I liked this at first, but the gardenia kills it. Too heavy, not enough softness. It would be great without the harsh notes. Too bad.

I bought this unsniffed based on the reviews, which is always hit or miss for me. I was trying to decide whether I should try Fancy or Fancy Love, and decided on Fancy Love.
I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone else point out that this smells IDENTICAL to Burberry London. Immediately upon application of Burberry London, it's way too stong, very heavy, and way too sweet. After maybe 30 minutes though, Burberry fades into a beautiful, soft, clean scent. Unfortunately, Fancy love does not. Fancy Love stays pretty much the same even a few hours later. One or two squirts of FL is more than enough. I was really hoping that after the initial syrupy sweetness faded, FL would reveal some other notes, but it did not. I like Burberry London very much. Fancy Love - not so much. It's giving me quite a headache. I like it a little, but it's certainly not worth repurchasing. I would much rather have replaced my almost empty bottle of Burberry, rather than buy a large bottle of it's sappy, big-haired twin.
Other than that, the bottle is certainly different, and I think it's cute, but ultimately, the bottle is not why we buy fragrance.
I'm going to give Fancy a try, but I'll be sure to purchase from a store nearby with a liberal return policy just in case, rather than online, where I have to go through the hassle of mailing in my return, or worse, being stuck with it.
Add on: Apparently a few people did point out the similarities between FL and Burberry. But I'm so immensely confused by some of the reviews. I see some people saying that this perfume is light, others saying it's floral, others saying it's not a sweet as some perfumes, some pointing ouot a peach scent, and I'm totally dumbfounded. This, to me, is almost Obsession sweet. I smell no peach, no floral, no subtle-ness - just super sweet, heavy syrup. I even saw someone say that Fancy was sweeter than Fancy Love. Although I haven't yet smelled Fancy, I wonder how it's possible for anything to be sweeter. Maybe I won't be trying Fancy afterall. I feel like I need to bathe in men's cologne right now to counteract the sweetness of the 2 squirts I applied 3 hours ago.
I see absolutely no glitter in this foundation. I do see a very, very slight sparkle, if I REEEALLY look closely in very bight light, but there is so little, I can hardly see it. I was hoping this foundation would be like my fave, PF Retro Glow, which has quite a bit of fine sparkle, but on it just gives a gorgeous glow to my complexion.
I do like that this foundation gives me a very slight glow without looking shiny or getting oily. It seems as though every foundation that gives me a glow also gets super oily or shiny. Somehow Photoready manages to have decent staying power and a nice satin-like finish. I would actually prefer more "glow", but that is easily acheived by adding a highlighter.
Mascara -L'Oreal - Extra Volume Collagen Mascara (waterproof)

I'm surprised this got such a low rating. It is rather clumpy, so I expected a few low ratings, but I figured more people would like it.
First, it is quite clumpy, but not in the unmanageable, spider/raccoon, huge globs sort of way. More like in a fiber, instant volume sort of way. I only need one coat, and that is what I like, with other mascaras, I'm literally sitting there for 10 minutes or more, applying, waiting 'til it dries, reapplying, waiting some more.......... just to get a little volume.
This is one of the few mascaras I'm actually going to repurchase. It does seem to get dry and flake after a while, but it takes almost all day, so it's not a big problem.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Tutti Dolci Creme Brulee edt

This is one of my favorite scents. It's a nice, sweet caramel vanilla scent. I think the lasting power is pretty good. I hate that B&BW discontinued it. I really miss the Tutti Dolci line. :( Luckily, I stocked up when you could still get this fairly cheap on ebay. Now, there's not much left, and the prices are pretty high.
Skincare - Body -Yves Rocher - Lait Veloute Silky Body Lotion in Coconut
bobbictx 7/11/2009 12:13:00 PM
I bought several bottle of this because I love their coconut perfume. However, this lotion sucks. It doesn't have a coconut scent, and there's barely any scent at all. It's not moisturizing at all, either.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes - Fine Wink [DISCONTINUED]

Bought because of the reviews & I'm unimpressed. The color barely shows up on me, but when it does, it's very frosty and pale. I was hoping it would add some color, but instead it takes away. Almost looks white on my lids.
This color is sooo pretty, but WAY too orange. However, lightly latered over a brown, black, or any other dark color, it looks very nice. Will repurchase.
When I first smelled this I had to have it. It's very floral, and I loved it at first. It's still okay, but there are just so many scents out there that are so much better. This one is pretty unoriginal. When a friend of mine wore Be Delicious, which I detest, I noticed that it smells a lot like this one. That ruined it for me. Won't be buying this again.
I said I'd repurchase but I'm not sure. I do like this scent a lot, and I'm down to my last few drops, but I like the original Pleasures much, much better. This is sort of unoriginal, while it is a nice fresh, floral scent, but I probably would not repurchase unless I found a bottle super cheap.
I so like this scent, but there is a note in it that I don't like. I think it's the mango. I like mango, but the mango in this is too sour or sharp, and not sweet enough. I like to wear this sometimes, but not a lot. When I do wear it, I layer with a sweet scent, usually vanilla, since that is what it seems to be missing. Probably will not repurchase since I've had my 1.7 oz bottle for well over 3 years now and it's still half full.
I like this scent very much. I have 2 bottles of it. It's fruity, and sweet, and great for going out or clubbing. I've recieved many compliments when wearing this. It has pretty good staying power as well. The bottle is pretty, but GAWD does it fall over a lot. So annoying! Will repurchase.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Wild Honeysuckle EDT

I LOVE this scent. It's such a nice, fresh floral scent. Very comforting and great for a spring or summer day. Many honeysuckle scents smell somewhat fake, but this one is very nice. Best honeysuckle scent ever. I don't smell much sweetness to it, and real honeysuckles actually smell kind of sweet and soft, but I still love it. Definitely need to have this in my stash, so yes, I will repurchase.

I am soooo confused by the raves about this. I'm convinced I must have gotten a bad or rancid bottle or something. I'm not really *that* picky about scents, if it's sweet, but not too sweet, I'll probably like it. Even if I don't like it much, it's unlikely that I'd hate it.
That said, this stuff is awful. I got the roll on bottle, it was about $7 or so, and I had to pay another $6 for shipping, all for .75 oz of very sticky oil. When I put it on, it smells almost like bologna. After it fades some, it smells VERY similar to that generic Giorgio perfume that everyone wore in middle school in the late 80's. Then there's a VERY SLIGHT musk scent hiding under the cheapness. I was expecting a sweet, musky sandalwood type scent, and I couldn't wait for it to arrive after the reviews, but I'm soooo disappointed.
I don't know if I should see if I can return this to drugstore.com, or throw it away, or what. And the oil is soo thick and sticky. Almost gummy even.
I don't get it.
this is pretty good. Can't compare to UDPP b/c I've never tried UDPP. I think the trick w/ this is to apply your shadow while the primer is still a bit damp? Which is actually almost impossible b/c it dries fast. Mixing with a bit of a foundation/facial primer to this helps w/ the dry/thick problem. You definitely have to apply this lightly, it can be cakey if applied too thick. What I also like about this is that I can use it as a lipstick primer, I think it's similar to the Laura Gellar Lip Spackle, it works very well as a lip primer. Again, it should be applied lightly.
