Pressed Powders -New York Color - Pressed Translucent Powder
XxOmgItsDaraxX 2/12/2011 11:12:00 PM
I use this powder to set my undereye concealer,to make my face a bit matte and to set cream blush. I find it to be a lightweight powder and is actually translucent (doesn't leave a white mask on my NC40 skintone). I apply it with a kabuki brush and don't use a lot. I love that its a multitasking powder and I only have to pay a small price. The packaging isn't the most appealing but it hasn't broken so its worth it. Would recommend and buy again when I finish it.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - ColorIcon Palette in Lust [DISCONTINUED]
XxOmgItsDaraxX 2/12/2011 10:54:00 PM
This has to be one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes. I love purple eyeshadows for my brown eyes. One side is all mattes (a very pale pink/a medium purple/dark almost black purple) & the other side is shimmers (a shimmery cream-pink/dark shimmery purple with pink sparkles not chunky glitter/a dark bluish silver with tiny blue shimmers). They are very buttery and very pigmented (can be compared to high quality eyeshadows) and they all blend well. The colors can look a bit bruisey depending on your skintone and way that you apply the shades. Overall I would recommend and buy again! Very great palette for smokey eyes and people who like dark looks or purple eyeshadows.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Brown
XxOmgItsDaraxX 2/12/2011 10:25:00 PM
I have never found a brown eyeliner that looks good on me. Usually they make me look very sick but this one doesn't (NC35-40 for reference). It lasts all day without smudging, fading or flaking. I got it at CVS for 75% off. So glad I did and I would totally recommend & buy again. You should try it if you find browns don't usually fit you...its on clearance now so go get it!
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Concentrated Shadow Duo - Forgiving
XxOmgItsDaraxX 2/12/2011 9:59:00 PM
Out of the three HIP duos that I own this has to be the best and I love it! The formula is amazing! Feels exactly like my Urban Decay shadows, very smooth and extremely pigmented. One side is a shimmery bronze color and the other is a shimmery bright turquoise color. They blend very well, super smooth and last all day (on top of my UDPP). I was glad to get these on clearance at CVS because I've always wanted to try them but they were expensive for drugstore shadows. I'd definitely recommend trying some of these duos and would buy more!
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Concentrated Duo - Mischief
XxOmgItsDaraxX 2/12/2011 9:51:00 PM
This duo has a light shimmery gold on one side and the other side is a dark matte forest green. I think its a gorgeous combination and great for a smokey eye. The colors blend very well and are sooo pigmented. There is a little bit of fallout with the shimmery shade because its so buttery/smooth your brush might pick up a lot. So I'd definitely recommend and buy again.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Concentrated Duo - Charisma #518
XxOmgItsDaraxX 2/12/2011 9:40:00 PM
I bought this for 75% off at CVS. I love purple eyeshadow so I decided to pick it up plus it was so cheap and I find these eyeshadows are a bit expensive for drugstore. Anyways, one eyeshadows is a light shimmery pink which isn't very pigmented & the other color is a matte dark purple which isn't super pigmented...just ok. I don't think the duo is horrible but it isn't the best and definitely not worth the full price. So I couldn't recommend or buy again.
I bought this at my local Target for $3, so its very affordable. The shape of this brush makes it perfect for contouring. The bristles are very soft and don't shed at all when I wash it. It picks up the perfect amount of blush and is very good for precise application (like on the apples of your cheeks). The ferrule is very sturdy...I've had it since December and washed it every week since then (multiple times). I would definitely repurchase. Love this brush!
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Stylish Smokes quad in Amethyst Smokes

I bought this palette because I am a purple eyeshadow lover. Purples make my brown eyes pop! I had been wanting this palette for a long time but when I finally bought it I was dissapointed. First to describe the colors. The lid color is a purple pearl shade similar to NYX Purple Pearl. The crease shade is matte medium purple. The brow bone shade is a pearly white. The outer corner shade is a black with silver glitters. These eyeshadows need to be applied with a base under so the colors can pop more. I use UDPP as a primer and then an NYX jumbo pencil to help the colors pop more. The black in this palette isn't very pigmented. Overall I think the shades blend well but they aren't too pigmented. I would say my favorite in the palette is the brow bone shade (some may find it too much for brow highlighting but its good for inner corner) and the crease shade. I won't repurchase and can't reccomend it.
