Concealers -Revlon - Age Defying with DNA Advantage Concealer

The texture is liquidy, yet it ends up looking very thick and cakey. It's also really drying. It creases, and has light coverage so layering it only ends in more creasing. There are better concealers out there!
I bought this on sale at Sephora for $5! I LOVED it the minute I applied it!! It's full coverage, so I only needed a little to cover all my acne scars and hyper-pigmentation. It went on smooth, blended well, and left a beautiful velvet finish. It didn't emphasize any of my dry spots, which the majority of foundations do. It had great staying power as well. The only con so far was the crappy packaging that left the cap falling off all the time. I went back to Sephora THE NEXT DAY to buy two more before they sold out of my shade since they were so dirt cheap. I was ready to toss my MUFE HD in a corner. HOWEVER, over the first few days, I noticed cystic acne starting to form. I didn't mind the first three zits since my face was clear otherwise, but the more I used it, the more my skin broke out. And not just terrible cystic acne, but strange bumps along my chin and cheeks. But I was determined and used it for a few more weeks thinking my skin would adjust. It didn't and so after a month, I had to lay this foundation to rest. Now all three bottles sit in my makeup box, tempting me to just give it a try again because of how flawless it looked, but I really don't feel like waiting another month to heal my skin after. It may claim to be oil- and paraben-free, but it sure beat my skin with an ugly stick. I'm jealous of anyone who didn't break out :(
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart

This lip butter shows up a gorgeous bubblegum pink on me! It also does not have any real shimmer in it like Peach Parfait. It's quite smooth and feels much much more moisturizing than lipstick. However, the color does not seem to last too long, especially when eating or drinking. Once it comes off, it does leave a kind of stain behind. I love the color and feel so much, I'm willing to overlook the staying power issue.
It does a pretty good job at keeping oil at bay, but be careful because a little too much will leave a white cast and dry your skin out.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells

I love this trio! It makes a neutral look super easy, and the e/s are extremely pigmented and creamy. They have good lasting power as well. With its tiny price tag, this is such a steal.
Eye Shadow -Prestige - eyeshadow in Golden Retriever

I love this eyeshadow! It's a lovely gold, similar to Urban Decay's Half Baked. It has such a smooth texture and wears well. I was skeptical of Prestige e/s at first, but I was so wrong!
This was a steal at $8 (ebay) and I couldn't resist. The blushes are very powdery but they go on just fine. They've got pretty good pigmentation which I was skeptical of at first. Be sure to some kind of base though so they last. I have fun mixing and matching the different shades!
I'm torn on this one. Coverage is amazing, finish surprisingly more matte than most of the other foundations I've tried, and staying power is great. It also doesn't look too bad on my dry spots! However, it leaves me looking a little muddy. Perhaps it's my preference in finish? I could see this being fantastic for other women who don't need an extra something for some glow. It's also a bit thick so I felt like I needed to change to something less heavy-feeling, but once again some women don't mind that!
Tinted Moisturizer -Sonia Kashuk - Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 (tube)

I had been using foundation everyday for a long time, but grew tired of the heavy feeling and decided I needed a change. This TM went on so smoothly, and really makes my skin look healty/brighter. It has a decent amount of coverage but I do still dab on a little concealer on stubborn broken capillaries (though I'm sure putting on a second layer of TM in those areas would've done it). I'm also happy with the staying power when I use primer and setting spray. I have sensitive skin and surprisingly did not break out from this. My only gripe is that this catches onto and exaggerates this one extremeeeely dry patch on my face, so I have to use something else on that.
Doesn't give great coverage, doesn't have good lasting power, and doesn't look as airbrushed as you're led to believe. The mineral veil is basically cornstarch and doesn't help set my makeup. I'm sure if you're a beginner at makeup you'll like it due to its "convenience" but there are better makeup products out there so please don't settle for this. Not to mention, there are products that are actually catered to specific skin types.
Though the packaging is cumbersome, the product itself is divine! It's a truly luminescent peachy blush with great lasting power and pigmentation. It's my favorite blush as of yet, and I'm always on the search for a flattering blush. I could see this looking beautiful on all skin tones (I have tan skin).
Price - Affordable Packaging- Could be better, it really fools you into thinking you have a lot more than you do Effectiveness- It may be a heavy product, but it's just what my thick cotton ball-like hair needs! I used this in Philippines, which is extremely humid and hot and my hair did not frizz up once. It fights off frizz much better than Garnier's leave in conditioner (which I've used generous amounts of in hopes of it working). For others it might be too heavy, but it's perfect for me!
I've used many different curling mousses (i.e. Herbal Essence, Dove, Tresemme) over the years, but I always come back to this one. It holds my curls really well and helps keep frizz at bay. It does have a tendency to get a little crunchy but after two or three minutes of heat from a blow dryer, it softens right up.

I didn't have any problems with crunchiness, but my hair was still frizzy and shapeless after using this. Did not do absolutely anything for my hair.
Styling Products -Garnier - FRUCTIS Sleek and Shine - Leave-in Conditioning Cream

This product did not work that much for my thick, overly processed, and dry hair. It did de-frizz my hair slightly (not anything note-worthy) but didn't leave any shine. It kind of just made my hair feel..blah.
