I love this product. The ladies at the Origin store convinced me to move away from the old serum (Modern Fusion) and I'm glad that they did. This stuff works really well with the Night-A-Mins. I have noticed my scar slowly going away ( after 3 months of use). I use the serum during the day and the night-a-mins at night. For the price, the serum is a little expensive.
I use these pads sparingly. The pads feel like they are working, but I haven't seen any real results. I have oily skin, sensitive skin that scars easily. Using this has not really improved my scars as much as the night-a-mins have.
This product is like an apricot scrub...but harsher. The particles that make up the friction are rough. When I started using it, i thought it would be like an OTC apricot scrub ( St. Ives, Target brand, etc.). I started using it maybe once or twice a week. This was too many times a week...because my skin started to break out more and more because the bits in the scrub were causing small nicks in my face, which then became pimples. I won't be using this product ever again.
I use this as only a spot treatment when I see the beginnings of a pimple. This product made me break out even more than before, so I only use this product when something start to show beneath the surface. I would not recommend using this product as an all over face mask. The smell is nice, but can get overwhelming.
I love the Night-A-Mins lotion. I have been using it for almost a year and I can honestly say that this product really helped my acne and scarring. After using this product the first month ( only at night) I noticed that the older scars I had were disappearing faster than they did before the lotion. This isn't an overnight miracle. I had to keep using the product, but it really did work. Recently Origins changed the packaging to a jar form (which looks like less product for more money). I don't know if the formula has changed, but I hope it hasn't.
I used this cleaners for almost 6 months, which allowed time for the "purging" that occurs whenever you switch to a new cleanser. In the beginning it worked out well, but after month #3 my face started to get worse. I have acne prone skin, which also leads to evil scaring. My face was fine, but then i started to break out in places I don't normally break out ( the norm is forehead and chin, but after using the face wash it only happened on my cheeks). The scent is nice but not overwhelming. For the price is a little high for the size of this bottle. I recommend getting samples of this and trying it before you make your purchase.
I love this product. In the nearly 15 years I've been wearing MAC cosmetics, this is the first powder that does the MAC artist say it will do. I am PRONE to acne, shiny T-zone and SCARING. Since I started using this product in June( 2011), my face has been so much better -- no HUGE break outs ( which means no new scares) and real shine control. I use the shine control lotion, but this powder helps reinforce the no shine action. The coverage is light but can be built up ( with concealers, foundations). I often only use concealer underneath. The only downside to this product is the small quantity in the compact. If this was in a loose powder, I would buy only this product because it is THAT good.
