this candle is a recent discovery and a new favorite. this actually smells a lot like lush's fig leaf soap -- a true fig scent. the throw of the soy tin candle is also incredible - one candle scents my entire two bedroom apartment. you can order these online at pacifica's website, but i've found them for a few dollars cheaper at z gallerie stores.
an average volumizing conditioner. this added less bounce and shine to my fine, color treated hair than other volumizing conditioners have. on a positive note, however, after sniffing this a few times in order to figure out what smells like, i've come to the conclusion that it smells kind of like banana cream pie. honestly. of course, i had my boyfriend smell this, too, and he said it smelled floral. go figure. $12 at drugstore.com for 11.6 ounces of product.
a pretty average volumizing shampoo - not bad, but not excellent, either. added a bit of bounce, but also left my hair feeling dry. has kind of a strange, synthetic rose smell, too. $10 for 11.6 ounces of product at drugstore.com.
Scrubs -Origins - Paradise Found Balinese Body Glow [DISCONTINUED]

i received this as a gift, and wasn't sure at first if i would like it (as it is not something i would buy for myself). i used this in the shower today, and have to say that i really do like it. don't buy this if you are looking for a heavy duty skin exfoliator - this is a very light exfoliator that's good for people with sensitive skin. it also smells very tropical, with papaya, pineapple and orange. it brings back memories of vacationing in hawaii -- sitting on the beach in 80 degree weather, slathering on sunscreen. a very pleasant thing to fantasize about, especially when my current reality is 20 degree weather in chicago.
#085 (at least, i think that's what this is called -- one of the things i dislike about mufe is that the company uses numbers instead of names for its products) is a a bright, almost shocking pink in its packaging, and a lovely cool-toned pink blush when applied with a light hand. i like this blush alot, but dislike its packaging. flimsy, easily shattered plastic, and only 2.5 g of product! by comparison, a mac blush is 6 g, and nars blushes are 4.5 g each. because there are blushes similar in quality to this one that come in a larger size for the money, i would not buy this again.
i recently experimented with this line at endo exo in chicago. the lip glosses in particular drew my attention because the colors were so lovely. i ended up purchasing the #1 gloss, which is a pinky nude color, and plan to purchase more. i've found that i like mufe's glosses much better than, say, mac's lip glasses, which i find tacky and often times unpleasant smelling/tasting.
i have this in cherry. this made my lips shiny and the smell/taste was fine, but don't use this if you are looking for something to moisturize dry winter lips. a lip balm, like kiehl's, smith's, or even plain old chapstick is much better suited to that task.
Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Energizing Citrus Moisturizing body wash

a must-try for citrus lovers. absolutely lovely and bargain priced, to boot. available at most drug stores and target.
although this gets points for being molded into the shape of a snowman, overall it was a bit of a disappointment. i couldn't detect any scent, and it hardly created any bubbles in the tub.
this is the most realistic-smelling egg nog candle i have ever come across. delicious and long lasting. even if you are not a fan of illuminations candles, this is a must try.
Bath Treatments -LUSH - Marzibain bubble bar slice

a sweet, musky scented bubble bar. made lots of big fluffly bubbles in the tub. pleasant smelling, but probably not something i'd buy again, as i'm not much of a musk fan.
another limited edition holiday item from lush. i liked this one for the following reasons: 1. it turned my bath water purple 2. it left sparkly stars floating around in my tub 3. it smelled of herbally goodness and made me relax after a long day of work and commuting.
although i liked the way this smelled (think cloves and spices), i couldn't get over the fact that this turned my bath water brown. talk about aesthetically unpleasing! gads.
a natural smelling honey with a touch of spice scent. absolutely wonderful, and CHEAP. this is the scent i reach for on cold, rainy days (like today). another gem i probably would have passed up trying were it not for the raves from my fellow muaers.
Bath Treatments -LUSH - Prince of Bathness Bath Bomb
egilsdottir 11/19/2002 11:57:00 AM
one of lush's newest bath bombs. this smells the way i wanted the feel good in the southern hemisphere bomb to smell - citrusy and uplifting. another pleasant bathing experience, courtesy of lush.
