Cleansers -Paula's Choice - Skin Recovery Cleanser

I finally had to give in.....my eczema and flakiness was driving me insane! I tried with foaming cleansers and my skin is just too dry. I purchased this and was eagerly awaiting this to arrive in the mail and when I tried it....I was pleasantly suprised! I put it on my Clarisonic and there was this really creamy lather. Te best of both worlds...Creamy and creamy lather! This is the first time I have washed my face and left the bathroom without a thought of applying moisturizer! My HG is Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Toner, but was so skeptical to try this cleanser. But this is my new HG Cleanser now. I never knew my face could feel this great! So far Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Line is my HG! I also use Paula's Choice Skin Recovery SPF 15 with Antioxidants as well. Please note that this review is based on my skin type (Dry, Sensitive, Eczema, Seborreic Dermatitis). Couldn't be happier.

Lotions/ Creams -Cetaphil - Cetaphil Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion For Dry Sensitive Skin

I know this is going to sound very strange but I use this on my scalp and it doubles as hair gel for me. I have really bad Eczema on my face and scalp. Whenever I try gel, I get really bad flakey areas on my hairline. I was desparate so I tried it and it works wonders. I have to always keep my hair back due to my job. I can't cover up flakey red skin around my hairline. It is truley embarassing. The beauty of this is....I can also moisturize around my neck and hairline without irritation because it truley is frangrance free. I have tried other lotions that claim to be fragrance free but have a reaction every time. This particular lotion doesn't cause that. I do not like Cetaphil Moisturizers for my body cause they tend to be sticky, but for my hair. This is awesome. Update: Nevermind, I will stick to my CeraVe. I also found an awesome shampoo/ conditioner that keeps my scalp in line.

Powder -Neutrogena - Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation SPF 20 in Classic Ivory

I purchased this a long time ago and just threw it in the cabinet with my stash I put on when I go out. Lol! Over the weekend I discovered this and decided to try it today at work. Everytime I looked in the mirror, I realized that my face just looked polished. It evened out my skin tone and when I arrived home from work I noticed that this has not worn off and I still look the same as when I applied it. I bought mine in Natural Beige 60. This is perfect for my skin tone. I also realized that it didn't make my face itchy (which most powder foundations do). I applied this with a Kabuki and it makes for a flawless finish. I also have flaky areas due to Retin-A use and this did not enhance any of those areas for me. I can't quite figure out why I didn't use this when I purchased this, but I am sure glad I found this little gem. Definately a keeper!

Shampoo -Head and Shoulders - Clinical Strength

I purchased this thinking when my scalp acts up I will use it. I decided to give this a try one evening and it took several days for the smell to go away. I will keep it for really bad scalp issues, but my regular Head and Shoulders seems to be keeping those at bay. I probably will never use it again and I only used it once. I am very sensitive to scents and this was horrible. Aside from the scent...it probably really helps those with extreme scalp issues and for that perhaps I would recommend this to at least try. Its ok, but will not be purchasing this ever again and probably will never use the bottle I have.

Shampoo -Head and Shoulders - Refresh

I have purchased several bottles of this, I have eczema and seborreic dermatitis and my derm told me that I must use Head and Shoulders, plus I have to leave it on for at least 10 minutes for it to be effective. The 10 minutes is a toughy, so......I purchased the conditioner as well. It took a while but this really works wonders for my scalp, plus it also makes my hair so soft! I wash my hair and leave this on for 5 minutes then I apply conditioner and leave that on for an addition 5 minutes. I prefer this "Refresh" one because it feels cooling. I know, I know......cooling is not necessary. But I have noticed that I am not scratching my scalp anymore. I didn't realize how much I was doing that until I stopped! I will continue to repurchase this as long as they make it. My HG!

This tub is one item you will see when you open my medicine cabinet. I use this for everything! I only use this on really dry spots. My legs are always itchy and there are days when I have to use this. The tub will last a long time, I think I have had my tub for almost 1 year now and only halfway through it. Definately a worthwhile investment. Plus, it absorbs so nicely, you don;t feel like you just put a heavy cream on. Definately HG for me. I wish Costco would sell this along with other CeraVe products.

