I am truly wowed by this product! I use it exclusively for my under eyes and it has quickly replaced my Rimmel Match Perfection. I have the shade "radiant" which looks very pink but blends out to a beautiful bright light color. The consistency is quite thicker than I had expected and I love that I can dab this on and do not need anything on top. It does not crease on me and does exactly what I want it to: conceals and brightens without looking shimmery. Truly a great DS find!
To start off, Revlon nail polishes can be dirt cheap when on sale. Sometimes as low as $2.99 at Shoppers here in Can. As for this specific shade, its a very deep, dark, velvety burgundy that applies like a dream. 2 coats is perfect and the shade is very classy but vampy at the same time without being black. The formula wears very well, I've got strengthner, base coat, 2 coats of this + a top coat and there are still no chips after 3 days. Love this!
Absolutely gorgeous peachy blush with zero shimmer. I love how this blush brightens my face and blends into my skin like a dream. There is a slight fragrance that I love and is not overpowering. The packaging is ok, nothing special. Would repurchase this if I ever ran out.
Foundations -New York Color - Smooth Skin Liquid Makeup

I am soooo impressed with this foundation and I can't believe it's under $5. I'm a bit of a foundation junkie, always looking for the next best thing and trying out most new foundations that hit the market. First off, the texture of this foundation is extremely thick, like impossible to get out of the bottle thick. At first, I wasn't quite sure how in the heck I was going to get the product out. I looked around at what I had to make this work and actually ended up swapping the twist off lid on this with the lid from a Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation I had and was going to throw out. It has a long spatula like plastic thing on it that fits perfectly on this bottle and scoops the product right out of the bottle. Without this, I have no idea how anyone would ever get the product out, it's so thick! The best way to describe the consistency of this is thick and mousse like. It blends right into the skin and I have the lightest shade and it matches my skin perfectly. I do have very oily skin and do love the finish this one gives me. It's full coverage but not completely matte. I use the small Ecotools kabuki to work it into my skin and the finish looks airbrushed and slightly dewey. I wear this primarily in the colder months when my skin can handle a little extra moisture. Overall, regardless of the price, this is an excellent foundation if you can figure out how to get it out of the bottle!
The only reason I said I would not buy this again is because this is an EXACT dupe for OPI Bogota Blackberry and with all the other polishes I have, I'll never go through both bottles. As for the review, this is a gorgeous burgundy red with very subtle gold shimmer. Very classy, warm and perfect for fall. The application was perfect with 2 coats and was smooth and opaque. The only thing I do not like about CG nailpolishes are the handles, I find them "slippery" and would prefer something I could really grip as I feel the handle slip a little as I'm painting.
Eye Shadow -Joe Fresh Style - eye shadow - all colours

I'm actually quite impressed with these shadows. I have tried a cream eyeshadow as well which I did not like but the pigmentation and color selection of these is very good. They also have a good range of matte to satin to shimmers. I'll be trying more from this line as it's so affordable and easily available.
I have tried many drugstore eyeliner over the years, Maybelline, Cover Girl, Gosh, Wet n Wild, NYC, Milani, etc... None compare to the creamyness and pigmentation of this one and on top of that, it does not irritate my waterline (I'm looking at you Milani). The color is a warm bronze with gold flecks and what I love the most is that it's dark enough to be used all around the eye and you don't have to go over a million times to darken it. This truly is a drugstore gem and I will always have this in my collection.
Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

Out of all the Revlon Lip Butters, this is the one I gravitated towards as everything else seemed too in your face bright or cool toned. I absolutely love the cute packaging and the idea of these but unfortunately the shade and texture of this just did not work for me. I don't mind a bit of frostiness but this has straight forward glitter in it. Wish there were a few more warm tones in this line as alot of the "wearable" shades are way too cool for me.
Eye Shadow -L.A. Colors - 12 palette e/s in traditional
cleogirl 9/19/2012 2:58:00 PM
I was pleasantly surprised by this palette and for $1, how can you possibly go wrong? I am fair skinned with warm tones and green eyes and I have everything I need in this palette to complete a full eye look. The smell may be offputting to some people but the shadows themselves are pretty decent, especially when used with a good primer. Overall this palette is well worth the money and I would recommend for anyone looking for a neutral/warm palette to travel with.
Love love love this new line from Revlon and only hope they expand to include more shades! First saw these at Wal Mart and they really caught my eye because there are a few very interesting shades in this line. Very bizarre that this was released here in Canada before the States but hey, I'm certainly not complaining! Onto the review: This shade is a very deep olive green with shimmer and golden flecks, it is absolutely stunning and you really have to see it in person to see how beautiful it is! The formula is smooth, a bit thick but is opaque in 2 coats. I love the brush on these new polishes as they are definitely wider than Revlon's usual brushes and makes application very clean and smooth. Revlon really stepped up their game with these and the formula, brush and color of this one is comparable to a much more expensive polish! Cannot wait to try more of these!
I love everything about Ivory soap. The scent, the way it lathers, the clean look of it and most of all, the way it leaves my skin completely squeaky clean with no residue. It so reminds me of being put in the tub as a kid! I had this at our cottage recently and love how it cleans off all the sunscreen, sand, salt water, sweat, bonfire smell etc... of the day. There is no better feeling than getting into bed after a shower with this!
Conditioner -Pantene - Pantene Smooth and Sleek Conditioner
cleogirl 9/19/2012 2:19:00 PM
This conditioner is my HG hair product out of everything I use. I have very coarse, color treated hair and whenever I try another conditioner, my hair just does not look or feel the same. I have been using this consistently for years and always have this in the shower. It leaves my hair moisturized but not greasy, soft and manageable and smooth. Love it and always stock up when it goes on sale.
I have fair, warm toned skin and like others have said, this palette is cool toned. When I went into Sephora and looked at it, I thought the colors looked so pretty and that I would be able to make them work on my skin but for the most part, they do not :( I love the texture, pigmentation, the way they blend etc... even the packaging is excellent but they just don't work for my skin tone.
BB Cream -L'Oreal - Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream
cleogirl 9/19/2012 12:46:00 PM
I am fair skinned with warm tones and am very oily. The first time I put this product on my face ended up making my TZone oily even before I was done with my makeup! I powdered and went on with my day as I didn't have time to change it. Within 2 hours it oxidized and then faded away to nothing leaving my skin super oily and gross. I am so disappointed so far with these BB creams! They simply are not for oily skinned women!
I now have three of these: Moka Mirage, a purple one and a darker chocolaty brown one and I must say, I am very impressed with all three. I've been using the purple one as a wash under my taupey eyeshadows to give them a pop of plum and the dark brown one to give my bronzey smokey eyes a kick. I just purchased Moka Mirage and I think this one is going to be my favorite, it's kind of a taupe/champagne with some lavender in it. LOVE! They last all day, do not crease and are buildable.
