I received this in a swap. First of all the color I tried (Shell) is a bit yellow for my NW15/20 skin. I noticed the shimmer in the bottle and was actually excited because my face looks very dull and can always use help looking more glowing. After applying I was a bit dissapointed. The foundation hugs little skin imperfections and settles into my pores. As the day progresses this foundation becomes patchy, and little yellow areas start to form, yuck! The coverage is medium to full. The reason I have given it 3 lippies is that I do like this foundation for going out at night due to the good coverage, which ocasionaly I like. So I'm stearing well clear of this for during the day. Too bad because the SPF of 20 is nice bonus, obviously not usefull at night. Will not repurchase.
Lovely opaque pink toned MLBB color on me. I was not expecting this quality for the price. Applies smoothly, nice scent (especially compared to their round glosses which reek), good staying power. Simple lipstick that just works on me without worries. I love my HE stuff, but it's also great to just have some DS stuff that you can just toss into your purse, leave in your car, loose, break etc without being worried. This is a winner for me!
This is one of those complex products for me that I adore some aspects of and hate other aspects of. I noticed this loose e/s only because it was heavily discounted. I loved the look of the packaging and the e/s color looked a pretty shimmery brown. When I first tried it the powder got all over my vanity and when applied to my lids the fallout was crazy. I was ready to give this a really negative review untill I saw the color on my eyelids. Wow! This appears on me like a gorgeous golden olive duchrome with real depth to it. Incredible color! So I started to hold a tissue under my eye with one hand and apply the shadow with the other. It's more work than I like doing, but that way I can have the benefits of this lovely color without the green steeks of fallout on my cheeks. If you don't mind the precautions you have to take don't hesitate to pick it up. If you're looking for an easy quick e/s skip this one. Also it lasts very well on my eyes with a base underneath. Pro's: Lovely duocrome color Lasts Con's : Difficult to apply due to fallout
I cannot believe all the positive reviews for this gloss. I was not planning on trying this, much less buying this but the SA at MAC said she thought it would look good on me. I tried it, and wow it looked like glitter had exploded on my lips. I quickly wanted to wipe it off but about 40% of the glitter remained on and around my mouth and I looked like a kid that had been playing with my mom's make up. I can only see this work for very young girls. It has no colour pay off, just major major gritty glitter.
Lip Gloss -MAC - Flurry of Fun (To the Beach Collection)

This was one of the TTB collection products I was planning on buying but did'nt. I was looking forward to a beautiful orange color for my lips, but once applied this turned out to be a cool toned blue that made me look like a corpse with gloss on. Not impressed! Formulation and scent are the same as other MAC glosses: sticky and vanilla scented.
I'm not sure if I want to rate this 2 or 3 lippies...I decided on 2 because it does not do what it claims to. Let me explain. I got this after a friend recommended it and trying hers out. After she applied it on my face she was really enthousiastic saying how it made me look more awake. For a moment there I believed her and bought this about 1 month ago. I've been wearing it ever since and I must say, I cannot see a differance. I have moderate undereye circles. I've looked at my under eye area from every angle in many kinds of light, with one eye clear, on it's own, with concealer under it, with another concealer under it...so I gave it a fair chance...NOTHING! I can see it doing nothing for me. The powder is very finely milled and feels soft, but that is it.
Polishes -Essie - Turquoise & Caicos (Resort 2010)

Love the shade, hate the formulation :( I've really been loving the whole green/jade/pastels trend and this polish seems to incorporate all of those categories into one bright and lovely looking polish. I love opaque creme polishes and that's what this polish looks like in the bottle. However, once you apply it goes on streaky and sheer. I don't expect any polish to look perfect after one coat, but I can still see my nail underneath after three coats. Honestly who wants to put in the time to wait for 4 coats to dry? My conclusion is that I am willing to do so because I really like the color, but I am still annoyed about the amount of polish you need to make it look good. First chips on me at the end of the second day.
Highlighters -MAC - Golden Nectar ( Naked Honey Collection)

