Polishes -OPI - Dim Sum Plum
Preeti88 8/9/2010 1:03:00 PM
This is a gorgeous deep magenta colour with plum undertones, this is shade I am always drawn to over and over again. It is creamy and applies well and dries to a high shine finish. It lasts about 3/4 days without chipping but a good base coat is needed if you don't want to stain your nails as this is quite a dark colour.

Polishes -OPI - Sand in my Suit
Preeti88 8/9/2010 1:00:00 PM
This is a gorgeous shimmery nude on my NC25 skin. It gives the 'mannequin' hands look and is great for work. I love wearing this as it makes my hands look polished and sophisticated. It is long lasting and applies well like most OPI polishes. A definite repurchase.

Powder -MAC - Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
Preeti88 8/9/2010 12:58:00 PM
I love using this powder as a setting powder for my foundation. I dust it over with a large powder brush and it helps to set my foundation for the whole day as well as adding a little bit more coverage. With a light hand this does not look caky or powdery and I usually follow up with fix+ to eliminate any powderyness. I also use this as a quick fix if I'm just going to run out to do some errands and I don't want to wear a full face of foundation. I really enjoy this product and will repurchase again.

Polishes -OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark
Preeti88 8/7/2010 6:00:00 PM
Another hyped OPI nail varnish..but does it deliver? And yes it does. It is a rich plum shade with some red undertones and it is a beautiful fall colour. On the nails it looks almost black but you do get the glimmers of purple in the light. This is one of my all time favourite shades and have owned different variations of it over the years. It is very similar to Rimmel's black cherry if you want a cheaper alternative but I guess the reason why I love this colour so much is that my mum used to wear it a lot. This shade has great staying power and dries to a lovely rich shiny finish.

Polishes -OPI - Over The Taupe
Preeti88 8/7/2010 5:57:00 PM
This was my first venture into the whole gray/mushroom nail varnish hype. This product was very hyped up on blogs and youtube so I had to try it. I love this colour even though most people think it looks awful I think it looks very chic. It is a mushroomy taupe and it glides on and dries to a nice shiny finish. It lasts better than some OPI nail varnishes but I do believe a good top coat and base coat make all the difference. I look forward to wearing it again this coming fall.

Polishes -OPI - Suzi Says Da!
Preeti88 8/7/2010 1:41:00 PM
This was my first ever opi polish and it is a deep chocolate brown. It is a lovely colour for fall. It complements my nc25 skin well and it is very long lasting, creamy and easily to apply. The effect you get is almost a dark chocolat brown Which is great if you don't want to wear black. I love wearing this polish time and time again would recommend.

Polishes -OPI - Mod About You
Preeti88 8/7/2010 1:33:00 PM
This is one of my favourite opi shades, a lovely opaque pink with hints of lavender it is an amazing colour. I really enjoy this for the summer as a pedicure colour it isn't to bright and offensive but a lovely pastel shade which have been very popular this season. My only gripe with this is that if you use this as a manicure colour this polish chips and peels very easily. Also you have to be very careful when applying as this can come out a bit streaky but I found that issue with most opaque pastel shades.

Polishes -OPI - Sweet Memories
Preeti88 8/7/2010 1:27:00 PM
This shade is kind of blah for me. I am a nail polish junkie and I love bright colours aswell as nudes and neutrals. This is a lovely milky pink in the bottle but on my nails it just looks ok. I think my skin tone does not complement the colour well. However it is still a lovely nude colours, glides on easily an is fairly long lasting. This would be great as a french manicure shade.

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Nivea Creme
Preeti88 8/5/2010 6:05:00 PM
This cream is an old classic my mum used to use this on me as a child and now at the age of 21 I have come back to it. I suffer from terrible dry skin on my hands, arms, legs and feet, so much so that my skin begins to peel around my hands and feet..yuck I know! I work in a jewellery store so I often have a lot of customer attention on my hands so i needed something I could pop into my blazer pocket. I use the thin small tin of this and it works wonders, it absorbs really well into my skin and does not leave it feeling greasy, it has really helped to soothe my dry skin on my hands and help with the peeling and cracked skin. I am considering getting the big tub next time for all over use.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer
Preeti88 8/4/2010 1:55:00 PM
This is a fantastic full coverage concealer! I use NW 25 for under my eyes only as I am NC 25 usually but they do not make this shade anymore so I can't get one for my face. As far as under eye circles go, mine are pretty bad, I am asian so no matter how much water I drink or sleep I get the circles are always there! This gives a lovely opaque coverage and blends very well into your skin. I use this with my fingers and do light layers of it until I get my desired coverage. I find using your fingers helps to warm and melt the product into your skin. The only issue I have is that you must use a setting powder under the eyes as it creases like mad! I use Benefit Powderflage. I have also heard using a Mac 224 brush gives a lovely finish.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Petticoat [DISCONTINUED]
Preeti88 8/4/2010 1:48:00 PM
I was lusting after petticoat for about a year and to my joy it was rereleased this July, I didn't however have the money at the time of release to get this or Stereo Rose but since then when pay day came and a trip to the Mac counter I got lucky, they had this in stock! I couldn't wait to try it as it swatched beautifully. It gives me an amazing rosy glow on the cheeks and its great as a blush and highlighter on my NC 25 skin. This was my first ever MSF and I love it, mine is not glittery at all just has a lovely sheen to it. I need to stock up on this when it comes out again!

Hair Styling Tools -GHD - IV Styler (all sizes)
Preeti88 7/22/2010 5:09:00 PM
I bought this straightener over a year ago after lusting after it for many years. It is fantastic as it leaves your hair shiny, glossy and poker straight. I find that I don't need to touch up my hair the next day as it stays pretty straight after using this. This also can curl and wave your hair which great so even though it retails for over £100 you really get your money's worth with this, it really is an investment product.

Styling Products -Aussie - Aussome Volume Styling Mousse
Preeti88 7/22/2010 5:03:00 PM
I love the cherry smell of this product and thats about all I like about it. It does not really volumise my hair at all, I find my hair gets a lot greasier when I use it and it builds up on my scalp. It does condition your hair however and make it softer but I find the GHD fat hair lotion works wonders compared to this. I normally love all Aussie products and was disappointed with this.

Treatments -Aussie - 3 Minute Miracle
Preeti88 7/22/2010 5:00:00 PM
I love this leave in conditioner. I have very fine hair so I find it difficult to find a leave in conditioner that doesn't weigh my hair down. This is great I use this after the aussome volume 2 in 1 shampoo and leave it in for about 2 mins and it leaves my hair silky soft and shiny. It does help a little with the split ends as it disguises them slightly but the only remedy for split ends is to get a hair cut. I mainly use this when my hair is feeling a bit dry and rough. Its a cheap product and often Aussie products are on offer so I always pick it up along with my shampoo. It has a great minty smell and it does what it says on the bottle.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Hemp Hand Protector
Preeti88 7/22/2010 4:53:00 PM
I love this hand cream especially in the winter when my skin gets really chapped. I suffer from very dry skin on my hands and feet. I use this with the gloves overnight to really get my hands baby soft and keep the smaller size tube in my handbag for on the go. It really helps dry cracked skin to heal up. I don't mind the smell its not the greatest smell in the world but it doesn't bother me.
