Pressed Powders -Max Factor - Creme Puff
TinaGreece 4/9/2010 11:16:00 AM
I really like this powder! (And yes, I'm surprised that I do!) It was given as a freebie with the 2000 mascara and I put it away in my drawer. Then my MAC blot pressed and MUFE matte loose powder ran out and I thought I'd give it a go as it was the only back up I had. I loved it! It doesn't settle into my fine lines, gives me a candle lit glow and keeps the shine at bay for a good 8 or so hours. (However I haven't tried it during the summer). I do wish the colour selection was better, I would have preferred a lighter colour (I prefer a "blank canvas" and then add blush or bronzer accordingly) but this specific one does look very natural on me and gives me the tiniest hint of colour without looking heavy at all. I actually went and bought MAC blot pressed and Makeup Forever matte loose powder again cause to be honest I kind of snob Max Factor face products, but alas I keep using this one! I use it with my fat/dense face powder brush. Colour of powder: medium beige #41

Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - The Emu Oil Well Moisturising Eye Cream
TinaGreece 3/31/2010 10:41:00 AM
I had a bit of left over dough to spend on my credit card (God forbid I leave any amount :) ) and I stumbled upon this eye cream that was within my spending budget. I read the reviews and was sold. (From www.feelunique.com) I ordered it and it has since become a staple. I can't believe something this cheap is so good! I was at the gym with my sis and she was like: Are you wearing concealer? Your eye area looks so bright and smooth! And I was just wearing this eye cream. Needless to say she also ordered it and is very happy with it. It is moisturising but leaves a matte finish, concealer goes over wonderfully with this and it makes my eye area seem so smooth and perky. I still also use shiseido's benefiance anti wrinkle eye cream but I certainly won't be without this one either. Taken from the site: The skin around the eyes is particularly sensitive and vulnerable. The skin is thin and prone to drying out. The result is dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. These are most commonly caused by lack of sleep. But, also ageing, fatigue, allergies, sun exposure, stress, drinking alcohol and smoking all take their toll. Emu Oil Well Moisturising Eye Cream addresses these problems with a gentle moisturising and nourishing recipe that combines the benefits of emu oil with Hyaluronic acid, Retinyl Palmitate and naturally beneficial skin nutrients. Using the cream twice a day will hydrate and soothe, soften, improve elasticity and reduce wrinkles. Directions for use: Wash the face with warm water. Pat dry with a soft towel. Apply the cream taking care not to get it in the eye. For best results do this twice a day. It may be used immediately before applying make-up. Emu Oil Well have made this cream as natural as possible. It contains no artifical colours or fragrances. Ingredients: Aqua, Emu Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Aloe Vera Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinyl Palmitate, Phenoxyethanol.

Shampoo -Modern Organic Products (MOP) - Basil Mint Shampoo
TinaGreece 3/31/2010 10:31:00 AM
I was using Redken's Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo prior to this, it was fine, but not great, so I decided to try this and I must say it is far more superior to Redken's. It leaves my hair feeling soooooo clean but also bouncy and soft. I love it so much. You must try it. Bought it from feelunique.com. Taken from the site: Lift away dirt, pollutants and oil with this cleansing shampoo containing extracts of Certified Organic Peppermint, Basil, Sage and Rosemary. Leaves hair fresh and lively, full of healthy shine and bounce. Ideal for removing product build up from the hair. Also a great scalp treatment for dry and flaky scalp.

My hair has never looked better after using this. I was a huge Redken fan but decided to try something new and boy was I glad I did. My hair looks so sleek and bouncy. I absolutely love it. I bought the duo pack (poo and conditioner 750ml each) for 25 euros at www.feelunique.com Smells so yummy too, like bubblegum.

TinaGreece 3/6/2010 2:06:00 PM
My sister's HG serum (sensitive/prone to oiliness). It truly is excellent. My sis and I both agree with the following review at this site- yes I am lazy writing reviews lately :) (which I randomly fell upon while searching for the product pic) http://www.pinksith.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Moisturizers -RoC - New Hydra+ Bio Active spf15 Normal Skin [DISCONTINUED]
TinaGreece 3/6/2010 1:39:00 PM
PIC OF INGREDIENTS (But for the combination skin as the one for normal skin was sold out and I was too lazy to go to another pharmacy to purchase tee hee)
Great product. My sister who is 37 with fantastic skin uses this and she is very happy with it. I also tried and found it lovely! Sis has sensitive/slight tendency towards oily skin and this leaves her face matte as it did mine too (I have dry/dehydrated) but it also felt so soft and moisturised and my face seemed clear. I think I just might give this a go when my Neal's Yard - Frankincense Nourishing Cream runs out (which I'm very happy with).
Taken from website: Description:
This unique, hypoallergenic facial moisturiser is enriched with active ingredients of natural origin. Its gentle on even the most sensitive skin and is scientifically proven to improve your skins hydration by over 50%, even after 7 hours. Contains SPF15 filters for UVA and UVB protection.
UPDATE: I love this!!!!! I use it more than the Neal's Yard one now as it truly keeps my skin so moisturised. I feel my skin seems much more glowy and smoother lately due to this. Love it.
On my second tube!

