I wanted to love this foundation since all the great reviews on here and youtube. But I hated it. Here is why: At first the color was perfect for me (I used the shade Light One and I am NW05-NW10) but it oxidixed (with and with out primer) very quickly and then it had a yellow tinge to it, yuck; it gives my skin a dewy finish which i do not like at all; after being set with powder it still looks dewy; it does not cover up ice pick acne scarring, under eye circles (mine are a blusih tint,) or my redness; it my pores look huge; it also clings to dry patches. Ugh this foundation was just a mess. I applied it with the Mehron Face Smoothie Sponge (not that great either btw) dampened and ugh it just looked awful! And if that is not enough it made me break out (white heads, blackheads and clogged pores!) because it contains Myristyl Lactate. It was just horrible! I wish I could return it and get my money back! I say pass on this foundation if you have any kind of imperfection whatsoever and/or you have oily skin and/or acne prone skin! Do not buy! :/

Blush -Physicians Formula - Happy Booster™ Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in rose

I recieved this blush as a gift for Valentine's Day and I must say it is really really beautiful (packaging and color!) Mine came with the lipstick in I <3 Rose from Walmart for $10.00 a wonderful deal if you ask me....Okay onto the blush...It is a nice cool toned pink not really that dark or light just perfect really....for me at least. I have cool undertones and have very pale skin (I am around NW05-NW10 probably closer to NW05) and this blush is perfect for me! This is the first blush I have found that does not look like I am flushed but make me looks like my natural blushing color:)) I think the packaging is really cute too. The hearts on the blush make me smile so maybe it is mood boosting....maybe:) The brush is really too small for blush but maybe for highlighting would be okay I am not for sure. I like the fact it has a mirror. And also I like the smell its not offensive like the Cover Girl Cheekers Blush and the only time I smelt was when I first opened the package. The staying power is pretty good for a powder blush and since I was using a dewy foundtion on my oily skin today (bad idea) it stayed pretty well. I will be repurchasing this if I ever run out! :D

Pressed Powders -Lacura - Compact Powder

What Lacura Claims: Lacura Compact Powder gives your skin a natural, smooth apperance. What I Say: Only use this powder if you want a peachy-orange, non-oil controlling, cakey, smelly powder. Yes this is true....read on for me... This powder had no oil contol on my extemely oily skin. The fragrance irratates my sensitive skin (makes it more red than usual.) The color turns a peachy-orange on uber pale skin (I have 10 Transparent—nope its not sorry.) The package would be very pretty (and it is sturdy and has a nice size mirror) if it did not show fingerprints (which any compact does have fingerprints you cant help this but this is just crazy. The puff it comes with is basically useless (a flimsy whit circle.) The only good thing about this powder is the price ($.99 USD at Aldi.) So yeah I will not repurchasing this powder.

Crème -Lacura - Beauty Foundation

What Lacura Claims: The soft and pleasant texture of Lacura Foundation leaves your skin silky smooth and shine-free while providing optimum coverage power. What I Say: Use this foundation only if you want to look like a orange greaseball with your flaws uncovered:/ Yes it is that bad....read on for more... This foundation is one of the worst I have ever tried (I have tried basically all drugstore foundations.) I have this in 10 Tranparent. The coverage is trasparent yes but the shade turns orange on me! I hate hate the smell of this foundation (it does smell like old lady makeup—think the most tackiest floral perfume you have ever smelt, yes it is that bad:/.) I actually hate all foundations with fragances for I have very sensitive skin and this makes my skin really red (more red than usually.) This does not last on me at all. I have very very oily skin. This also made me break out. The only good that about this foundation is the price ($.99 USD at Aldi) and the package (a sturdy squezze tube—great for traveling if you like this foundation.) Needless to say I will not be repurchasing this foundation. Yet another to put in my "You Will Never Be On My Face Again" foundation drawer (haha.)

Liquid -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Makeup

I have been using this foundation on and off for about four weeks now. But I will NEVER EVER USE THIS AGAIN! The color is way way too dark (I have ivory) which is the case with most drugstore brands (well all really.) Also this broke me out so bad! It makes me extremely oily and last for about 3 hours tops. It also gives a medium coverage and I prefer a full coverage or at least build-able. This foundation will never go on my face again! And of course I will not be repurchasing this! If you have acne-prone skin (which I am sure you do since this is what the foundation is for) do NOT buy this foundation! But with that said my skin is super super sensitive so maybe that had something to with it....i do not know?... Happy Holidays! :D

Scrubs -Lacura - Exfoliating Peeling Gel

I can not believe no one has reviewed this product yet! I found this at my local Aldi for $0.99 (USD) which is an unbelievable price for such a great product! As the same says it is a gel exfoliater but the beads are small so it won't irritate your skin. It is light green in color. It smells like a green apple jolly rancher (weird but true haha :) This has cleared up my acne 100% (except for a few linger acne spots!) I will defiantly repurchase this over and over again! Thanks Lacura! :D EDIT 01/09/2012: Sadly this broke me out! :/ Will not be repurchasing.

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - With Love by Hilary Duff

I love this perfume! :) It is a great floral scent with some warmth to it....maybe a slight vanilla as well. I got a bottle of this for Christmas last year ($10.00 USD from Big Lots for small bottle.) A few days I went back to the same Big Lots and could not find the Haliry Duff With Love perfume but I did find a cheaper version of it called Love Me ($3.50 USD for triple the size of With Love small bottle.) I think the Love Me smells a little better than the With Love b/c it seems to have more of a vanilla scent to it which I like (but they are the same scent except for that.) I love both scents though. As far as staying power goes I find I can still smell 4-5 hours after sppyling which is wonderful for a perfume. I would and probaly will repurchase both of these perfumes. I recommend both! :)

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I used this product for about four months and it did nothing for my acne but make it worse! I have very oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. Also this contains sodium lauryl sulfate which is known to cause acne. According to this article, Became An Acne Detective, this has a level 5 Com. (Comedogenicity) So I do not use this anymore and I do not suggest anyone use if you have acne prone skin. Also take a look at the article and see if any of the skin care products and/or cosmetics could and maybe causing your acne. Take it from after I stopped using the products that the list said were very acne causing and irrtating I have no more acne! So yes take a look at it and use caution when purchasing/using this cleanser.

