Loose Powders -Palladio - Rice Powder Loose Natural

if you have oily skin, you HAVE to try this out. i got it for $4.99 at ulta. it comes with a LOT of powder and you only need a little. i use this as a setting powder all over my face, and it keeps my oily nose under control for a while. (i have an EXTREMELY oily nose.) i press this on my face using too faced powder pouf brush, i don't really like "blending" it onto my skin because i feel like it rubs off some of my foundation. (estee lauder double wear.) this kind of smells like baby powder which i don't really mind because the scent goes away after a while. the packagaing is awful omg. it's literally like a cardboard box with a lid that automatically just pops off. do not use this for travel/throwing in your purse. i actually use maybelline dream matte powder for touchups throughout the day, and both powders put together do not cake up. when you first purchase, you have to actually poke holes in the inside so the powder comes out. do not poke all of them. it will be messy. i usually flip this upside down, then back up and get the powder from the cap that's leftover when i flipped it. i had to take a lipstick off for the awful packaging. but overall, if you have oily skin try this. there's not much to lose, for $4.99, and you get ALOT of product AND a little goes a long way.
this REALLY is a heavy duty concealer! it does not feel heavy although it is really thick. i use this over estee lauder double wear foundation. i only use one layer of the EL DW, but my acne scarring still shows through so i use this over to completely conceal and give me a full coverage finish. i set it with paladdio rice powder. it lasts almost all my day, my scarring shows a bit as the day goes but it still lasts and does not completely come off, so thats good. this is also good as an undereye concealer! my dark circles arent that bad so i use a sheer layer, and it completely conceals. im so glad this is $6. plus A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY ! i use two small dots on both of cheeks, then a dot on my chin and forehead (yup i have acne scarring pretty much all over.) and it completely conceals. i know this will last a long time. definitley recommend. if you have super super dark circles/scarring/tattoos you might need to do some layering. overall, i recommend. i dont use the pencil it comes with.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

i love it. it does the job. the scent isnt so strong and really difficult to describe. the balm itself appears to be a very deep red but swatched and applied there is no tint left. so i find it weird people complaining about how there's no color when no where on the tube says it's supposed to be a tinted lip balm... the packaging itself is sorta cheap, just a pop off cap and you can twist the balm up and down. it leaves a slight shine after applied. my lips always feel moisturized with this on. definitley repurchase.
Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15

