Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Cocoa Butter Stick
rated 5 of 5

I thought that this is quite a brilliant idea, as I am the type of person who hates getting greasy hands from applying body lotion. It is very convenient, and the smell is absolutely wonderful. I find it suitable for late summer and autumn, might switch to the cocoa butter during the harsher winter times.

Sunscreen -Kiehls - Vital Sun Protection SPF30 Sunscreen
rated 4 of 5

This sunscreen is definitely more suitable for the body than the face. On hot and humid days it could be a bit too heavy, but I'd definitely use it during the winter/ski trips etc. I used it when I worked at my summer job waitressing on a patio, and it was fantastic on my arms and legs.

Toners -Biotherm - Biosource Clarifying Lotion
rated 3 of 5

It's the toner that I turn to when I can't think of new brands to try out. It does make you feel cleaner afterwards and doesn't make me break-out, but it doesn't improve my skin conditions a lot.

Scrubs -Sisley - Botanical Gentle Buffing Cream

This is the only scrub that leaves my face feeling actually cleansed of impurities and dead skin cells. Absolutely fabulous. I just hope that I can find something that could perform a similar good job and is CHEAPER.

Eye Shadow -Sephora - Fard Paillete / Glitter Powder Compact

I aboslutely adore my no. 117 (deep purple with multicoloured glitters) as my everyday eyeliner. The purple hue itself is very flattering and the texture is easy to apply (at this price too!). As an eyeliner it's very versatile, and the glitter adds a kick to it. Paired with Chanel's cristalle lip gloss (no. 12 bonbon) and a natural mascara, I'm ready to go!

Liquid -Chanel - Voile Universel

Really like the texture and sheer quality of this foundation, and it also evens out my skintone quite nicely. Very natural. However, it is a bit expensive, but well, it's Chanel. Will definitely repurchase it again.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Electric Eel
rated 3 of 5
faustine 7/19/2005 5:26:00 AM

As the Mac salesperson recommended, I use this as an eyeliner rather than an eyeshadow. Being an Asian, my eyes are single eyelid (but not the narrow-eye type) so any colour too intense/deep would usually look horrible on me. I would say that as an eyeliner, the colour is quite nice and sharp. However, I do find the texture a bit too chalky, and it is quite difficult to remove with regular eye makeup removers (I've tried Chanel and Clinique, both left a faded blue stains around my eyes).

This is THE blush for me, and I haven't found any better. The texture is great, and it gives me a natural flush. Thank you chanel.

Toners -Origins - United State Balancing Toner
rated 2 of 5

I was curious about Origin's products, and decided to get this toner as a starter. It didn't really do anything to my skin and the alcohol smell is overwhelming.