Liquid -Almay - Nearly Naked LIQUID foundation

I do not like this foundation at all! PROS: -The color 120 Ivory does match my skin CONS: -Looks dewy (almost greasy on my extremly oily skin -Does NOT cover at all! :// -It also broke me out. :/ I would say that if you do not need a lot of coverage, have dry, normal or combo skin this make work for you. I will not be repurchasing this foundation!

Blush -L.A. Colors - Pink Blush #BSB332

OMG!!! This is the most beautiful blush I have ever seen! It is a very pretty cool toned pink color with a hint of mauve to it. It looks absoutley perfect on my very very pale skin with light pink undertones (the color of the blush in the pan.) When I apply this blush it seems to make the redness in my skin caused by acne go away and brings out the natural pink undertones in my skin. It is matte with no shimmer which i love. It stays on all day (with the right foundation mind you) even with my very oily skin! For a $1.00 you can not beat the quality, color and staying power of this blush! I will repurchase this blush over and over again!!! I highly recommend this blush to every other PPP or fair skinned person looking for new blush!!! This is my HG blush!!! Thank you L.A. Colors! :D

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Blush 831E Pearlescent Pink

I feel like I am the only one who does not like this blush. But I do not like it. I have not tried the various NARS blushes it has been compared to so I can not vouch for those. But this blush just did not do it for me. I have very pale skin with pink undertones already and this blush color was just too much for my skintone. It was way too dark on me (more of a medium pink with some sparkle.) It made me looked my cheeks were flushed like I had a fever or something. It is a very pretty color when swatched but just not on my skintone. It also did not stay on my very oily skin. But you can not beat the price on this it is only $3.00 and a lot of people seem to like it but it just was not for me. I will not be purchasing this again or using the remaining blush I have left (which was pretty much the whole blush it does not even have a dent in it.) However, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good drugstore blush that is a medium pink color.

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion

I really really really LOVE this lotion!!! I just randomly found this is on my bathroom shelf (don't you love with that happens:) My mom has been using this and she loves it. And as do I after just trying it. I squirted some in the palm of my hand and was like: OMG it is a yellow (for it is my fav color haha.) Okay anyway on to this amazing product.... FYI: This is the first time ever I have reviewed a product after my first time of usage. I will update after I use it for a litte longer. :) PROS: -Makes skin soft -Doubles as a face moisturizer (which is what I am using it for) -Tones down the redness in my skin -Does not make me oily -Hasn't broken me out....at least not yet -It smells wonderful (I call it my Yellow Hot Chocolate haha) CONS: -None that I have right now...TBU :) Okay has far as the first usage goes I see no reason why I would reuse and repurchase this product again. Will update soon. :)

Pressed Powders -Hard Candy - Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS POWDER!!!! It is a perfect match for my very pale skin with pink undertones and my skin that is extemely oily, red and acne proned. I have been using this powder since April. I have just recently hit pan on my first compact. It controls my oily skin like no other powder has been able to before. It has not broken me out. It is pigmented so I am not for sure how it will match darker skin tones. This powder paired with Neutrogena Skin Clearing foundation in Classic Ivory 10 is a perfect match for my skin! I highly recommend this product to people who are looking for a matte powder to control their oil. Also to extremely pale people like me! And as well if you are acne proned b/c at least IME this did not break me out! I will absoutley repurchase this powder. I mean for $6.00 (USD) it can not be beat IMO at least! Thank You Hard Candy!!!!! <3 EDIT: I still use this and still agree with everything I said above. But I have changed the foundation I was using with this. I am now using the Almay Clear Complexion Foundation in 140 Buff. The Neutrogena Skin Clearing Foundation in Classic Ivory 10 turned out to be much too yellow and dark for my skin and it broke me out. Also a note on the pink sponge that comes with it, which is so adorable, it is great for touch ups. I like using a powder brush for applying it over my foundation. The mirror is really cute too and I love the whole packaging of the product. I am still in love with this powder and still use it every day! :D EDIT: I no longer use the Almay or Neutrogena foundation with this. For now since my acne has cleared up (hope I do not jinx myself haha:) I only use this powder and some concealer and my skin looks flawless but still like my skin and not cakey or like makeup. I am still in with this powder! And yes I am still using my first compact of this that I have had since April! :D

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

This use to be my everyday powder. But I stopped using it for a few weeks and then went back to it. And after using this powder for three straight days it gave like six pimples. I know that may not seem like a lot but my skin has been really good and then this powder made me break out. The color was off much too yellow for my skin. As well it did not do a great job contoling my oil. I will not purchase this product again.

Shampoo -Pantene - Beautiful Lengths

I LOVE this shampoo! It is by far the best shampoo I have ever used. I have the Breakage Defense formula. I have mid-back length hair and it has spilt ends. But when I use this product my hair looks soft, shiny, smooth and it helps my spilt ends. It smells wonderful. I have very oily hair and it cleans my hair well. I do not have color treated hair so I am not for sure how it will do on color treated hair. Overall this is my HG shampoo! I highly recommend and will purchase again and again! Please Pantene never discontinue this Shampoo! Thanks Pantene! :D