my derm gave me a sample of this and i'm loving it. its great at making my combo skin feel hydrated, and not greasy. the spf 15 is great, and doesn't smell like sunscreen. i actually don't notice any fragrance. the moisturizer is pretty light but good at moisturizing so it's perfect for everyday. it does not bother my oily, acne-prone skin. i got it for a little over $11 at target which is sort of "pricey" for a drugstore product, but if it gets the job done than i'm fine with it.
although im not a fan of bar soaps, this is most likely my HG facial cleanser. it removes most/all makeup (revlon colorstay foundation!) and makes my face feel super clean. i dont notice any kind of fragrance. i love using it along with cold water... it just wakes you up while feeling super clean! this does not leave any residue after splashing it off. i have oily acne prone skin and this gets along with my skintype fairly. as a body bar soap, it gets the job done as well and makes you feel clean. i love this. super affordable.
um does nyx mis-label their products? based on reviews, pics, and swatches, silky rose looked like a warm pink/rosey color... MINE on the other hand is pink/beige... poorly pigmented but very powdery. i could barely swatch. idk, i was excited since it was my first nyx blush. it was $6.99.
yes its a unique shape for a blush brush but it applies blush, bronzer, highligher, and even liquid foundation amazing. the hairs are super soft. its very easy to use. i have no complaints and this is my HG blush brush which ive repurchased many times. the one con i can think of is that these brushes are hit & miss... sometimes they shed like crazy and break within the first wash and usage. but other times they DONT shed at all until after a few months with constant washes. everyone should try this, for $3.
a soft flat top synthetic brush... the perfect stippling brush for liquid foundation. i wonder why this is called a powder brush bc ive tried applying maybelline dream matte powder which this and it was just weird and awkward. the brush doesnt shed until after a few months of constant washing. for $3, thats okay and id be happy to repurchase. its very easy to handle and stipple/apply foundation, i use this with revlon colorstay. i think the only con would be on SOME brushes (ive repurchased 5+ times) the hairs can feel scratchy, and starts to shed easily. but on some the hairs are perfect. so its a hit & miss.
VERY pigmented... maybe a little too pigmented lol. this is a very warm pink, maybe even "hot pink" in the pan. applied to my nw25 skin, it's a bright pink. i like mixing it with benefit hoola bronzer. when using your brush in the pan, powder flies out and might make a mess. but to me, it wasn't much of a big deal. it lasts a long time on my face and i recommend not reapplying throughout the day because of its strong pigmentation. i got this for $2.99 at cvs... it's such a great deal on an amazing, long lasting smooth pigmented blush. i recommend this to anyone. i think there are two other shades and i definitley want to pick those up sometime soon. there is no fragrance. i have acne prone skin and this did NOT break me out. the only con would probably be the cheap plastic clear packaging... but it can be dealt with.
i love how dark this makes my lashes look, and really does VOLUMIZE my barely-there thin lashes. it really thickens, which i love. i find this mascara more on the wet side, and can make mistakes easily when applying. it does take time for it to dry but it doesn't smudge all over your eye area. if you have short thin lashes like mine, definitley dry this out. i love curling my lashes before AND after, it makes my lashes look super long and it does hold a curl.
uhh... NOT a stain. its too easy to remove this with a little tissue. it dries matte, and it IS drying. horrible.
ehhh... pretty decent mascara. nothing dramatic. its does darken and add some volume and length. doesnt hold a curl. smudges easily. its really annoying wiping the smudges under my eyes. no smell and is easy to wash off. the brush is small and coned shape. i dont regret buying it because ive been wanting to try it but WONT repurchase.
Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

i have an oily tzone, ESPECIALLY on my nose. ive experienced with so many powders in the past, mostly more expensive, and they just didnt keep me matte as long as dream matte. ive read reviews about this powder, and it really convinced me to purchase it for just a lil more than $6 at wal mart! there is no coverage at all. i use this as a setting & touch up powder over revlon colorstay foundation. its not cakey AT ALL, keep touching up all day long and it will not look cakey. its very lightweight, soft and "dreamy", as the name says. to apply, i use too faced powder poof brush and its just perfection. the only con would be the packaging, its easy to access the actual powder but i find it difficult to swerve the mirror compartment out. not much of a big deal. this keeps me pretty matte for over an hour, which is good for me because my nose is just too overly oily. every oil skinned girl needs to try this, it doesnt hurt. price ranges may vary at different drugstores but i got mine for a little over $6 at walmart. i believe theres only 4-5 shades, which i dont think is a big deal because this is technically a transparent powder since theres no coverage. but i have this in beige medium 2-2.5, and in nw25.
i have the original, unscented/flavored balm. its really similiar to niveas a kiss of smoothness, but its way more moisturizing. i cant wait to get the tinted versions of these! they are VERY moisturizing, not waxy or gross, and i might consider this a dupe for fresh's sugar lip treatment because they feel the same on the lips and moisturize just as great. EDIT: okay i changed my mind. i wore this out to go shopping and it doesnt last a long time. when it dries up it feels like theres little chunks on your lips, yuck. but when first applied it feels really smooth. i changed this from a 5 to a 3.
although this is a beautiful light brown that can be an all over lid color, there is just way too much GLITTER FALLOUT. that is a major con at least for me. i got this with my book of shadows four and this just stood out the most for me because of the glitter fallout so i had to write a review. i guess its easy to wipe off the glitter on your cheeks but its just annoying.
