. I love the Almond as a no makeup-look pale neutral and the Chestnut for a more pronounced brown shadow. These are both pretty matte, which works well for me.
This is it--my HG hair product. It's so luxuriously rich and thick but it doesn't make my hair crunchy or sticky. I've tried others but I keep coming back to Kenra. I doubt I'll stray again.
So, I love the scents and the burning qualities of this candle. But does the packaging have to be so cheesy? Who wants to be an advertisement for the product?? I know that YC is finally coming out with some tasteful jars...about time, I say.
I don't shop at Bath and Body Works because I find their lotions and gels too cloying for my taste. But I was there buying a gift for my ten year old niece who loves the stuff, when I saw the True Blue foot products. Yes, they're a blatant Bliss rip-off, but for half price...So I tried the AHA Foot Lotion and, after three weeks of nightly use, I have to say that my feet haven't been this soft and sandal-worthy since the Carter administration. The scent is a vaguely minty vaguely eucalyptus smell; pleasant but unmemorable. But, darn it, the stuff does work. So I'll definitely be back for more.
This is my HG of conditioners. The scent is so wonderful--green and herbal and floral--and it makes my hair feel like feathers it's so soft. Jungle is a little tricky to use at first--you need to have both your hair and the bar of Jungle soaking wet, then you either rub it vigorously between your hands and then run your Jungly hands through your hair or you can stroke the bar over your hair and finger-comb it through. Either way I find works best with hot water to better melt the emollient oils.
I really wanted to love this one, but I can't say I do. To use it you have to stroke it along your hair and then either comb it through or finger-comb it through your hair. Luckily I have short hair, but it still isn't terribly user-friendly. The smell is mildly orangy. My hair felt okay afterwards but I really prefer the scent and the effect of Jungle.
You can't get easier than this--the "lipstick" style concealer goes on smoothly and travels well. For the delicate undereye area, I do have to put it on directly over moisturizer for easier blending. I'm pretty pale, but the palest shade was too much for me, so I use the #2. Once I discovered this, I trashed my other concealers.
This stuff is fabulous for the price. I have it in Rhubarb (a tawny pink, nutmeg (nude) and coffee (a light brown). They slide on so easily. I can't decide whether or not I like the sensation--mentholly tingly--or not, but the colors are sheer and natural and feel so creamy on my lips. You do have to re-apply pretty often.

I love this cleanser. It's so creamy and gentle but it works so well. And I love the peachy fragrance. This is my HG for a dry skin every day cleanser.
Light, floral, and grapefruity. This is my summer scent and has been for years. Hope they never stop making it.
