I couldn't ask for a better shampoo. It has worked wonders on my naturally curly, frizzy hair. I review it as well as I reviewed the Humectress conditioner-- wonderful, even smells great. It repaired my super damaged hair last summer and has kept it healthy ever since. Definately recommended.
I have long, naturally curly (fairly tight spirals) hair, and have to use a ton of mousse when I blow-dry to keep frizz down. Because of this, along with a highlight job every 3-4 months, I've had split ends since I can remember. I bought some of this conditioner in a 1L bottle along with the Therappe shampoo over a year ago. Granted, every 3rd time I shampoo, I use a different product, I've been using this regularly and am very pleased with the results. I have always alternated shampoos every 3rd wash or so, and have yet to be so pleased, and therefore am convinced it is the Nexxus line that I've switched to that has brought these results. I haven't had split ends for the last 9 months or so, and I'm telling you-- when I started using this stuff, my hair was DAMAGED! I've tried everything, and am now a faithful Nexxus user. Wonderful product, smells great, feels great, detangles, and you can even use it as a leave-in conditioner. What more can you ask for?
I bought this stuff because I needed a new cleanser. Actually, the cucumber attracted me to the product. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I've found that this stuff does not clean my face at all! I will use it in the shower, and then apply toner when I finish showering. The cotton ball is always covered with dirt when I finish. I know that toner removes residue, but I've never used a cleanser that leaves so much dirt behind. I'm very unimpressed with this cleanser, although I love other Olay products. The only plus about this product is the scent, the slight tingle, and the pump bottle. Definately not for me.

I've been using this product for about 2 weeks now, 4-5 times a week or so. I have sensitive/oily skin and I have to be somewhat sparing with the products I use. I loved the gel concept and decided to give this a try. So far, it works just fine. I love the tingle, and like any gel product, it has to soak into your skin. After it dries, my face feels great. Apply a little spf moisturizer, some bronzer, and I'm good to go. Since many products I try start off great and then start breaking me out, I will not add new products to my regimen and watch for any changes in my skin. Will post an update if I experience any negative effects.
This stuff smells aweful. I like the smell okay when I apply it, but when it dries-- OMG.. it is the worst, dirtiest smell ever! I smell like I haven't bathed in a week, seriously. The color is okay, but like most self-tanners, you have to make sure you rub it in good or you get the orangey color around your knees and ankles. If you're not careful, you will have dirty-looking feet. So, I will not purchase this again and do not recommend it to anyone, unless you enjoy both looking, and smelling DIRTY!
Blush -L'Oreal - Feel Naturale BLush [DISCONTINUED]

I will definately repurchase this, if i ever run out! I've had this compact of blush for what seems like an eternity. It looks totally natural and is satiny smooth. Suprisingly enough, the brush works fine. Great product.
This bronzer is wonderful. I've used cream bronzers and other powders, but they usually had too much shimmer in them and looked totally fake. I've used this stuff since spring and it really gives my pale skin a nice glow. I have acne prone/sensitive skin and it does not cause break outs. I agree with some users who dislike the brush, but as with most bronzers/blushes, you almost always need your own. Will definately repurchase.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss - Melonrageous

I love this stuff! I usually hate lip gloss but tried these at VS and loved them. I love the smell and taste. This one is a rich pink color in the tube but is pretty much clear when applied. I also tried the "I want candy" one and love it as well. Right now, they're 2 for $10. Go try a few!

