Eye Shadow -Stila - Puck eye shadow [DISCONTINUED]

At first I didn't think much of Puck, and I even swapped it away. But there was something about it that sort of stuck in my mind, and I bought a new pan. Now I'm in love! It's a complicated colour that's quite difficult to explain, but there's something about it that just works so well with my pale colouring and really makes my green eyes pop. The quality is outstanding: finely milled and highly pigmented, and the colour is versatile enough to work well on its own for a more natural look or to use with other colours for a variety of effects.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose

Wonderful stuff. Pumps up the volume in my skimpy lashes whilst defining, separating, and lengthening all without caking, clumping, flaking, or any of that other bad stuff. I usually constantly switch around with mascara brands, but I'm on my third tube of this.

Scrubs -Dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant
rated 5 of 5

Oh, I've strayed. I've tried other scrubs and exfoliants. But you know what? I always end up coming back to this one. It's expensive, yes, and the pouring mechanism at the top does make it difficult to control how much comes out at a time, but you just cannot beat the results of this product. It's very gentle and doesn't irritate my dry/sensitive skin or cause breakouts, and it makes my skin feel unbelievably soft and silky. The difference in texture is visible as well- my skin looks clearer, brighter, and more even in tone with regular use. It also helps any topical treatments and moisturisers absorb better and work more effectively. You've got to try this.

Gels/Soaps -Origins - A Perfect World - Creamy Body Cleanser
rated 5 of 5

Let me start off by saying that I'm not usually all that impressed by Origins bath and shower products. Sure, they always smell quite nice, but when things cost as much as they do, I expect them to do a bit more for my skin, and the others haven't. This is different. It still smells lovely (a light, sweet apricot kernel/white tea scent that doesn't interfere with your perfume), but it also works hard. You don't get a lot of lather with this, as it's more creamy than sudsy, but it leaves your skin so squeaky clean that you might equate the feeling with dryness until you towel off and find yourself soft, fresh, and supple. I'm prone to dry skin, especially in the winter, and with this product I got immediately noticeable results in improving both the look and the feel of my skin, and when I added the matching body lotion afterward, my skin completely changed into something comfortable, perfectly soft, and healthy.

I love to slick this on wet skin right after getting out of a nighttime bath or shower before towel-drying. It's dirt cheap, effective, gentle, and I always wake up with soft skin.

Eye Makeup Remover -Johnson & Johnson - Gentle eye makeup remover pads
rated 5 of 5

Great quality at a low price. These pads are very soft, and the makeup-removing lotion on them is gentle and effective. Gets off even the heaviest mascara and eyeliner without irritating my eyes or the skin surrounding them.
