As for many other reviewers, this was one my first foundations. I did not have any major skin issues in my teens and early 20s, so I was using just concealer and powder. My skin was absolutely not dry at the time - more combination to oily, but this made me look super dry and flaky... The colour was ok, application easy, but the finish horrible. Dry flakes all over my skin. I would recommend it only to people on budget with oily skin, who use scrub every other day... Otherwise it cannot work. There are plenty other and much better products in this price category.
Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Travel Essentials set

These were my first RT brushes (now i have 2 stippling ones and one blush brush too). I was positively surprised by the quality! 1. Domed shadow brush - i dont use it for eyeshadows - it doesnt pick up the product well, i still stick to my MAC 217; but its is perfect for undereye concealer. 2. Multitask brush - I use it for blush/bronzer and couldnt be happier about that. I didnt like it for powder though. 3. Flat foundation brush - i dont use it at all so far, its just a question of personal preference, but i dont like "painting" on my foundation, i like to stipple - its faster and much more effective. I still keep this brush in my collection though thinking i might need it one day for covering larger areas with concealer for example.

This brush is of an extraordinary quality for the price! I already have two of those to alter them. It has become my only foundation/tinten moisturizer/BB cream brush and it is not comparable to the MAC ones, which are not dense and soft enough. I just stipple the foundation on like 5 spots on my face - cheecks, chin, forehead, nose and then i do some circular movemenst with the brush and within seconds the product becomes completely in synergy with the skin leaving a beautiful natural finish. I couldnt ask for more.

I am super happy with this brush, I already owned the RT Travel Set and two Stippling brushes when i bought it. I was searching for a soft powder brush for the fixing powder and i found it! I also tried using the Blush Brush with powder blush but it didnt work for me, the brush is not dense enough for it. (For blush i use the Multitask brush from the RT Travel Set) The first day it shedded a bit as the only one RT brush I have, but just like 3 hairs.
I bought this Stila rouge pot just because of the pot :-) I love the Stila packaging. Well, the blush itself was not easy for me to apply, it hardly look natural. I like more powder formulas. It was one of the very few not-powder blushes I have ever bough.
The unusual brush/comb just didnt work out for me. After some time i learned how to apply it but still in the end I ended up using an old clean regular mascara brush to comb the lashes trough to get rid of the clumps. On the other hand, it stayed put all day and didnt fall off.
Treatments -Bioderma - Hydrabio Serum for very dehydrated and sensitive skins
alousek 10/29/2012 9:34:00 AM
I didnt like this serum at all. I didnt find it hydrating at all and it felt a bit sticky on the skin - a sticky feeling without any effect. I used it up as a handcream actually.
I like this lip balm, it smells very nice and stays on the lips for a very long time, hours for sure if you dont eat much... It is hydrating and prevents the lips from being dry. Not sure if I like the matte effect it makes on the lips - dont use a lipstick usually so I dont mind a bit of shine... It feels a tiny bit sticky maybe as well. But overall a very good product, a lot of product in the jar, it is going to last me for ages!
Foundations -Christian Dior - Nude Compact Gel - Natural Glow Creme-Gel makeup
alousek 10/29/2012 9:28:00 AM
I find compact makeups quite inconvenient to use. I had troubles to blend it onto the skin with the sponge that came with it. A foundation brush didnt work either. So I ended up puting it on with the sponge and blending it in with my fingers. It looked nice and natural, didnt crease at all. It just took me much more time applying it than a regular liquid product.
I dont have rosacea, but my skin is sensitive and tends to get red in some areas esp. in winter... I was recommended the Rosaliac moisturizer in the pharmacy.. so i gave it a go and i have to say that it does absolutely nothing for the red areas... Just wondering if it is working on the people who really struggle with real rosacea. It calms the skin down, it is a good basic treatment for sensitive skin, but it doesnt do more than Cetaphil or some creams from Avene etc.
A very simple but good moisturizer, it calms the skin down and provides moisture. I use it only when my skin feels super sensitive and chopped to calm it down, otherwise i prefer using creams with other effects as well.
I like this scrub, it smells very nice. I find it maybe too grainy and sharp, but i have also a sensitive skin on my body. With water the small scrubbing pieces get smaller and are not so sharp anymore. I already repurchased, will probably do again, but as for almost all Freeman products, for me its because of the divine smell.
Conditioner -Freeman - Papaya and mango massive moisture 3 minute conditioner
alousek 10/24/2012 4:01:00 AM
Again, as it is the case for all Freeman products i have ever tried, i love the smell (it doesnt stay in hair for long though, unfortunately). The conditioner is quite good, it is not amazingly good, but feels good and nourishing on my long curly hair with dry ends. I use it from time to time. I would repurchase only for the smell for sure.
Cleansers -Freeman - Refining facial cleanser in Pear
alousek 10/24/2012 3:58:00 AM
I liked the idea of having a nicely smelling facial cleanser for the morning, so i gave it a try. The smell is divine, i love it, but the cleanser itself feels sticky on the skin and even when i rinse it properly the sticky feeling remaines... It cleanses normally i find, still needed to use a toner afterwards. (So currently i use it as shower gel)
Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage
alousek 10/24/2012 3:54:00 AM
I love this serum! Now in autumn/winter when i am more likely to get a cold, my eyes are puffy and swelled in the morning. This works perfectly, i just roll it on before brushing my teeth and when i am done with them, the eyes are fresh again and feel good, so that i can put my regular eye cream. It is a bit expensive, but I find it worth the price.. it also lasts me for ages and i use it every morning quite generously.
