Lipstick -MAC - Cute-ster [DISCONTINUED]
amaiaisabella 1/17/2011 6:43:00 PM
My absolute favorite lipstick in the world, so much so that I just paid an insane amount of money for a second tube, since I didn't snatch more up when the collection was released. I have no color to my lips, so this provides a lovely light pink glossy shade that goes great with dark eye makeup or with a natural look for work/school. A+ and I wish MAC would release it again :(

Moisturizers -Ponds - Dry Skin Cream
amaiaisabella 1/2/2011 7:34:00 PM
I hadn't quite thought about it, but I always tend to go back to this. It's reliable, extremely moisturizing, and doesn't make me red or break out. I tend to vary between this and my other Vichy moisturizer, as too much can sometimes clog my skin. I mostly stick to using this at night, and only using a little bit, and that seems to work for me. You can't ask for a cheaper moisturizer, especially for the huge amount you get- and considering how little I use, it'll last forever. However, when it invariably does run out, I'll purchase again for sure.

Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Vickery & Clarke Intensive Moisture Lip Balm
amaiaisabella 12/28/2010 12:24:00 PM
LOVE this stuff. It just melts into the lips and gives true moisture rather than providing a waxy coating. I prefer clear balms over tinted as tinted balms can bleed over the lipline and look unnatural. The taste is yummy as well, a natural cocoa butter taste without the mess of using regular cocoa butter. I received a few of these for Christmas and will have to stock up. These are so cheap- but are worth so much more! A+.

Fragrances -Givenchy - Play for Her
amaiaisabella 12/25/2010 9:19:00 AM
Love this! Just received for Christmas. On me, it's a musky amber chocolate scent, sort of a lighter version of Ange ou Demon from the same line, but a bit more sweet. Dries down to a lovely sweet musk scent. A+!

Cleansers -Sukí - Suki Naturals - Moisture Rich Cleansing Lotion
amaiaisabella 12/19/2010 10:23:00 PM
Man, is this stuff expensive, but totally worth it. Never has my skin actually felt BETTER after cleansing- usually it's dry and tight before it sorts itself out. This cleanser takes off any foundation I'm wearing as well as my mascara, but leaves my skin feeling moist, balanced, and even toned. Total love.

Clothes -Victoria's Secret - General Opinion
amaiaisabella 12/12/2010 7:07:00 PM
I really like VS's shirts and cotton panties, but am kinda meh on the rest of their lingerie. Their clothing sizing is off, so I've gotten pants that are fitted, and others I could swim in. There are some pretty great sales and I get VS Angel points whenever I buy, so it's easy to get some great deals.

Fragrances -Keiko Mecheri - Peau de Peche

Very pretty! I don't really get that sweet, musky peach, but more a pure fruity peach juice, if that makes sense. Very light and uplifting, and unoffensive enough for day.

Concealers -Bonne Bell - My Style
amaiaisabella 10/23/2010 4:15:00 PM
Looooove this stuff. I like that it has the brush to squeeze out, though I usually end up applying with my fingers or a concealer brush. I'm super pale so the light shade fits me fine. What I like most is that it effortlessly blends into the skin rather than sitting on top like most concealers. I could wear this alone or with foundation. Great on all counts, and super cheap! With my luck, this will be discontinued...

Other -Bath and Body Works - Essential Oil Blends- Spearmint
amaiaisabella 10/14/2010 7:43:00 PM
Very lovely, clean, and comforting. I've never tried B&BW's essential oils before, I hope this is the right section to post the review as mine is a home oil. It throws quite well and the bottle is large enough, so it should last a while. Will definitely have to try more scents for the oil burner!

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Water Blossom Ivy Body Splash
amaiaisabella 10/14/2010 7:33:00 PM
I cannot believe this scent comes from Bath 7 Body Works. Beautiful, light, classic floral, this scent makes me feel instantly clean, refreshed, and pretty. I bought this during the recent B&BW sale, and I'm definitely going to pick up more bottles. I don't care if I have to spray every 5 minutes, this scent is perfection.

Lip Gloss -Mary Kay - Mk Signature NouriShine
amaiaisabella 10/14/2010 8:32:00 AM
Love this product. I have it in Coral and it is the perfect gloss. It languished for a while in my makeup bag, but I noticed recently that I consistently reached for it for moisture, shine, and a continuous color payoff- the initial gloss fades to a stain over time. Great, natural color, and I'm happy to be receiving one more in a swap- then I'll be buying more on Ebay for sure!

Masks -Mario Badescu - silver powder
amaiaisabella 10/10/2010 10:12:00 AM
Man, do I love this stuff. I had a heck of a time getting it off when I used it as a mask, though. No matter how much toner I used, I still had a white film on my face. I find much better results using this as a spot treatment. I get a lot of clogged pores since I have oily but sensitve skin, and this clears them up without leaving me red and irritated. I either spot treat overnight or for half an hour during the day, wet a washcloth, and leave that over my face for a bit before wiping away. Pimples, if I have some, are reduced and no longer red, and clogged pores look clearer. A+.

Liquid -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20 (2009 formulation)
amaiaisabella 10/3/2010 12:55:00 PM
The only downside to this product is a bottle. Would it kill some companies to embrace the squeeze-tube? That aside, this is the perfect foundation for me. I'm very fair, so most foundations either look like clown makeup or make me resemble a ghost. Even the ones I can find a close enough shade to are thick and hard to blend (Chanel's Teint Innocence, I'm looking at you!) This is the perfect alternative. Very light and sheer, but I can dab it for more heavy coverage. Better still, when I'm in the sun it just looks as if I have great skin. Not sure as to the claims of it improving my skin, but even if it doesn't, I've found my new foundation. Very satisfied.

Hair Color -Clairol - Natural Instincts in 35 Ebony Mocha (Brown/Black)
amaiaisabella 9/23/2010 4:40:00 PM
Beautiful, beautiful color. I left this on a little longer than I should have, almost 20 minutes, so it was practically ink black at first. A few good washings later, and it's right where I want it to be: a deep chocolate brown, black in some lights, with a bit of reddish tint that is probably from my previous light brown red color. I had to use two boxes to cover all my hair, and it's pretty fine and only to my armpits, so that's a negative. I would definitely recommend more product in the package. Try to wait for a coupon and it's not so bad a price. Would purchase again should it fade too much.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Wet Shine lipstick
amaiaisabella 9/18/2010 12:30:00 PM
Love this stuff. I've been hoarding an almost empty stick for years, but I finally bit the bullet and got two tubes off Ebay since it is sadly discontinued. My shade is Strawberry Ice. Goes on smoothly, doesn't crack, and leaves a nice reddish stain behind when it wears off, almost like I was eating a strawberry popsicle. Love!
