Eye Shadow -MAC - Club Eye Shadow

Another one that's gorgeous in the pan and nothing special when applied. MAC has a pigment called Blue Brown that's similar, and much better in my opinion.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot - Groundwork
Rin13 12/19/2012 7:19:00 PM
Paint pots are my HG eye primer. Nothing else works as well as these do. I use this color for my darker/smokier looks. It's a light brown w/ a greyish undertone. I could see this being close to skin color on darker complexions... but I am like NW15.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Beauty Marked
Rin13 12/19/2012 7:18:00 PM
Totally disappointed with this color. It looks so gorgeous in the pan but no matter what I do (prime, foil it, wet it) it looks NOTHING close to the way it does in the pan. Wet N Wild has an identical shade that actually looks the way it does it the pan for MUCH cheaper. I'd rather get the Wet N Wild. (from the Petal Pusher 8 pan)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Painterly

LOVE this! This is my favorite primer/eyeshadow base. It's creamy, doesn't irritate my eyes and makes my eyeshadow last. It's pretty much the exact color of my skintone, so it blends in beautifully.

Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Black & Hot Pink Angled Kabuki
Rin13 12/19/2012 5:41:00 PM
Love this brush for setting powder. If you want something more stiff or something that's must abrasive to buff the product in (especially mineral foundation) I would opt for the Destiny Kabuki on a stick. Otherwise, if you want a relatively large, soft powder brush, this is a great choice.

Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - destiny blender brush

I like this brush for blending out color (crease) and for applying a light wash of color on the lid. The bristles are super soft and I've experienced little to no fall-out. Very happy w/ this brush. It's one of the first ones I've purchased from them.

Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Kabuki on a Stick
Rin13 12/19/2012 5:37:00 PM
I love this brush. The bristle head is about the size of a half-dollar. The bristles are stiff but in my opinion, not too harsh. I like a slightly more abrasive kabuki so it can buff the product in more effectively. The brush is very inexpensive and good quality.

Overall I ADORE Coastal Scents brushes. They are by far my favorite brushes for the price and quality. (I've tried some MAC, sigma, crown, ecotools, ELF, sonia kashuk brushes) My favorite are the Classic Blender Synthetic, Classic Shadow Small Synthetic (I use it as a lip brush) and Destiny Kabuki on a stick. (reminds me of that Comedian) (Jalapeno on a stick ROFL)

Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Kabuki On A Stick (close to the Handy Buki Brush)
Rin13 12/19/2012 5:02:00 PM
I heard some complaints about this brush being "too small" and "scratchy"... However, I don't think some people realize that not all kabukis are huge. Either way, the brush circumference is about the same size as a half dollar coin. (larger than a quarter) The bristles are somewhat stiff, but I don't think they are scratchy. I prefer a somewhat stiff kabuki because it buffs in your powder/minerals better. If you want a kabuki that's larger and softer, the pink and black short-handled one is really nice and soft.

Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Pro Blending Fluff Brush

I don't have the 217 to compare to but I like this brush. I don't have any issues blending in the crease/etc. I think for the price, it's definitely worth it. However, I do prefer the Classic Blender (synthetic) to this brush, which is why I wouldn't repurchase.

Blush -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush - Blushing Bride
Rin13 12/19/2012 3:38:00 PM
Dark dusty rose color w/ gold shimmer. The glitters are super fine and barely noticable when I wear it. (which I like... not big on shimmery blushes) Lasting power/texture/blendability is nice.. However, not a huge fan on the color... At least not on me. On someone less pale, would probably look nice... Probably amazing on olive complexions

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Riche le Gloss in The Mystic's Shine (Project Runway)
Rin13 12/19/2012 3:30:00 PM
LOVE this stuff! And I HATE lipgloss in general. I find most of them to be disgustingly sticky and uncomfortabe... This stuff is different. It's slightly sticky but not overly so. It stays on well because of the slight tackiness. It's very comfortable in my opinion. The smell/taste is amazing. (vanilla icing) The color is truly gorgeous. It's a clear base w/ micro-fine purple sparkle throughout. The glitter is super fine and you cannot feel it at all. (no gritty feeling like some glittery glosses)

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush
Rin13 12/19/2012 3:25:00 PM
This is a very nice brush. The bristle are nice and soft, yet stiff enough for it's purpose. (I use for blush and sometimes contouring) However, I don't feel like these brushes are worth the price. I get most of mine from coastal scents and they are just as good and amazing quality.

Lipstick -MAC - Russian Red
Rin13 12/19/2012 3:23:00 PM
LOVE this color! Reds that look good on my fair/cool skin are hard to find but this one is lovely. To me, there's nothing like a sexy red lip. The formula is perfect. Not too dry but not too wet, has good staying power. As always, love the classic MAC vanilla scent.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Adore
Rin13 12/19/2012 3:11:00 PM
Don't care for the color on me. It's a mid-tone red w/ gold shimmer. Would probably look great on dark and yellow tone complexions. These are my FAVORITE lip product. They are comfortable on the lips. Smell nice. No unpleasant taste. The best part is they ACTUALLY STAIN MY LIPS! All over stains I've tried not only dry the hell out of my lips and are uncomfortable, but they don't stain.