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Castalia Dermopur Gel Nettoyant Soap Free
TinaGreece 3/6/2010 1:23:00 PM
PIC of products.
My sister is 37 with fantastic skin so I'm thinking I should follow her simple regime seeing I always go over the top and don't really see any difference. Anyhow, one of the products she uses is this one. (Pharmacy product) She has sensitive skin, whereas I have dry/dehydrated but still used this cleanser and it was great. Cleansed my skin in a jiffy and left it feeling soft. Therefore, I will definitely be purchasing this cleanser, but I think I'll go for the Castalia Sensial line as it is for dry skin. I'm also thinking of purchasing the 10% vitamin C anti ageing serum which comes in 14 5ml bottles.
Taken from the site (http://www.lavipharm.gr/english/products/index.asp?product_id=17&cat_id=180)
Dermopur: Mild, seboregulating, foaming, cleansing gel for the oily or acne prone sensitive skin. Soap-free.
Sensial Gel Nettoyant Sugras:Cleansing, emollient gel for a daily hygiene of all skin types. Ideal for dry or atopic skin (for body and face).
Chronoderm Lotion Nettoyante Anti-Taches:Whitening, cleansing lotion for the face, neck and decollete.

Moisturizers -Neal's Yard - Frankincense Nourishing Cream
TinaGreece 2/2/2010 7:52:00 AM
I bought this moisturiser based on the reviews here and I am so glad I did. I think this has to be the best moisturiser I have ever used. I'm definitely going to be sticking to this one. My face has never looked better, smoother and my fine lines look plumped out (I have a few fine lines on my inner cheeks which seem a tad noticeable when I smile). The texture is fantastic also, thick but my skin soaks it up and leaves my face completely matte. Truly excellent product. Kenzoki’s face delight intense nourishing serum + this product = HG. P.S. Does anyone else think of Frankenstein when referring to this product? I do! hee... UPDATE: While I still really like this cream and use it frequently, I must say Roc's New Hydra+ Bio Active spf15 Normal Skin is a tad bit better. Sorry Frankenstein!

Polishes -Korres - Myrrh & Oligoelements high shine/long lasting #59 Dark Red
TinaGreece 1/19/2010 2:58:00 PM
Gorgeous colour. These korres polishes caught my eye while I was at my local chemist and I couldn't resist purchasing one as they looked so cute. I usually wear dark colours during the winter time towards the plum or dark grey side and so I was actually looking for a colour like this one. It's a lovely deep wine colour on the burgundy side. Also, I am impressed as it really is glossy and I put a heavy second coat which sometimes can mess it up and make the end result look dull when my nails come into contact with things, even with a top coat (as it can't dry properly and thus not settle well). Will definitely purchase more colours. Retails for 5.50 euros here in Greece and is 11ml/0.37fl.oz.

Gels/Soaps -Aveeno - Intim Detergente Intimo Extra Delicato/Mild Intimate Wash with Natural Colloidal Oatmeal
TinaGreece 1/3/2010 9:28:00 AM
This product has absolutely saved me. I am extremely prone to yeast infections and similar infections of that sort and it just drives me crazy because I am very careful with what I use etc. but I suppose I am just so sensitive "there" it appears (I had numerous of tests done during the summer, took antibiotics, I have even taken time off work when it hits me; that's how uncomfortable it can get). I even researched which toilet paper brand has the least chemicals in it and only use that one, hand wash my underwear with the mildest detergent etc. etc. but I would still frequently go through those uncomfortable situations and would panic if I didn't have the medication Norocin with me at all times just in case. Anyhow, I decided to try out a new intimate wash and the SA at the chemist recommended this one by Aveeno. I don't know what happened, but after using this wash I haven't had the SLIGHTEST problem in that department at all. I could nearly cry from happiness for having found this product. Retails for 10.00 euros in Greece.

Cleansers -L'Occitane - Shea & Organic Cotton Ultra Comforting Cleansing Milk
TinaGreece 1/3/2010 8:13:00 AM
Not a bad product at all. It is in a pump bottle and very airy/light and runny in texture. I find it doesn't take off my make up so thoroughly, so I wouldn't use it for that, but it is a nice gentle cleanser for the morning or to freshen up. Does not irritiate my eyes at all but I don't use it to take off my eye makeup so that's not such a vital factor for me but it is a positive when it goes over my eyes while I am cleansing. Retails for 16.00 euros in Greece- 23.00 US$

I'll keep this short and sweet: I've been using this product for over 2 years now and I simply cannot fathom living without it. You should see my forehead with and without it on, huge difference.

Foundations -Yves Saint Laurent - Perfect Touch Radiant Brush Foundation
TinaGreece 1/3/2010 7:57:00 AM
I hadn't bought a foundation in agesssss as I was using By Terry Touch Expert concealer in #2 as a foundation. The SA at Sephora tried this on me (after freaking out that they don't stock By Terry anymore and he tried to calm me down) and I really really liked it!!! I bought #5 and it is EXACTLY the same colour as my skin which makes it look sooooo natural. It is not heavy at all, however I suppose one could layer it on for more coverage. My nightmare is if a foundation seeps into fine lines and cakes, but this doesn't at all and it looks so natural. I apply the product on my skin, smooth it out with a foundation brush by MAC and then blot and pat with a sponge. I rarely use powder with this as it is also matte, but does not dry out my dehydrated skin in the least. I am very very happy with it. Retails in Greece for: 39.64 euros (about 57.00 US$)
