This is a lovely romantic wear every day shadow. The colors (unlike other NARS shadows) are not over the top and completely feminine and sweet. They make my hazel eyes look bedroomy and lovely. I am more than satisfied. I found the purply side to go on like the colr of a bosenberry and then the gold wash over it was just perfect! TtHERE IS NOT TOO MUCH SHIMMER EITHER -- JUST ENOUGH!

I don't know why people are having trouble with this blush showing up. I am a GGG NC30 in the winter and am very tanned right now and it shows up quite nicely with one application! I LOVE it -- it is now my HG and I find I use it all the time. I would definitely describe it as a pink brown but the brown is subtle -- more fleshtone brownish. Beautiful and natural! Addendum: I was so wrong -- I made up with a smoky eye and wanted a toned down cheek well even with my iron hand I could only get this to show slightly and it actually made my cheek look kind of dirty.

I am sorry to get to this so late but I was going through my make up recently and refound this. This is a dark taupe grey with subtle shimmer (sorry other reviewers I see no brown). I used to wear this all the time and now that I have found it again I will again. This dark but could be worn by any color. I am a GGG with hazel eyes fyi. No longer available -- was a holiday lmtd ed.

I am a GGG/Hazel eyed lass and this color looks fab on me. As everyone else says it is so hard to describe. It looks like a frosty rust sort of in the tube but on it is almost a neutral sheer tawny color with just the right amount of frost which is subtle. Understated gorgeousnews for your lips. I reach for this often and it looks good on me Summer or Winter!

Fragrances -Gres - Cabochard

I was given this as a gift in the early 70's and used it up -- really loving it all the time. I recently put it on my swap list and got another bottle and fell in love all over again. There is no other scent like this -- very unique old fashioned and modern at the same time. I wear it to bed at night sometimes because I enjoy it so much. I will never be without my Cabochard (means stubborn in French I am told).

I bought this because of the reviews that it goes with hazel eyes and I have not been disappointed! I layered this with the pinker side underneath and the warmer over and it made my eyes (hazel) look so rich and gorgeous! Beautiful with depth and flattering to hazel eys -- I will never be without this shadow! It is not over the top either just downright gorgeous!

Lips -Fyrinnae - Devil Horns

Got this as a mini (a mini is tons) and I really love it. It has nice but not sickening flavor which dissapates quickly. I like the very different consistency -- almost like a gel but not quite and the color is gorgeous -- a red with a golden metallic overlay -- I am going to buy this in full size and try some others.

Grind up childrens orange chalk and you have this blush. Orange in the pot actually goes on kind of bright pink (probably due to my own skin) -- so many more pretty peach blushes out there that are so much easier to use.

Recently swore off loose powder makeup and then thought I'd try this line and purchased a bunch of samples this one included. I now remember why I swore them off. This, however, is an exception - beautiful gold with subtle glitter.

Recently swore off loose powder makeup and then thought I'd try this line and purchased a bunch of samples this one included. I now remember why I swore them off. This is very matte (and it's not supposed to be) ho hum tan brown shadow. You can see the teensy glitter when looking at it but not on the eye (yes, I patted it on)! It's on my swap list if you are interested.

Recently swore off loose powder makeup and then thought I'd try this line and purchased a bunch of samples this one included. I now remember why I swore them off. This is an OK purple but MAC Trax is so much richer, prettier and far less messy (yes, I patted it on)! It's on my swap list if you are interested.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Hypnotizing (Love Lace LE)

I saw all the reviews and looked at the swatches and HAD to have this! What a total disappointment -- I gave it an extra point because I know it would look good on someone fair. IMHO this is a VERY shimmery light smoky lavender and looked on my eyes nothing like in the pot. It came across on my lids as almost metallic. Going back but as I said it would be pretty on someone quite fair.
