Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Almond & Shea Butter
rated 1 of 5

Ugh, I hated this product. I either have awesome or terrible luck with Suave Professionals products, and this one was a no for me. Completely dried out my hair and made it tangled and frizzy, which is pretty rare. I could only stand to use it one time, so I will be donating it to a disaster relief center in hope that someone gets good use out of it.

Conditioner -Suave - Moroccan Infusion

This review is for the "shine" shampoo and conditioner for dry hair. So far, I really like this product. I have the shampoo and conditioner and I use them together. The shampoo has a nice lather, but not as many sulfates as most drugstore shampoos have, so that's nice. The conditioner is just an average texture, quite a bit of slip, and I like that. The scent took me a little while to get used to, but I actually really like it now. After showering, I use the It's a 10 leave miracle leave in and I'm getting really good results. My hair is super soft and shiny. Can't beat the price either. I'll continue to use this if I keep having these awesome results! EDIT: I'm still loving this shampoo/conditioner combo so much! I have no complaints at all. This will be making its way into my permanent haircare routine, and I'll be purchasing the bigger bottles they just came out with.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara
rated 5 of 5
brooke2010 4/10/2013 9:43:00 PM

Awesome product, oh my gosh! I am loving this mascara. It's perfect because you can choose how much volume you want. I personally like to do several coats, and it doesn't give you that spidery, clumped together look like some mascaras do. Plus, it's cheap and available everywhere. Definitely give this a try if you haven't already!

Not too bad, Garnier! This is a good moisturizer for my oily skin. It smells good, helps control shine, and makes me skin feel hydrated. I would recommend it since it's very affordable!

Conditioner -Clairol - Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship

Mixed feelings about this product. The scent is heavenly, in my opinion, but also very strong, so steer clear if you're sensitive to that. It's not really anything special besides that, to be honest. The sulfates in it dry my hair out over time, but it doesn't bother me if I'm using soft water on my hair. I guess this is one you really need to try for yourself. I keep buying it because of the scent and I only use about half the bottle before I reach for something else.

Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous - Black Cherry
rated 5 of 5
brooke2010 3/24/2013 9:50:00 PM

This is my absolute favorite dark lipstick. It's perfect for fair-skinned girls like me, it gives you such gorgeous, rich color that lasts. I always get compliments when I wear it, it's such a unique color. It's much prettier than Va Va Violet, in my opinion- that's too purple on me and washes me out. I'll stick with Black Cherry!

Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Damage Care
rated 5 of 5
brooke2010 3/24/2013 9:37:00 PM

I'm really surprised to say that this is my new favorite drugstore shampoo/conditioner! Smells so clean, extremely cheap, and doesn't dry out my hair! I love how soft and manageable my hair feels when I use it, and normally Suave products dry my hair out over time. Only thing is you need to clarify once a week or so to get rid of buildup since it is such a moisturizing shampoo. Other than that, my hair loves this product! I would recommend it to anyone who wants a salon quality product for a drugstore price.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
rated 4 of 5
brooke2010 2/25/2013 11:41:00 PM

I love this foundation! Even though the shade I bought is a shade too light, I still wear it daily. It is so easy to blend, unlike most foundations I've used. Love the coverage level and matte look, especially since I have oily skin. Also, the packaging is fabulous! Price isn't bad at all either. I will get one shade darker next time and it'll be perfect!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - One 'n Only - Hydrating Mask
rated 2 of 5
brooke2010 2/13/2013 1:58:00 AM

This is the one product in this line that I've tried that I don't care for. I am absolutely over the moon for the shampoo, conditioner, and restorative mask, but I felt the hydrating one did not do anything for me at all. In fact, the regular conditioner felt more moisturizing than this. It almost dried my hair out, strangely. Plus, I HATE the packaging. I find tubs to be very much of a hassle; I always end up getting excess water in them. I will be sticking to the restorative mask because that is one of my favorite hair products EVER.

Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - So Gorgeous Volumizing Root Mousse
rated 5 of 5

Oh my gosh. This product is my new secret weapon!! I use it in my bangs to give them a pretty swoop and it's amazing!! I notice a HUGE difference when I don't use it; my hair lays completely flat. I have absolutely zero complaints about this so far! It's cheap, smells decent, and works like a charm! I will definitely repurchase!

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - I Need a Refresh-Mint
rated 5 of 5
brooke2010 1/30/2013 4:25:00 PM

I love this shade! It's such a pretty minty color that reminds me of China Glaze's For Audrey, but for a fraction of the cost. I'm wearing it right now, paired with a pastel pink on my ring fingers, and it looks gorgeous! The brush is awesome, makes it much easier to apply. How can you go wrong with a pretty color that's so cheap?! Top it with Out the door's topcoat and you're good to go.

BB Cream -Rimmel - BB Cream Beauty Balm 9 in 1 Skin Perfecting Super Makeup
rated 5 of 5
brooke2010 1/30/2013 4:21:00 PM

I think I've found my new favorite BB cream! I had been using maybelline's dream fresh version, but I wasn't happy with how sheer it was. I have a really oily T-zone, and this really helps control the shine in that area because it's so matte. I use the lightest shade. It looks a little dark when first applied, but as time goes by, it settles and looks more natural. The packaging is also better than maybelline's for sure. Definitely recommend for girls with combo/oily or oily skin!

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)
rated 5 of 5
brooke2010 1/30/2013 4:12:00 PM

This is a REALLY good drugstore cleanser. I have been using Skinceuticals' Clarifying cleanser for about a year now, but I was tired of spending a ridiculous amount of money on it. An esthetician at my work uses this cleanser religiously and swears by it, so I figured if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for me. I was not disappointed when I bought a bottle. I use it with my clarisonic. It doesn't foam, which is good because foam usually = dryness. It makes my skin just feel really nice and clean. I haven't noticed a greater amount of breakouts than I usually get, so I'm sticking to this. Only thing I don't care for is the scent. It's like a medicinal baby powder scent or something..not the greatest, but oh well.

Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - One n' Only Argan Oil Hairspray
rated 4 of 5
brooke2010 1/30/2013 4:04:00 PM

The reason I wanted to try this hairspray is because I love the other products in the line. They make my hair so unbelievably soft. I figured I'd get the hairspray and see if I liked it. First off, the best thing about it is the scent. I usually hate all synthetic hairspray scents - don't get me started on how much I hate the L'Oreal Elnett hairspray scent- but this one smells like every other product in the line - incredible. The only thing it lacks is a really strong hold. Definitely not a "freezing" type hairspray that will really hold your hair in place- it's more of a light, finishing touch hold. Still, I prefer it to the other hairsprays I've tried.

Brows -Maybelline - Master Shape
rated 3 of 5
brooke2010 1/30/2013 4:00:00 PM

I'm really on the fence about this. I absolutely LOVE the dark brown shade. It looks far more natural than the other pencil I was using. However, this has got to be the worst packaging ever. Sharpening it is a nightmare and it always ends up uneven and goes on clumpier afterwards. I don't know if I'd buy it again because it's such a hassle; maybe I can find a brow color I really like elsewhere.
