this is a pretty good light foundation for a very good price! i picked this up for 4.99 at target. i use this to even out my skin tone under my mineral powder. i apply it with fingertips with a light hand and it almost serves as a concealer. right now its a little too light for me bc i got tanner so it does make my face look ghost like compared to the rest of my body but i might go pick up a darker shade tomorrow and mix the two. this is a great drugstore find! cheap too! Update: took this down one, ehh its not so good minimal coverage maybe nice for the beach but its a little too watered down for my taste. it sits in a drawer

Powder -Maybelline - Mineral Power Powder Foundation

I recently cleaned out my endless makeup drawer and came across this. i dont even remember why i bought it but decided to give it a try. i put this mineral powder on half of my face and elizabeth arden pure finish on the other. the coverage and look is almost exactly the same (except i probably paid about 30 bucks more for EA) i wore this around for awhile and realized its pretty good! im surprised at all the negative reviews. i use a large powder or kabuki brush to apply over moisturizer and i wet my face to make it last longer. the coverage is nice, i have a few spots and blemishes i like covered and this takes care of it! this is probably not full coverage but maybe medium? i probably will wear this for everyday and save my estee lauder and EA for special events! good drugstore find!

Ehh this is an ok product. i used it in high school and recently came across the tube again. this is a thick foundation that can be light/medium coverage. i wouldn't say its great but i never experienced breakouts with this foundation. i might try this one out again since i dont feel like spending another 40 bucks on estee lauder.

This product is terrible!!! i thought i was getting a good deal with this because it was 40% off at walgreens and i paid like 6 bucks for it but it wasnt even worth that! the color pay off is terrible u cant even tell im wearing eye shadow! i bought it in tiger eye because i thought the chocolate brown would be nice with my blue/green eyes but definitely not. Save your money and the time it takes to layer this stuff on..so disappointing!

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear 100% Mineral Facebrightener

I saw this product on closeout sale for 8 bucks. i use a lot of physicans formula bronzers so i was curious about this one. this is not a bronzer but rather a subtle bronzer/brightener. it is a gorgeous for highlighting cheek bones! i use it over my blush and bronzer and it brightens my face rather than making it look shiny or oily! love it! Update: took a lippie off. i thought this was brightening up my face but after using it a few times i realized i couldnt really see a difference. after dusting some on my arm to see if it really "brightens" i saw nothing. not quite enough shimmer which is disappointing because i thought i found the perfect highlighter that didnt make me look oily and gross.

Blush -Maybelline - Mineral Power Blush True Peach [DISCONTINUED]

Love this!! i bought the gentle pink 50% off at cvs and went back for this color. these blushes have great staying power and the color is gorgeous. ive spent hundreds on blush from mac and nars but the maybelline ones are just as good! i will never spend so much again! im unhappy they are being discontinued but other wise i may not have discovered them ! there is a nice amount of product in the container so i think it will be awhile before i run out plus i saw the new line of mineral powder blushes at cvs already so maybe they have nice colors too but nothing beats this $4 find! the peach is a pretty sheer pinky-peach , it gives a beautiful color to my cheeks that isnt too overwhelming!

Blush -Maybelline - Mineral Power Blush Gentle Pink

Ive been searching for a nice pink blush for my fair skin for awhile. Like a dummy i spent almost $100 on mac blushes. this one cost me $4 and it is far better than the mac ones! i do love mac dont get me wrong but i think the style warrior blush is breaking me out (not 100%) anyways this is a very nice pink that isn't too dark or clown like but gives a beautiful flush look. the color is definitely buildable but i tend to apply with a light hand bc it can make you look over done if you use too much. overall, excellent product for $4

Blush -MAC - On A Mission

I love going to the MAC counter lately, the blushes are so gorgeous! I kept passing this one though but after reading the reviews on MUA i decided to go over to Nordstrom and give it a try. This color looks like purple, the color of bruises thats why i stayed away. when i put it on my hand i was pleasantly surprised, the color was a gorgeous pinkish plum but more pink! after i bought it i put some on in the car and my face was instantly brighter. this is a definite keeper! hate the package though i think the gold looks cheap! update: this blush is still a beautiful color on me but i think it might be breaking my cheeks out. the other mac blushes dont so idk what is different about this one! took a lippie off

Bronzers -Lancome - Minerals Tropiques in Sunkissed

I just picked up this bronzer from Sephora. I am usually allergic to talc in makeup (gives me pimples) so this is the only bronzer in the store i could find without talc, how sad. This is a gorgeous product, it looks like ive spent a day in the sun without giving me a weird orange masky look. i dust it all over my face with a powder brush and it looks perfect! the only downside is, it is rather expensive $39 for a bronzer and it isnt a lot of product. Overall really nice bronzer! Update: for some reason this product made me break out? im not sure why especially since its supposed to be for sensitive skin. oh well back to sephora it went! im sticking to my physicans formula $10 bronzer

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear
rated 5 of 5
bwola002 6/15/2009 7:00:00 PM

Gorgeous finish! This is my favorite foundation. I've tried so many high end and drugstore foundations and estee lauder tops them all. It lasts all day even in the terrible Florida heat, and makes my face look perfect, covers the little imperfections! I have never broken out from this foundation, but the double wear powder is a different story! The first ingredient is talc, which can clog pores so stay away from the powder if you have sensitive skin. I hate that this foundation doesn't have a little pump but it gives such beautiful coverage that i can deal with it!
