Are you kidding me? This can't possibly be any yummier!! You can actually smell and taste the cake. The warm, yummy, soft cake! LOVE this 3-in-1, you gotta try it!
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - butter cream frosting 3 in 1
ewiggs26 1/3/2007 3:02:00 PM
Philosophy has definately improved their 3-in-1's because this one hits the mark!! It smells exactly of Jaqua's buttercream frosting body cream. There are not plastic or artificial notes. I'm really loving this!
I purchased this lotion online during my search for grape smelling body products. The lotion comes in a large tube with a semi-twist cap which makes it a little difficult to close without a mess. The product is a nice consistency and moisturizes well with a very subtle shimmer. It's difficult to describe the scent, but what comes to mind is the smell of the portion of the vine when a grape is removed. It's very gentle, refreshing and subtle. Doesn't clash with any fragrance. All in all, I was hoping for more of a fake grape scent but this is definately lovely. I would definately purchase again.
Very creamy and smooth application, awesome click tube and very pretty color. The color has a lot more pink in it than i was hoping for. I don't think it works as well for me as it would for someone with nuetral/cool skin undertones.
Lotions/ Creams -Philosophy - State of Grace Handcream Trio
ewiggs26 12/19/2006 4:56:00 PM
The set includes a tube of Amazing Grace, Baby Grace and Pure Grace handcream. However, I was shocked when I received this set. Upon paying 40+ dollars, I expected the tubes to be much larger than they are. They are very small, and I feel cheated! Aside from that, the handcreams smell great and I love the novelty of having the grace scented creams to take with me in my purse. The consistency of the cream isn't as creamy as I had hoped, but I will enjoy them none the less.
Fragrances -Philosophy - Amazing Grace Eau De Parfum
ewiggs26 11/19/2006 6:21:00 PM
This is the new amazing grace fragrance spray that is "supposed" to last longer. I was excited to try becuase the original never lasted on my skin. In my opinion the eau de parfum is a total waste of money. Philosophy slapped a new name to the bottle of the same formula, charged $10 more and claim that is lasts longer. It doesn't, atleast not on my skin. Don't waste your money.
I've heard raves about this mascara, so I thought I would give it a try. It has potential with volumizing, but I find that it clumps too quickly. I normally use Christian Dior Catwalk, and I never run into clumping problems no matter how many times I go over my lashes. I think I'm gonna stick with my HG mascara after all.
I don't really care for any of the other bond fragrances, but this one really atracts me. The smell reminds me of an evening at the beach. It doesn't smell to sweet or overly tropical. I do pick up some suntan-ish notes, but nothing that overwhelms. I could definately wear this on a daily basis. Very pleasing.
I was really suprised to find that this scent isn't good at all. I was expecting the warm yummy smell of real pumpkin pie, but to me it smells like seniorita margharita with some cinnamon and spice added. Not a favorite.
I really like the cinnamon bun scent, but this lip shine turned me off. I don't think it smelled/tasted like the 3-in-1 at all. I got a bit of cinnamon smell with an overwhelming clove-like smell.
I received this 3-in-1 in the pool party set. I was really attracted to the lime green color, but the smell is disappointing. It smells just like the Prell shampoo I used as a kid. I don't detect any starfruit or kiwi at all. Def not a winner in my book.
Lips -Philosophy - Crumb Berry Pie Flavored Lip Shine
ewiggs26 8/18/2006 4:49:00 PM
My least favorite lip shine. Just like the CBP 3-in-1, this smells and tastes plasticky. You can barely detect any "berry" in it. Not a good one!
Lip Gloss -Philosophy - Vanilla Birthday Cake Flavored Lip Shine
ewiggs26 8/18/2006 4:46:00 PM
I think this is my favorite lip shine from philosophy. Unlike the VBC 3-in-1, this actually smells like vanilla cake. It tastes really yummy and leaves small golden glitter on your lip (which i could do without).
I personally don't understand all of the raves about this scent. I liked it at first in the bottle, but after wearing it for a few mins it started to smell exactly like J.Lo's Glow. There is something about the powdery/old lady floral scent that really turns me off. I don't see how this fragrance was flying off the shelves, I guess everybody is walking around smelling like grandma's.
This stuff is the best. The closest to real microdermabrasion that I've tried. Ultra expensive, but lasts a long time.
