Oddly enough, I use this product only on my face. I just got the little sample and I had no idea it was for the body. I love it because it is gentle, soothes my skin and really helps my acne. It's wonderful!
This is the absolute best smelling perfume ever! Every time I go into Sephora I spray this on me and it lingers throughout the whole day. I probably look really weird during the rest of my shopping when I keep smelling my wrists. I've loved it for months, but sadly I have no money so I am saving up, which is going to take me a while considering it costs around $90 for the smallest bottle. When you first spray it on it smells horrible and really alcoholy. It takes about 15 minutes or so to really soak into the skin and project it's true smell, which is amazing. LOVE!
Shampoo -Burt's Bees - More Moisture Raspberry and Brazil Nut Shampoo

I've had this for about 2 years maybe... only used about 1/8th of the bottle. Just threw it away today. I don't feel like this even cleanses the hair. You can't even get a lather going. Although it does smell great! Some guys at school were like... "someone's hair smells great." Ehh it just doesn't really do anything, at least not pour moi.
I used to use this daily when I had butt length hair. I got it cut about a month and a half ago and it's now at my shoulders. It is great for taming frizzy hair and gives hair a smooth feel, shiny look and overall great appearance. I wouldn't say that it gives long lasting damage repair to the hair, it more or less just masks the problems.
I never thought I would like a lotion that was so cheap and sold in a drugstore. This is my miracle moisturizer. I bought it on whim when I was at Walgreens and have been using for about 2 weeks now. It is the ONLY moisturizer that doesn't make me break out. I've tried using other ones, but within 2 days of using them I get a couple of pimples. I use this three times a day. I take a shower in the morning and the afternoon after I workout because I do it outside and it's super hot out and I get all sweaty. I use this in conjunction with the Normal to Oily Skin Cleanser. I use about a little more than pea size during the day and about 3 peas at night. During the day it does sometimes leave my skin a little oily, but I have no problem with that because it's easy to fix and my skin is naturally quite oily. I would rather have the oil than the acne that I get form other products. I am also on prescription Bactrim DS from my Dermatologist for acne, so that may be changing the results a little bit for this, but I think it would also be great even if I wasn't on an anti-acne medication. I also use this all over my body and it has REALLY helped my dry skin on my chest and back. I used to have SUPER bad acne there 5 months ago when I went off an acne medication, and it was terrible. I had to use 10% benzoyl peroxide nightly and my skin was so dry it felt like touching leather. When I started to use this it even helped LESSEN my body acne and my skin is super soft all the time now. I have never been happier about a moisturizer and will continue to use this for a very long time!
Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)
emmanelson96 5/12/2012 12:37:00 PM
I was looking for a cleanser that I could use day and night. I've tried many cleansers over the past year or so and they've all been either too drying, didn't work on my acne or I just didn't like how they cleansed my skin. I got this on a whim at Walgreen's and I've never been happier with a cleanser! It has a nice, not to powerful smell and I love the fact that it's gentle enough that I can use it three times daily. I workout after school outside and I hate not taking showers afterwards, and this is really great at removing all the grime. I use this in conjunction with the All Skin Types Moisturizing Lotion and my skin has never looked better. I think the problem with acne is that people use way to much harsh stuff. I found that these work way better and don't aggravate my skin like cleansers formed for acne do. Give this a try. There is a big version and a small one. The small one is $8 for 8oz. while the big one is only $10 for 16 oz. It's really a great deal that will last you a long time.
I hate to be the one giving this a bad review, but my skin just can't stand aloe vera for some god foresaken reason. I put this on at night the first night I got it and in the morning I had a slew of new pimples. I also got pimples on my chest and back. The night before my skin was clear and radiant. I also put this on my legs, which was my big deciding factor of why I am posting this review. My legs got like 2 pimples on them. I always know when my skin hates a product when I see a pimple or two on my legs, because I never break out there. Who does? Aloe vera just seems to cause my skin a lot of trouble. If you are trying this out, check on a little spot of your skin to see how things go before you apply it generously all over your body like I did.
I'm on the fence about this one. I used to use it day and night all over my face as a spot treatment. I've never washed my face with it because the lady at lush said it worked much better as a spot treatment for acne. Well it did make my skin dry, but not to a super dry point. I couldn't say it dramatically helped my acne, but it did help it somewhat.
Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure
emmanelson96 5/5/2012 1:24:00 PM
I am using a brand made from Trader Joe's, but not exactly this brand. I don't think there is any better oil than jojoba for my acne- prone, flaky and oily skin. I use this at night to cleanse my face. I just wet my face with water, pour some jojoba oil on my hands and gently rub it around my face for around a minute, then rinse with water. I then apply it in conjunction with another oil I have and in the morning my skin is softer than anything I've ever felt. I literally wake up in the morning feeling the side of my face because it is so soft. In the morning I put a tiny bit on my face to moisturize and it works throughout the day also. For the hair I will leave it on overnight and wash it through twice in the morning to get all the oils out. I use this on my brows, hair, body, lips, etc.. I really don't think there is anything I don't use it on. It is a freaking amazing oil that people should know more about!
