Blush -Tarte - Cheek Stain in Flush

Simply the best, most natural looking blush on the market. I've tried higher-end blushes and always come back to this one.

Cleansers -La Mer - Cleansing Fluid
rated 5 of 5

The HG cleanser for dry skin. Beautiful - albeit slightly fishy smelling - oil that removes all traces of makeup without drying at all. I use it at night and put it on and leave it on for a few minutes for extra moisturizing. Like most La Mer products, you don't need much, so one bottle should last 3-4 months.

Liquid -Fusion Beauty - BioActive Mineral Intuitive Soft Focus Fluid Foundation SPF10

I got this on the makeup clearance rack at Marshall's...they seem to have a lot of Fusion Beauty products, and for the price I thought I'd give it a shot. No good...kind of sparkly wierd foundation and not attractive on me. I've used Fusion Beauty with mixed reviews, I have an unused lotion and eye cream in my drawer that I'll probably never use, but I really like their "facelift firming" (whatever it is called) treatment. It's the only product in the line that I've found worth the money.

Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer
rated 4 of 5

Having dry skin, I have appreciated the rich and moisturizing texture of La Mer, especially in the winter. It isn't exactly the miracle cream that is advertised, but I do love it and will probably always have it in my drawer. I wouldn't use it if I had oily skin though, I'd try the lotion or the serums instead (the regenerating serum is AMAZING...).

Treatments -SKII - Facial Treatment Essence

Hmmm...I am not sure how much this product is helping my skin. It isn't exactly moisturizing, but I feel like it might be helping the serums and lotions that I put over it work a little better (i.e. like a softener). I think when my jar runs out, I'll see if my skin misses it, if it does, I'll repurchase and put an update here on MUA. As of right now, I am a little ambivalent about it.

Skincare - Face -Natura Bisse - Glyco peeling plus
rated 5 of 5
christina75 2/21/2011 10:17:00 PM

Very expensive, but probably the most effective product in my arsenal. My skin got a little bumpy after the first two uses, but with repeated twice weekly applications my skin has never looked better. You must follow with a good moisturizer. They recommend you use this on a 6 week on, 6 week off cycle. I would also lay off the retin-a (or use it more sparingly) during the 6 weeks you are doing the glyco peel.

Skincare - Face -Natura Bisse - Glyco Eye Cream

This eye cream is great for fading dark spots and moisturizing. I had a sun spot too close to my eye to get with a laser, and this cream has faded it over two weeks. I had been using Tri-Luma for this, which is much more expensive and for me, very drying, and this works much better. I love it so much I bought a spare tube as a back-up.

Treatments (Eye) -Cle de Peau - Cle de Peau Baume Contour des Yeux Anti-rides
rated 5 of 5

Why do the SAs at the Cle de Peau counter keep giving me samples that I then just have to have full-sized versions of? Evil, pure evil. This is the best eye cream ever for dark circles, I have bad ones, and this coupled with the Cle de Peau concealer is the magic bullet for me. Like the other reviewers noted, it does have retinol in it. Sometimes it takes a minute for your skin to adjust to retinol-based products, but my skin LOVES this eye cream (probably because it is used to retinol, I am a Retin-A Micro user as well). It is expensive, as are all Cle de Peau products, but it is a really lovely eye cream.

Concealers -Cle de Peau - Concealer - Beige

I have really terrible under eye dark circles, and I have wasted so much money on concealers in the past that either don't work or make me look older than I am. So, I just go without concealer. That is, until I discovered this! It is silky and perfect. A little bit, and my dark circles are gone! The SA applied it over the CLP anti-dark circle eye cream and the combination is perfect.
