Eye Shadow -Everyday Minerals - Rare Silk
bellaplutt 10/2/2009 2:02:00 PM
I received this as one of 4 extra samples with my last order, and I love it! I also got Wildflowers Eyeshadow and those 2 complement each other perfectly! Thanks Everyday!! :) I use Rare Silk on my whole lid and Wildflowers in the crease, a perfect everyday look that looks polished and pretty! Rare Silk is a light beige-grey that makes a great matte base

Lips -Eyeko - Strawberry Fat Balm
bellaplutt 10/2/2009 12:52:00 PM
Am on my second one of these... The first one was a bit darker and looked scary on me being quite pale. The second one I bought this spring and it's a gorgeous cherry red, red(-pink) and smells lovely of strawberry! It also conditions your lips so it's pretty great!

Fragrances -Crazylibellule and The Poppies - Ananas Imperial
bellaplutt 9/25/2009 11:34:00 AM
It's not very strong, but fresh. I can smell pineapple and a woody scent, maybe it's the cedar or musk. It's not extremely fruity, I would have liked it a bit better had it been more fruity. Still, it's worth trying! Edit: Mixing Ananas Imperial with Lilas Spiritual makes the most lovely gorgeous scent that actually stays for a while on your skin!

Fragrances -Crazylibellule and The Poppies - Lilas Spiritual
bellaplutt 9/25/2009 11:21:00 AM
It's so gorgeous!! It smells so genuine! It's a very fresh intense lilac scent, that mellows a bit after a while on the skin, but lasts pretty okay still. It smells mostly of lilac and lily of the valley, lovely! Like the packaging, and am surprised how longlasting the scent of sticks are! Edit: Mixing Ananas Imperial with Lilas Spiritual makes the most lovely gorgeous scent that actually stays for a while on your skin!

Fragrances -Crazylibellule and The Poppies - Musc and Patchouli
bellaplutt 9/25/2009 11:19:00 AM
Smells pretty strong of woody patchouli at first, but after a couple of hours (it lasts long!) it turns into an almost vanilla-y smell on me! Although it's not my favourite of the ones I've tried, it's still good, and if you like woody musky scents, try this one!

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
bellaplutt 6/21/2009 9:27:00 AM
I bought a mini-kit containing this, toner and cleanser for combination skin. I have pretty dry skin but have been getting breakouts so ok, I thought it could be nice to try something new. Tried the 3-step routine for a couple of days, then I checked the ingredients on the products. God, how can they charge so much for basic crap ingredients?? The cleanser's main ingredient is Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is basically a soap detergent - drying out your face. The toner contains a lot of alcohol which isn't particularly good either, especially not for drier skin. It stung my face like crazy! And if you have oily skin and use alcohol it might just make your skin produce more oil to balance it up. And last, the moisturiser's main ingredient is Petrolatum/Mineral oil. I haven't seen this in a while in a moisturiser so I was shocked! And especially in a product from a renowned skincare company?!! Scary!! Sure, lotions and lip balms containing petroleum by-products may feel nice to use, but since they make your skin unable to produce moisture on it's own, what will happen if you use it for some time? I'm disappointed, that's all I can say and my quest for something suiting my skin will go on.

Fragrances -LUSH - B Never Love Perfume
bellaplutt 4/21/2009 10:53:00 AM
Love Smells lovely apple-cinnamon at first, then it turns a bit chemical as a lot of the B perfumes do Okay though, and definitely different. Doubt I'd buy anything but the sample size though since it's expensive and pretty weird on me. Worth trying because it might be great with a specific body chemistry! edit: after an hour or so, the scent fades almost completely leaving behind a tiny scent of old ladies underwear, real crap! baad!!

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Floating Island
bellaplutt 4/16/2009 7:09:00 AM
I love this! It smells of erasers I used to collect when I was a kid :) Sweet, soft and vanilla. It makes your skin very soft and nice-smelling. It smells of sandalwood and vanilla with a tiny bit of lemon to make it fresh. It cocktails super with english countryside ballistic, then it feels like the middle of July! :)

Moisturizers -LUSH - Skin Nanny
bellaplutt 4/16/2009 7:07:00 AM
This is Lush's most nourishing cream. It's almost like Vaseline on your skin when you first apply it, but if you have really dry skin, it sinks in and makes your skin unbelievably soft... I use it as a night cream even though it has SPF 30 in it. However, the sunscreen Lush use in their products is derived from cinnamon and other plants, so it's not supposed to be bad for your skin to use it as a night cream. But I can agree that it feels a bit unnecessary with SPF in a night cream. It is paraben-free, and I guess it's great for people with either really dry or sunsensitive skin to use in daytime, or super if you're out and about in all kinds of weather since it sort of works as a shield for your face - protects against rain, snow, wind, sun. Anyways, it's the only thing that works on the dry patches I have on my cheeks...

Fragrances -LUSH - Honey I Washed the Kids Solid Perfume
bellaplutt 4/16/2009 7:01:00 AM
This is a sweet smell that I (although I mostly like fresh citrussy smells) love! It's very sweet, smelling like buttertoffee but it has some orange oils and bergamot in it to keep it from smelling sickly sweet. The scent of toffee is supposed to make you feel smart and you feel comforted by this little fella :)

Fragrances -LUSH - Olive Branch Solid Perfume [DISCONTINUED]
bellaplutt 4/16/2009 6:57:00 AM
This is my favourite of the Lush Solid Perfumes. I like fresh smells mostly although I like vanilla and sweet smells on occasion :) This is a lot of bergamot and almost a bit of musk, which makes it settle down fresh and soft on your skin. It's a good idea to make solid perfumes, because they're very easy to bring and to use among other people since there's no need for spraying :) However the tiny little tins have a tendency to disappear...

Fragrances -LUSH - B Never too Busy to Be Beautiful-B Scent
bellaplutt 4/16/2009 6:55:00 AM
I think this is my favourite of the B perfumes I've tried so far (curious about the Superworld Unknown so I'll wait impatiently for it to come in a sample size). I loved it in the B Scent Electro soap we sold at Lush, so fresh and cool! It smells a lot of grapefruits but with an edge that is a bit spicy (fennel) and is rounded off by the rose and jasmine and softened by sandalwood. Unfortunately I think it's pretty expensive, and although it's very strong at first, it doesn't last long enough for the price to be okay.

Blush -Everyday Minerals - Champagne
bellaplutt 4/16/2009 6:49:00 AM
I bought a sample of this because I'm trying to switch from my very pretty but not so nice mineral makeup that contains both bismuth and triclosan! So I thought of mixing a tiny amount of this in the EM base of my shade (I've tried Fairly Light and Golden Fair so far) to get the shine you otherwise get from the bismuth. Otherwise it works perfectly as a highlighter, but as another reviewer said, you get a ot of shimmer so be gentle on the hand... :)

Lip Gloss -Everyday Minerals - Cozy Night Lip Gloss
bellaplutt 4/16/2009 6:45:00 AM
I got this as a free product on my first Everyday Minerals order, which pretty much balances out the custom fees I had to pay :( (I live in Sweden) I love the colour and the format! I never look good in reddish colours, since I am sort of pale and pinkish and reds just make me look plump and 80's in a really non-cool way. This however is a soft reddish-brown light colour which just enhances my lipcolour brilliantly! And the formula makes my lips extremely soft as well, it's like a lip balm with colour. Try it if you're curious, I am really happy I received a free sample, since I might not have gone for this colour otherwise! Thanks EM!