I adore this! I got it online at a CCO because obviously it's not sold at MAC right now. I'm so glad I did. When I first applied it I was a little overwhelmed bij the gold overspray, but once that's gone you're left with a beautiful powder with a very subtle sheen. I love subtle MU! This makes me (NW15/20 skin) look like I've seen a little sun! Usualy I use Benefit's Dallas to give my face some colour and sheen since my face looks a bit dull on it's own due to my dry skin. The first few times I put this on DH kept saying that my face looked great, and all I was doing different was adding a bit of Golden Nectar. MAC calls it a highlight, but as other have commented it's more of a bronzer/beauty powder for all over the face. I cannot fault this product, just love it and will be using it all summer.
I love this pigment! I've been going through my Make Up stash to find products that are more suitable for summer. I rediscovered this pigment and I love it. It's a wonderful colour for all over my lid up to the brow bone for summer days. Adds a lovely subtle sheen to my eyes without being loud or too glittery. I love how it makes me look good with little effort. Normally I don't like pigments that much because of fallout, but due to the light colour of this pigment that's not a real issue. Futhermore the fallout is how I discovered that Naked pigment looks lovely as a highlight for my cheekbones too. If you're looking for an affordable dupe L'oreal Color Minerals e/s in 03-Desert Shimmer (that's the name in the UK) is a good one.
I love this e/s. I like to use this to line my lower lashline when I'm wearing an every day neutral look. This really lifts my look from boring to more outspoken. Lovely gold accent that brings out my green eyes. One of my favourites!
I adore this eye shadow! At first I struggled with the application, but once I got it down I fell in love. This is the ideal everyday e/s for me for autumn and winter, or for going out in the evening. This eyeshadow comes in a pen form with a brush applicator. The product is dispensed by clicking (like YSL touche eclat for example). I first apply a few dots on my lid and the use my fingers to further blend the product. The colour is beautiful and very pigmented! It looks smooth and creamy. It reminds me a bit of MAC's club e/s. It has a kind of duochrome brown/greenish/pearl colour on me. The finish is much like a Veluxe Pearl. Love the unique look. Also the way you can blend it makes it look like you've used multiple shadows when you've just used the one. This is my HG eyeshadow! On the downside it's pretty expensive, but honestly to me it's worth every penny. Also it does crease a bit :( However this is not bad enoug to turn me off of this product. I really like this blush. I tend to gravitate towards peach toned blushes, and this one fits the bill. It's a pretty matte peach/pink toned blush with great colour pay off. It's pigmented and buildable. I often use this on it's own for an everyday look and top with a product with more sheen for a more dramatic effect (like Benefit Coralista or Maybelline mousse blush in 20). This is a basic staple for my that I will never be without.
This is one of my all time favourite summer glosses. On my pigmented lips it's a sheer shimmery tone. Normally I'm quite pale, but in summer when I amp up the selftanner this look beautiful. It's easy to wear, always looks great and stays on well. It's everything I want from a gloss for summer. It's just the kind of effortless product I need on those really hot days. Cannot fault it.
Love this gloss! The Viva Glam V lipstick is one of my favoroute lipsticks so I decided to buy the gloss. It's a very flattering mauve colour with golden shine much like the lipstick but a lot more shiny. If I've been wearing the lipstick in the day time and I'm going straight from work for drinks I love to just swipe this on for a more outspoken look. It is a bit sticky, and that is something you either hate or tolerate with MAC lipglasses. I don't mind that and love the distinct MAC vanilla scent. Will repurchase forever!
I like this lipstick because of it's potential. It's a cool toned peach/gold sheer shimmer. My skin is quite pale and my lips are pretty pigmented. Right now this lipstick looks ok on me, but I think it will look great in the hight of summer when I'm more tanned. I can see myself grabbing for this all the time on warm summer days. Formulation is nice and smooth and the lipstick has de distinct MAC vanilla smell.
