I actually love this beauty powder because it isn't a shimmerfest. It is a lovely soft warm pink and finely milled. Applied lightly, I can use it as a highlighter or finishing powder. Applied more heavily, it serves as a beautiful blush. I wish MAC would make beauty powders a permanent product. I may end up buying another one of these because it is so flattering on my NC25 complexion.
Lovely blue-based pink lipstick from MAC, a part of the Heatherette collection. Very pigmented and oddly enough flattering on my light olive complexion. Looks beautiful when paired with Starlet Kiss lip glass and stays creamy, not drying. I'm debating on picking up a second one since this is a limited edition item.
I love this lip gloss. It is part of the MAC Heatherette collection and is therefore a limited edition item. It is a lovely cream coral and looks perfect paired with Lollipop Loving lipstick. It doesn't seem quite as sticky as most MAC lip glass, which is a plus. The color is not the dark orange in the tube, but a lovely pigmented coral. I would purchase this again if it weren't a limited edition.
I have to say that MAC has outdone itself with the current crop of mineralized skinfinishes. Warmed is a gorgeous warm bronze color. The texture and finish of this product is excellent, with no garish glitter chunks running through it. Perfect bronzer for the coming summer.
Lipstick -MAC - The Originals Collection-Super-Sequin

Second the raves for this one. On me it's a lovely muted raspberry with a touch of frost. Perfect for brightening up my face, but not overwhelming. The texture is great and non-drying. I know this one will get a lot of use. It was the only lipstick in the Originals collection that really wowed me.
Other -Stila - The Best of Stila Set (an Ulta exclusive)
SMMY 1/16/2008 7:43:00 PM
Pretty much everything the reviewer below said. The price is unbeatable considering you are getting full sized products. If you like Stila’s Illuminating TM, that almost pays for the cost of the set. I will disagree about the little container it comes in. It’s cute and all, but not sturdy enough to store things in. The bottom is a little disk of cardboard that just rests in the bottom. Not a big issue, but I would hate to think someone was buying this and thinking they are getting a sturdy cardboard version of the Stila paint can. Still, putting that minor issue aside, this is a great deal if you are a Stila fan or new to their products and want to try out their most popular ones to get an overview of the brand. ETA: As the reviewer noted below, these items are going to sell out fast at this price. My Ulta only had two of these left when I picked mine up yesterday. I doubt these will be restocked once they're gone.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Chocolate Amber
SMMY 12/27/2007 5:04:00 PM
I love this product and think it's the perfect mix of amber and chocolate. I do love amber scented products though, so that probably colors my review of this. It is smoky and strong initially, but I like that almost woodsy note it has. I picked mine up at the B&BW semi-annual sale and will be stocking up on this one. I do hope it's not one of those items B&BW introduces and then discontinues. It's a very unique scent.
I've had this product for a couple of years now and honestly have to say that this is one of my favorite mineralized skinfinishes. Is it dark? Yes Is it more work to use if you are pale? Yes Is it worth it? Most definitely yes! This mineralized skinfinish has probably the best texture of the nine or ten msfs that I own. It is velvety perfection. The pigment is rich and the glitter is much more subdued than some newer skinfinishes. I love using this a bronzer with skunk brush or an eye shadow or wet as a liner. I am an NC25 for reference. On a side note, I wish the MAC would release these in a wider range of colors. Lately it seems to be either peachy or bronzer shades that could easily be duplicated in other lines. It would be nice to have more unique and colorful mineralized skinfinishes again. Oh and please retire Shimpagne permanently and replace it with something akin to Stereo Rose or Petticoat next release. Your customer base will thank you.
I've been hearing a lot of hype for this lipstick on MUA, but was skeptical that this was a red that I could wear. Finally received it in the mail today and it is gorgeous. It is a true red, so it should suit a wide variety of skin tones. Usually red lipsticks are overwhelming and not too flattering on me, but this one is very flattering. It complements my light olive skin tone instead of clashing with it. It is metallic, but oddly doesn't look too flashy. It is drying though, so you'll need to apply a balm to your lips first. I'm NC25 for reference. Applause for MAC for making such a great lipstick.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Your Ladyship Pigment Antiquitease
SMMY 11/1/2007 12:26:00 AM
Lately I've been quite disappointed with a lot of MAC collections. I've actually skipped most of them this year. The Antiquitease collection actually caught my interest. I needed another highlighter color like a hole in the head, but the colors swatches of Your Ladyship hooked me. Received it on Friday and for me it is absolutely a pleasure to work with and wear. The color is a pink tinged cream with gold microglitter. On me, NC25, it is a lovely pale cream with flashes of gold. The texture is so smooth-it is comparable to Coco pigment. I haven't had any glitter fallout from this, but I always use a base. This is love in pigment form for me. This pigment is a standout for me, in a year of disappointments from MAC. Kudos to MAC.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Sweet Sienna [DISCONTINUED]
SMMY 11/1/2007 12:13:00 AM
Lately I've been quite disappointed with a lot of MAC collections. I've actually skipped most of them this year. The Antiquitease collection actually caught my interest. I debated about picking up this pigment, wondering if it was truly all that and the proverbial bag o'chips. Received it on Friday and for me it is. The color is a grayish brown with gold and green shimmer. On me, NC25, the gold shimmer dominates, which is fine with me. The net effect on is a warmed up golden brown-gray. The texture isn't as smooth as its sister pigment, Your Ladyship, but is still very nice and easily worked with. I can easily see this getting a lot of use from me. For me this is a clear winner in a year of disappointments from MAC. Kudos to MAC.
This is like the mostest awesomest product ever. I heart this so much! It makes my lashes look fuller and longer. I can't recommend it enough. Heck, it's even getting celeb. endorsements and it's just been released. You need this product!
MAC eye shadows come in a great variety of colors and finishes at an attractive price point. Oh and im3ld4_87: quit your whining
I agree with the poster who said it smelled like rancid milk. Mine had such a strong and nasty smell, I just tossed it. It was more like burning rubber meets sour chocolate milk. The product texture and color were just "eh" but what were they thinking using that scent? Luckily it was just a sample. If the "buy again?" option had a "hell no!" I would have chosen that.
Great lip gloss. If you are expecting lots of color, you will want to skip this. If you are looking for a lovely, gilded gloss that will let your lips or lipstick color show through it, this is your lip gloss. The texture is perfect, not to sticky, but doesn't migrate either. I purchased at the Sephora sale, but will definitely repurchase again when this runs out.
