Blush -Too Faced - Flushed Blush
dnc340 4/17/2005 5:50:00 PM
I have all of these blushes and the colors are all very lovely and easy to wear for daily use and layer very nicely for a more dramatic look. Plus they have never caused breakouts on my sensitive skin. Lust to Love has the best texture, unfortunately the texture of the others seems a bit dry. You have to apply a lot to get enough color to show up, and my skin is on the fair side. I did buy mine a while ago, so maybe the texture of the older colors has improved to match that of Lust to Love, their newest shade?

Other -Bloom - Facial Blotting Tissues
dnc340 4/9/2005 5:02:00 PM
I use these often in the summer and they are one of my favorites. They blot very well, and don't leave a yucky powdery film on your face. Plus they have a pleasant faint lavender fragrance. The packaging is adorable but unfortunately tends to get flattened and crushed in my MU bag. I wish they sold these in a little plastic compact like Avon's, but that's my only complaint.

Lip Gloss -Bloom - Lip Gloss
dnc340 4/9/2005 3:35:00 PM
These are my favorite lipglosses ever, I have almost all of the colors. They have a really nice color selection, a good mix of shimmery, sheer and glossy colors to satisfy everybody. They're just sticky enough to have good lasting power, but not that yucky stickiness that makes you feel like you have jam on your lips. Over all I highly recommend!

Lips -Bloom - Aromatherapy Lip Balm
dnc340 4/9/2005 3:29:00 PM
The best part of Bloom's entire line of makeup is their lip products and these are no exception. I love them! Especially Vanilla, they all have fantastic scents and leave my lips feeling soft and smooth. The lip balm sticks are best for me, I don't like sticking my fingers in the pots.

Highlighters -Bloom - Shimmer Sticks
dnc340 4/9/2005 3:25:00 PM
I have mixed feelings about these shimmer sticks. On one hand, the quality is excellent and the colors are gorgeous. A bit limited perhaps, there are only 3 colors and two are very similar, but the colors are very pretty and look natural on your face. Fabulous knock-offs of the NARS Multiples if you ask me, the quality is definitely comparable. Unfortunately, they're ridiculously expensive (especially for Bloom!) and the packaging is absolutely horrendous. I got mine for a great price from Ebay, I'd never buy any of these from Sephora at full price. Plus, after you take the lid off and replace it a few times, the black outside of the tube starts flaking off! And then the tube looks horrible and ugly and you end up with flaky bits of black plastic in your MU bag. For the money and packaging and a better color selection, I'd say go with the NARS Multiples.

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Bloom Eyeshadow
dnc340 4/9/2005 3:14:00 PM
I have a few of the Bloom eye shadows in some of their palettes, but I don't use them very often. For the most part their eye shadows are not very pigmented and don't seem to last long without flaking off. The shimmery ones seem to do better than the matte ones for me somehow and some colors are very nice. One I really like is Chestnut, which is a nice shimmery cool brown color and seems to stay pretty well. Eskimo is also pretty and so is Sparkle, but the others just don't seem to show up much on me at all.

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Eye Colour Cream
dnc340 4/9/2005 3:05:00 PM
These are just 'all right', they tend to crease pretty quickly and the color selection just isn't that impressive. They have that nice lavender scent that the Sheer Colour Creams have, and the packaging is very cute. The only colors I really like and use often are Eskimo and Taupe, mostly just to smudge my eyeliners and add a little bit of shimmer.

Bronzers -Bloom - Aloha
dnc340 4/9/2005 3:00:00 PM
This is one my of favorite bronzers. I love it on my complexion and it really doesn't turn orangey on me at all. It's a really pretty mauve brown color that's light enough not to look 'dirty' on my fair skin.

Blush -Bloom - Sheer Color Cream
dnc340 4/9/2005 2:51:00 PM
These have a wonderful lavender fragrance and look beautiful on cheeks as a blush or as highlighters. They're a bit hard to blend, and you only need a little bit, but that's nice because a little goes a long way. Glow is my fave color, a shimmery taupe beige that looks fabulous on the browbones as well, and at the beach!

Blush -Bloom - Powder Blush
dnc340 4/9/2005 2:43:00 PM
Bloom has some of the most beautiful powder blushes ever! They all have such a smooth texture and are very finely milled with little to no shimmer. No breakouts from these for me either, I can use them every day with no complaints. Tuberose is my favorite, a gorgeous natural pink color that's perfect for every day wear. Tip: Bloom products are a little expensive here however, so try to get these from an Australian swapper!

Scrubs -BeneFit Cosmetics - Pineapple Facial Polish [DISCONTINUED]
dnc340 4/9/2005 2:02:00 PM
This scrub smells really, really good which is mostly why I buy it. I have combination skin and this does help prevent breakouts and is gentle on my skin, but other than that, it's pretty ordinary. It exfoliates well but not fantastically, and you can definitely find just as effective jojoba bead scrubs for so much cheaper at the drugstore.

Scrubs -BeneFit Cosmetics - Honey Snap Out of It Face Scrub
dnc340 4/9/2005 1:51:00 PM
This is an awesome facial scrub, I love it! Especially in the new squeeze tube! It's great as a facial scrub and as a mask as well and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth with no yucky flakes of skin. Although it does have a tendency to leave a slight film on my face after I wash it off, which is a sensation I don't like at all, I'm willing to suffer through that because of the gorgeous results I get after I use it and then apply my moisturizer. Now, I've only given this 4 lippies instead of 5 because I admit is can be a bit goopy and pasty, but I remedy that by wetting my hands with a bit of water before putting it on my face which helps it spread better. It can also be a bit abrasive, so make sure you use it only 2 or 3 times a week. BeneFit claims it's good for all skin types, but I'd recommend that ladies with sensitive skin, beware!

Cleansers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Fantasy Mint Wash
dnc340 4/9/2005 1:45:00 PM
This is one of the few BeneFit products I don't like at all. I'm glad I didn't get suckered into buying a whole tube, I asked Mimi to give me a sample which I tried once and then right away threw the rest in the trash. It was irritating to my eyes, made me sneeze and left a film on my face which I hate. I had to wash it off with soap! I don't know why they make a product that has 'soothing chamomile' which is a product I like in facial care, and then put peppermint in it! Ick! Peppermint belongs in my foot scrub, NOT in my facial wash thank you!

Treatments (Eye) -BeneFit Cosmetics - EyeCon
dnc340 4/9/2005 1:41:00 PM
I've been using this ever since BeneFit discontinued their Eye Lift and so far have been happy with the results. I find that it does brighten my eye area quite a bit and leaves the skin around my eye more moisturized. You don't have to use much so a little goes a long way. The jar is so tiny though, you have to use a Q-Tip after a while to get the product out or you waste it. UPDATE: I've been using this regularly since I first wrote this review and it is now 8/12. No signs of dark under-eye circles and my eyes definitely look refreshed! I'm still on my first jar too, so this stuff lasts. Plus, even my mom complimented me and she's hard to please!

Moisturizers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Do It Daily SPF12
dnc340 4/9/2005 1:30:00 PM
I've been using this ever since BeneFit discontinued their Daily Hyaluronic Cream and have been getting excellent results. I have combination skin that tends to be slightly oily in the T-Zone and drier on my cheeks and jawline and this light moisturizer is just perfect for me. No breakouts after using it every day straight for over 6 months, and my skin is soft and smooth. I wish this was less expensive, but when compared to other facial creams, $28 for 2.5 ounces really isn't that bad!