Masks -DDF - Sulfur Therapeutic Mask [DISCONTINUED]
emmanelson96 5/5/2012 1:19:00 PM
I really love this product. I bought it from Sephora on impulse one day because I had been looking for a product with 10% sulfur. Sulfur always helps me greatly with my acne. I use this mask about once a week, along with a few other of my masks. It's great because you barely need any. The packaging says "thin layer" and that is really all you need. Plus, it only needs to be on the skin for 5-10 minutes, which is great because I hate waiting forever when doing face masks. I also use this as an overnight spot treatment. Works great for that also! I must say this mask has made my skin very soft. After every use my skin feels super clean and wonderful. I know this mask costs a lot of money, but there are also other less expensive ones just like it. All you need to do it look for in stores or online a product with 10% sulfur. Anything with that is sure to work as great as this mask does. And if you would like to know how long this mask lasts, I would say about a year or so. So a lot of product that lasts a long times makes up for the expensive factor.
I LOVE THIS! It has seriously changed my skin! My back and chest acne are going away, my face is clearing up and breaking out a lot less, maybe a one or two here and there but nothing other than that. I use it to wash my face every night, but I don't let it dry completely otherwise it would probably really dry out my skin. I do leave it on as a mask once a week or so... I also use it as a spot treatment, and it COMPLETELY clears up the pimples without them even rearing their heads! I am going to find some other products with sulfur in them because obviously this product should be used on my skin to clear it up! & other people should hear about this great sulfur and also purchase! There is one called De La Cruz and has a 10% sulfur content for spot treatment, so if anyone wants to try that they also sell it at Walgreens along with this product!
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Walgreens - Alpha Hydroxy Lotion 8%
emmanelson96 4/3/2012 10:27:00 PM
I wrote a glowing review on this before, but now that I've used it for over a month, I can honestly say that this has been horrible for me. At first it was clearing up my skin and because of the glycolic acid, making it glow. But after the first week my skin started breaking out in places that it never breaks out, especially the sides of my cheeks. So I kept using it knowing that usually the congestion must come up first. Well, it just kept getting worse and was doing nothing to help the acne I already had. I stopped using it about 2 weeks ago and my skin has gotten much better. I'm not getting any more of those deep zits on my cheeks anymore, but sadly I am still dealing with the scars of the pimples it caused. I am giving it to lippies because I like how as soon as I put it onto my skin it sunk right in, leaving no greasy residue or stickiness. It also made my skin really soft. But I would rather have acne free skin and not have to deal with this stuff. I love how this has worked for so many people, but alas, it didn't work for me.
This is a good product if you are using it in conjunction with oral antibiotics. Otherwise all it really does is make your skin purge forever and doesn't really help with the acne a bunch...
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
emmanelson96 1/17/2012 6:31:00 PM
I just don't understand why people like this product so much. I tried it on my hair, got greasiness. Tried it on my face skin, broke out. Tried it on my body, broke out. One that I am still dealing with after a month. If I use a lipstick with coconut oil in it, I get whiteheads around my lips. Wtf... the products that are always so amazing for people never work for me.
Treatments -Desert Essence - Tea Tree Oil (100% Pure Australian)
emmanelson96 1/17/2012 6:27:00 PM
This is the one product that has been added to my skincare routine, so there is no denying what has completely changed my skin. I was a little hesitant for many years to try tea tree oil because I got some form of it from the Burt's Bees line. The kind that has a little roller ball on the end and you rub it on your skin. When I used that it stung my face so bad and made it terribly red that I would cry. So fast forward about 3 years and I finally decide to buy this because of all the good things I am always hearing about it. I use it when I cleanse my face and as a nightly product. When I cleanse my face I combine this with the jojoba oil from Trader Joe's. By mixing it with the oil my face doesn't dry out as badly and there is also a less stinging affect. I also get a nice cool feeling on my face. At night I apply this to my face with the jojoba oil, Retin- A, L'Occitane moisturizer, Walnut oil and some Aquaphor on top to seal it all in. Ever since I started using this I have not had to worry about breaking out at all. I just use it to cleanse and apply it with the moisturizer at night and I am good to go. If I feel a pimple coming on for some weird reason I just use a Q- tip, dip it in some tea tree oil and put it on the zit. Gone. Simple as that. I never thought this would work so well. I think it is the fact that it is pure, 100% tea tree oil. Don't get any stuff that is mixed with other ingredients. Also, my skin is combination. Oily on the T zone and dry on the sides. I think this would work great for any skin type, just make sure to moisturize morning and night otherwise your face will dry out fairly easily and fast.