I absolutely love this palette! I think the price is great for what you get. Sixteen amazingly pigmented and smooth shadows. Two deluxe sized 24/7 liners and a mini UDPP. I own other palettes from NYX, Coastal Scents and BF Beauty that I rarely reach for. Just too lazy in the morning to play with my eyeshadow but lately I've been using this palette and loving it. These are the first eyeshadows that I bought from Urban Decay. At first I was put off by some of the shades that were glittery but I usually apply those with a stiff, damp eyeshadow brush to prevent fall out and it works well. I love UDPP that was one product in this palette I own in the XL version. I tried Zero before in a smaller sample and loved it. Ransom I had never tried before but I love it, its a medium pearly purple with a blue sheen. Now to the shadows. Perversion: only matte shade in the palette. Its a matte black thats very pigmented and blendable. Uzi, Kush, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, Money, Maui Wowie, Bordello and Snatch are all shades with glitter. Again I apply those wet and it prevents glitter fallout. Bordello is my favorite from the glittery shades. Loaded, Last Call, Rockstar, Haight, Smog, Radium, Suspect and Psychedelic Sister are all shimmery shades. Not glittery or overly frosty. Psychedelic Sister is a bit pearly too. Overall this palette is amazing and I would reccomend to those who want to play with more color or just want some quality shadows.
Lip Gloss -Smashbox - Lip Enhancing Gloss - ILLUME
XxOmgItsDaraxX 1/15/2011 4:14:00 PM
This gloss is a great to layer over nude lips. It is a light nude color with shimmers that applies sheerly. It isn't sticky at all, it has a very comfortable feeling. It has a light marshmallow scent that isn't offensive. Oh and the shimmers aren't chunky or glittery, just very subtle. Overall I love this gloss and I never want to run out of it.
This mascara is great for those who are looking for dramatic lashes. Its very dark and gives awesome length and volume. I wouldn't say it gives you a look of wearing ''falsies'' but its close. The brush does help lift your lashes because of how its curved and the flexible wand. A lot of people complain that its clumpy and I don't get any clumps but I see why some people do. The brush holds onto a lot of mascara. I usually just apply how it is but I scraped to see how much mascara the brush holds onto and its a lot. Luckily I never have an issue with clumping. It doesn't flake on me either. I would definitely repurchase and reccomend to people who want dramatic lashes.
Pressed Powders -E.L.F. - Clarifying Pressed Powder
XxOmgItsDaraxX 12/9/2010 11:12:00 PM
I love most of E.L.F. products but this is not one of them. It is chalky, chunky, and has the worse color. I have a tan skin tone and this powder made me look like an orange. Ew never again.
The only positive about this liner is that its very black and has a great formula. What made it suck is the applicator. Usually felt tips are easy to work with but this one is very thick and stiff. It makes it harder to draw on thinner lines or make a perfect wing. I wouldn't consider myself a newbie to using liquid liner. I'd say I'm good at applying liquid liner but this one is no good. Not too much of a loss though since its only one dollar. Won't repurchase.
Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Concealer [DISCONTINUED]
XxOmgItsDaraxX 12/4/2010 8:36:00 PM
I absolutely love this concealer. I am latina and I have a medium/tan complexion. I use the color Beige (Medium 0-2.5). I apply it under my eyes only not for blemishes. I used my finger or a fluffly blening brush. It blends effortlessly and in seconds so I prefer my fingers for application. I usually set with a powder but I find I need to reapply during the day. So it would have been HG if it wasn't for that. But I already found my HG undereye concealer. I have a review on it....the Hard Candy Glamoflauge. Anyways I might not repurchase this but it is a great product.
This mascara is great for those who want a very natural or everyday look. It doesn't smudge, clump, or flake. Gives a good amount of volume and not too much length. I find if you apply more coats it can be a bit more dramatic but then it doesn't have that 'soft' feel. I would buy this again =) great for soft looks.