Moisturizers -Cerave - Moisturizing Lotion

I have purchased this item several times. This is definately HG for me. I use this morning and night. I love that this is the only lotion that absorbs so nicely without feeling sticky or greasy. I have been searching years for this perfect Lotion. It was recommended by my Derm and I have not looked back since. With my eczema and seborreic dermatitis this is a neccessary step to maintain my skin health. I always have a back up. I also love that there is absolutely no fragrance!

Love this!!! I purchased this along with the am version (Disappointment), but this pm version is awesome! It absorbs so nicely and it feels so good! Most of the time I do not need a moisturizer at night due to my Retin-A, but I do need something around my eye area. There is no fragrance ans it is not irritating to my sensitive skin. Update: Had to stop using this, it seemed to irritate my eye area. I have Eczema and everytime I used this I got a flare up. So sad......

I purchased this item and I tried it on the back of my hand.....Needless to say, I can't seem to wash off the smell of SPF! Frustrating! I should have known better. I thought I could get by with using CeraVe exclusively, but I must return to my Paula's Choice Skin Recovery SPF. There is absolutely no fragrance in that one and it is packed full of antioxidants. This is a disappointment for me.

Cleansers -Cerave - Hydrating Cleanser

I purchased this for am use and the Foaming version for pm use. In the am I only need something hydrating and soothing. This really works wonders! I was just diagnosed with Eczema and Seborreic Dermatitis. I get my Eczema mainly on my eyelids. Very itchy! My derm gave me a sample of this and I love it, however, for evening use the Foaming version is much more effective to remove make up. For those of you with sensitivities this is the cleanser to try and if you wear make up the Foaming one is awesome.

Cleansers -Cerave - Foaming Facial Cleanser

I must say....this is an awesome cleanser! I purchased this one for evening use and the Hydrating one for am use. It foams up quite nicely with my Clarisonic. I was also worried it would really be drying to my skin but it felt great! I really like the Hydrating version but I wear waterproof make up during the day and needed something more foaming to remove my make up. In the am I really don't need to do anything but hydrate while I cleanse. This is definately worth a try for sure. I have recently been diagnosed with Eczema and Seborreic Dermatitis. I have to be very careful what I use on my skin. I think I finally found my HG!

Cleansers -Olay - Sensitive Skin Foaming Face Wash

I have sensitive skin and I do not like those creamy cleansers. I like foam and it is rather difficult to actually find one that does not dry out your skin or cause reactions. This isn't a fancy face wash with lots of bells & whistles, but it does what it needs to do without drying my skin out or cause any reactions. It would be wonderful if I could tolerate pretty scents, but unfortunately I am not the lucky one. For those of you who are looking for a simple foaming face wash that doesn't aggrivate skin conditions you may have, this is the cleanser for you. I tried going back to Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, but found it too drying for my skin. It is simple and on a budget note.....not too bad for the pocketbook.

Sunscreen -Paula's Choice - Skin Recovery Daily Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 & Antioxidants

Coming from a person who is allergic to Chemical SPF, This is the best Moisturizer/ SPF i have used to date. I have purchased this item several times and I love that I can apply it to my eye area without a concern. This is not for those with oily/ combination skin. This is for drier skin types with sensitivities. What I like the most is the antioxidant content. I feel like I am doing something wonderful for my skin. I apply powder over it and I find it tones down the shiny finish. The new formula is more of a mousse consistency (which is a bonus). I have looked and tried several versions of Physical SPF's and can't find one that compares to this. I will continue to purchase this. It has allowed me to have SPF protection as well as all the antioxidants my skin needs to remain healthy. Also, this does not have fragrance which is beautiful. I can't stand the smell of SPF, especially directly under my nose. This is a definate 5 Lippies for me.

OMG! EWWWWWW! Really??? GAWD! I felt sticky and icky for 24 hours until I took a bath! Yes! It actually lasted 24 hours! Great if you want to feel like a "Fly Trap". I have to tell you that it felt great to take a bath and wash it off and go without lotion on my body. Back on the hunt again.
