Smells lovely, feels fine but I have pretty resilient skin so I never have reactions to soap. It's my standard winter body wash, it comes in a handy jumbo-sized pump bottle.

Lotions/ Creams -Crabtree & Evelyn - India Hicks Island Living Spider Lily Body Cream

I got this as a gift from a friend who worked at C&E and bought it with her staff discount. I wouldn't buy it for myself since it's so expensive and I'm a poor uni student :(. It's rich and thick, and even FEELS luxurious, the texture of soft-serve icecream - I'm tempted to eat it :P. It smells delicious too, and on my skin it smells like a wonderful your-skin-but-nicer floral vanilla. It's lovely to apply after a shower, and feels amazingly nourishing, but I don't think it's actually that much more moisturising than a no-brand glycerin/sorbolene, so -1 lippie for priciness.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Auto Waterproof Eye Definer (all)
rated 5 of 5

I am an automatic eyeliner pencil FIEND - I cannot sharpen wooden pencils for the life of me so ($$$ and heartache later) I only get these now. Rimmel Exaggerate is a bargain for its price. I've only used the black, and it's a bit tricky to get a thin line with it, but I'm a smoky eye girl (2 mm-ish thick line) so it's excellent for my purposes. It's soft enough that it doesn't drag during application, and it's one of the densest automatic blacks I've ever had. It smudges a little throughout the day and transfers a bit from upper to lower lid, but no more than any other similarly soft eyeliner pencil. At the beginning I loved the hidden sharpener under the smudge tool, but after a while it got loose and I just had an end-less eyeliner pencil. The smudge tool is worth rooting around in my handbag for though, it saves me from the nasty grey fingers. Sportsgirl has an almost-dupe with the same smudge/sharpener thing for a similar price, but it's less black and has glitter :( Beware!

Crème -MAC - Studio Tech
rated 4 of 5

I have mixed feelings about Studio Tech. I used it every day for a year (NC25, with matching Select Sheer pressed powder and NW25 Select Cover-Up concealer): - It is the BEST foundation I've ever used, in terms of colour variety (it's MAC after all :)) and coverage. It makes me look like I have flawless skin and lasts all day. - Eyeshadow and blush cling to it like magic. - It's a bit cakey if you put too much on, but you can do with less if you're careful with streaking. - My biggest problem: I used to have close-to-perfect skin, with a few pimples here and there. But during my year of daily Studio Tech, it seemed like I needed to use more and more foundation to cover up my new rough patches and red spots, which I never used to have. (I was a bit lazy with my skincare at the time, but I still used makeup remover and night cream every night.) I've stopped using foundation altogether for 2 years now, and have only just regained my original skin quality. For me, it's now a special occasion foundation, but it's definitely the first one I'll reach for. Proceed with caution and an immaculate skincare regimen.

Conditioner -Dove - Daily Treatment Conditioner, Intensive Repair
rated 5 of 5

This is definitely a HG conditioner for me! I borrowed it off a friend when I ran out of my usual stuff and was a bit confused by the cheapness since she usually has imported Japanese toiletries but it turned out to be amazing. My hair is usually a dry, overdyed mess of tangly split ends but all day my ponytail was just soft and smooth and bouncy! I immediately bought myself some the next day :D I'm undecided about the shampoo - it leaves my scalp a bit itchy (don't know if this has to do with my daily hairwashing?) - but the conditioner is liquid awesome. It's even better than the 4x more expensive in-shower oil treatment my hairdresser gave me, which used to be my HG. I will be sooo upset if they ever change the formula :(