Love this stuff! I tried some of the sweet talk ones, and they are way too sticky-- something I usually hate with lip gloss. Because of it, I usually stick to my chapstick, but I decided to give these a try at VS and loved them. I really love both the smell and taste and the feel is awesome (for a gloss). 2 for 10 right now, ladies!
Moisturizers -Clinique - Repairwear Day SPF 15 Lotion [DISCONTINUED]

I have oily skin, possibly sensitive skin (have not seen a doc, but with how finicky my skin is, this is likely) and am liking this product so far. I find the price to be a bit high, but the same is true for most Clinique products. I buy the small, 1 oz bottle and it lasts me about 6 months. I use it very lightly in the summer though, as I don't need moisturizer due to the humidity (only use it for the SPF). I pump it once, rub my fingers together, and spread it evenly over my face. It makes my skin glow and feels great on, not greasy or heavy. It also doesn't have a heavy fragrance to it, which I hate. If you don't gob it on, it will last you some time, and at $24.00 per oz, over a 6 month period, I think its definately a "go." Great product.
Smells like a diluted version of Coco Mademoiselle EDP, but at nearly the same price.
The first time I smelled this, I was in the PX mall looking at the Lancome fragrances. I sprayed some of this on, and immediately fell in love. I wanted to try it a few times more before buying, so I sprayed it on every time I was in the PX. I even convinced my best friend at the time to try it, which she, too loved it. When she broke down and bought some, I decided to as well, and loved it. I still have a small amount left in the bottle. After wearing it regularly, I found that while it is a nice fragrance, it is not for me. I let my mother smell it when I first bought it, and she, too fell in love and purchased some right away. Now it is her HG along with Cool Water (another perfume I used to love in college). The main reason I will not repurchase is because it is my mother's scent now, and the other, well, it just wasn't youthful and vibrant enough for me. However, I'm sure many out there will love this scent. It is wonderful for the right woman.
I was shopping 2 or 3 summers ago (whenever this first came out) for a new summer scent and purchased a bottle of Ralph when the lady at the counter convinced me that I would love it. It smelled okay on my wrist and I took it home. I wore it from time to time because I felt guilty about spending the money on it and not wanting to wear it. I found it far too acidic and abnoxious. I had to give it to my mother-in-law. I used to love RL fragrances, but these days I can only wear Romance. I will not repurchase this one though.
I wore this scent nearly every day for 2 or 3 years. I even convinced my best friend at the time that she should buy some, and she, too, wore it as her signature scent. I agree, as many have said, that this scent reminds me very much of VS Heavenly. I would use the luxe Heavenly lotion as a base and spray Emporio on my pulse points and my husband loved how I smelled. I can honestly say, that my husband is not typically one to comment on how I smell unless he notices I'm wearing something different or that he doesn't like what I'm wearing. However, when I wore these two scents together, he commented frequently on how good I smelled. The bottle is great for travel, but if you are like me and have several perfumes and only use this one every now and then, you may notice over time that the bottle will leak at the bottom. That is the main reason I did not repurchase. However, I miss my husband's comments on the scent, and therefore may be buying another bottle very soon. I recommend this scent to anyone who likes Armani, or who likes clean, classic fragrances.
Fragrances -Giorgio Armani - Mania (re-release 2004; beige cap, not black)
dedra40 8/27/2006 1:18:00 PM
I have always considered myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur of fragrances, and I must say that this one would definately be on my "top ten" list of all time. I cannot say enough good things about this scent. This one will be a permanent fixture in my collection. For referecne, I am partial to scents like Allure, Coco Mad, Burberry Brit, Romance, and Hugo Boss. In the VS scents, I like Body by Victoria, Amber Romance, and Strawberries & Champagne. I like many of the scents from Bath & Body Works also. This scent tops them all. It can be worn day or night, summer or winter, and has great staying power. To me, as someone else mentioned, it reminds me a bit of orange sherbet, paired with light floral and musky notes. As far as how scents react to my chemistry, I have rarely found a scent that simply smells bad on me, and therefore I consider myself lucky. However, out of anything that I've ever tried, I probably love this scent the most. The reason being: I can wear this anywhere, anytime and it is perfectly appropriate. While there are other scents I may wear out on special occasions, Mania is never too heavy or too much. It has gained my love because it is so versatile, crisp, and light-hearted. I get compliments almost any time I wear this scent. I recommend it to anyone. **A note: for those who love Armani fragrances, give Emporio a try also.
