*KLUNK*! What was that noise? Oh, that was just another mascara being thrown into the wastebasket. My lashes and this mascara simply did not get along. I ended up with that looked like 3 big pointy lashes over each eye. And yes...I applied it correctly. Maybe I got a bad tube, or maybe mascaras just hate me in general.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture In Control Oil Free [DISCONTINUED]

I normally don't like to use moisturizers because of my oiliness, but this one does the job of moisturizing without making matters worse. There are small sections of my face that are quite dry as well, so I can use this on my entire face. It leaves no greasiness of its own. I'm happy.

CLUMP CLUMP CLUMP! Grrr-r-r-r! I have a better shot if I wipe the wand off first, otherwise I get Tammy Faye eyes. It's less clumpy when it's brand new, and yes, I'm closing it tightly when I'm done. ;) It's true you can get a very full, long and lush effect but that's if you're not attacked by the Evil Clumps first. It's hit or miss. It's not a completely crappy product, but next time I'm going to try something new.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy Tubes - Beach Plum

I LOOOOVE these glosses, even though once applied they don't last quite as long as I'd like. I love the sheerness, the fruity grape taste and the gorgeous colors. I find them a bit sticky, but who cares? I'm hooked. I hope to find the Strawberry Glaze somewhere again. I'm worried it's been discontinued.

Gels/Soaps -Kiss My Face - Liquid Moisture Soap

What a great soap! I bought the Olive & Aloe but it smells just like pear (that's not a complaint!) It lathers and rinses nicely, leaves no residue, and smells great. The label is really pretty to boot. I haven't seen the orange blossom but now I want to try it!!

Since each of my zits has a distinct personality of its own, I'm never sure exactly when this lotion is going to work well. But when it does, it really does! It can speedily eliminate the little white pustules that are very superficial, and even prevent some of those big painful underground mothers that you can feel brewing way in advance. However, it can be hit or miss. I am still giving this product four lipsticks because there has been many a time when it's been a godsend. I noticed they have what looks to be an identical product at the "As Seen on TV" store for about $10. I may try that next after comparing ingredients.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - Black Cashmere

Now, the smell of this perfume reminds me of burning sawdust, yet I love it! I thought it was weird at first, but soon realized that the warm, spicy smell suited me just fine. My husband has asked (excitedly) "Ooh, are you wearing the sawdust?!" I did not actually buy it, I just got a few sample vials which will last me a long time. The scent lingers nicely.

Lip Gloss -DuWop - Lip Venom

Very interesting taste & tingle, but it did not puff up my lips at all. I used it one side of my upper lip because it's lopsided (I admit it!) but my whole mouth just looked like I had eaten a greasy pork chop with no hands. Fun to try once but I wouldn't buy it again.

This smells so good I want to drink it!! I absolutely love the mounds of bubbles it makes (I use it as soap and bubble bath both), it doesn't make me itch, it leaves a lasting fragrance, and I can't think of anything bad to say about it.

I was so excited to get my order in the mail, and then so disappointed with the way this orange soap made my skin itch and feel filmy, no matter how furiously I rinsed it. I was under the impression it was going to be more of a clear liquid soap rather than the thick sticky creamy stuff. Dummy me.

The weird olive-oil scent has grown on me! I've been using this for a couple of months now, but only at night because I forget during the day. A little does go a long way, which is nice because of the price. I haven't particularly noticed that my fine eye lines have lessened, but the texture of my skin has improved because of this cream. My husband thinks the little dipper thing is funny.

I gave this several tries, and each time I ended up frantically rummaging for the Vaseline shrieking "Get it off me! Get it off me!" I hate it. The selection of colors stinks, and it did indeed wear off my lips, leaving a stupid-looking crayon-y outline like Eminem's wife has been known to sport. As has been stated before, the topcoat wears off super fast and I was left with what felt like dried wallpaper paste on my lips. Eeeuuuugh. I tried 2 colors and got refunds for both.

Fragrances -Dirty Girl - Solid Scent

I was so disappointed in this product because Dirty Girl's classic lily fragrance is one of my all-time favorites. My problem is that once the perfume is applied, the smell disappears in about 1/2 an hour. Whaa! It didn't take me long to get to the bottom of that expensive, tiny jar. Normally, solid perfumes seem to be super concentrated and last a long time, but not this one. My only hope now is that they come out with a spray perfume with a lasting fragrance. I'll be waiting.

I'm always sorry to hear reviews from people that ProActiv hasn't worked for, because it has worked so well for me for the last 5 years. I only break out on my chin (does that happen to anyone else??) and using this twice a day, EVERY day has cut down my zits to about one every couple months down from several at a time every few weeks. Regular stuff like Clearasil would just burn my chin and leave it beet-red, but ProActiv works wonders and isn't harsh on my skin. My advice to people who are using it and not seeing any results---or their acne is getting worse---hang in there and give it some time. It took a couple of months to work for me. P.S. Actually I don't use the toner--I don't use toners in general--so I order an extra bottle of the cleanser instead. In their little "free club" thing they let you choose what your kit contains.

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - Matte Skin Finish

The Middle East should be coming to ME for oil because it's all on my forehead. I own the WSF (World's Shiniest Forehead) and this Matte Skin Finish is the one product that has given me relief. I was a little skeptical at first because of the well known fact that your skin produces more oil to make up for what's been taken away with products such as this, but it didn't happen! You just put on a thin layer of the slightly gritty gel and then wait 10 minutes or so before washing it off. It tingles and tightens but after it's cleaned off my skin feels normal...and stays shine-free for basically the whole day and even into the next day. Amazing!! It doesn't induce an over-production of oil, at least with me. I also don't find it overly drying. Even though everyone's skin reacts differently to products, I recommend this to anyone who blinds people with the glare of their shiny face. UPDATE: 8/21/04. Hrmmmm....interesting. Since I gave birth four months ago, my skin has gone back to its normal state of total crap. I got my period again a few weeks ago, and my skin is just a sea of oil and huge chin zits. I want to kill myself. I used my Matte Skin Finish and much to my dismay it did nothing this time. About an hour later I was slick and shiny again, and I came close to having a fit. Not sure what I'm gonna do now. The End.
