Treatments -Shiseido - Visible Luminizer Serum

This sucks, period. I recieved a generous sample as part of a GWP (good thing I didn't waste money actually purchasing it). It's a runny liquid which balls on my skin when I apply it. No noticable luminizing effects.

Sunscreen -Shiseido - Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion SPF 33 PA++
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 10/29/2004 3:12:00 AM

In Australia this product is sold and packaged as: Shiseido Extra Smoth Sun Protection Lotion SPF30+ (due to our stirct SPF regulations, sunscreens arent allowed to be labelled over 30.) Anyway this is hands down one of the BEST sunscreens I have ever used, it's as good as LRP Anthelios Fluide Extreme SPF40 which is my other HG. The texture is beautiful, it sits perfectly, non-shiny, no white-cast, no balling and provides excellent protection. This is their updated version of the Ultra Light Sun Protection Lotion SPF30 and I definately like this one better as the old one left me with a white cast. RRP $AU45

Blush -Cargo - The big easy
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 10/8/2004 8:29:00 AM

I love the color! It's an absolutely gorgeously pigmented peachy pink with sheer shimmer which shows up well against my yellow-toned Chanel #20 skin. Texture-wise, while it isnt as finely milled as say Armani.. at this price (AU40), I'm really not complaining. Don't really like the lid as it can come off quite easily making it hard to travel with.. but I suppose I can live with that. Here it is on the left:

Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Advanced Volume Mascara
rated 3 of 5
PradaPrincess 10/1/2004 6:37:00 AM

It's waterproof, so I was expecting it to hold a curl, but nope, instead of holding a curl, this weighed my lashes down. Volume? what volume? This clumps a bit too so you will have to comb it out with a decent lash comb (for instance Tweezerman). So average, so very very average. It's a good thing I didn't actually buy this (I recieved a GWP) or else I would have been very disappointed. Retails for $AU45 in Australia

Treatments (Eye) -Chanel - Precision Eye Tonic Dark Circle Corrector
rated 2 of 5

New Page 1

UPDATE 30/10: I'm over this. After 7 weeks or so of continual use, I have not noticed any improvements at all of my dark circles. What's even worse is that this formula has continued to dry my eye area out and I always get some sort of allergic reaction around my eye contour when I use it. Nothing too obvious but I will get slight bumps and my skin isnt even sensitive! Luckily they go away within a day or two of not using this product.

Overall, this product doesnt work at all for me, waste of money.

Purchased this on the 14th September (roughly 2 weeks ago) for AU78 and have been using it nightly since, following the instructions on the brochure. Unfortunately I'm still yet to notice any improvements, but I have my fingers crossed and will keep using it and updating this review as the weeks progress. It can be a bit drying so sometimes I wait for this to absorb first then apply some eye cream (Chanel age delay eye) over it to moisturize. The rollerball packaging is quite cute too.

Lip Gloss -Guerlain - Divinora - KissKiss Gloss #45 - Beige Caprice
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 9/19/2004 8:09:00 PM

The girls before me have said it all, it's simply BEAUTIFUL. On my pigmented lips, Beige Caprice is a gorgeous glossy and shimmery YLBB nude-brown. The texture is amazing and while I don't really like the scent, I can tolerate it. Pic in profile, RRP AU43

Treatments (Eye) -Chanel - Precision Age Delay Eye [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 9/7/2004 8:37:00 AM

Rave! I'm 20 and this is an excellent gel-cream moisturizer for my eye area. The texture is light and absorbs in very quickly.. it moisturizes well and preps my under eye area well for concealer. Not to mention the packaging (airless pump) is the best ever. RRP $82/15mL at counters in Australia.

Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios XL SPF 60 Fluide Extreme
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 9/2/2004 3:32:00 AM

Love this one just as much as the SPF40.. it does apply a tad bit shinier than the 40 but goes away as soon as it's absorbed in. Fantastic product, excellent protection, no white cast, no greasyness, dries to a comfortable finish, works well with makeup, no breakouts.. what more could I ask for

Palettes -Chanel - Levres Impression de Chanel Lipstick Palettes, (general)
rated 3 of 5
PradaPrincess 8/20/2004 9:59:00 PM

I was really looking forward to these (been lemming them since June!) but was sorely disappointed with them after trying them. The colors in each of the 3 palettes are alright, not that great. I find the palette to be rather unhygenic and gimmicky. The textures of the lipcolors were interesting, kind of an in between lipgloss-lipstick like texture and finish. However I find these are extremely drying. Plus the price (AU98) is just ridiculous. =(

Eye Shadow -Chanel - Ombre D'Eau Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow - #40 - Source
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 8/20/2004 9:55:00 PM

Probably my second favourite color behind #60 Sand. I either wear this alone as a sheer wash, wear this on my brow bone as a highlighter or I blend this together with Sand for an in between color. Really easy to use, you simply shake it up, using the doe-foot applicator (think Glossimer), dot it on your eyelid and blend. Dries in no time and stays put with absolutely NO CREASING. RRP in Australia for $AU49

RAVE! The shade is exactly what meToo described it as and it's the one seen in the print advertisement for the Fall collection. Lipstick -Chanel - Hydrabase Lipstick--Vanity (Fall '04)
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 8/19/2004 5:08:00 AM

Never judge a lippie by the color in the tube is a lesson which I learnt today. When I saw the tester, I thought to myself.. no way would this color suit me.. but my SA was kind enough to slip me a tiny sample of this (it's so cute, looks like a lippie for Barbie!). Anyway I dabbed some on very lightly over my lipbalm and it gives the prettiest natural rosy pink color. I am Chanel #20 with brown hair/eyes and slight yellow undertones.

Eyeliner -Chanel - Le Crayon Yeux - Evergreen # 60
rated 5 of 5
PradaPrincess 8/19/2004 5:03:00 AM

Ditto Candy_Highbeams! I've been waiting forever for Chanel to release a green eyepencil so I knew I had to have this one when it came out. It is a gorrgeous dark green color. While Chanel's Yeux pencils arent as smooth as their Kohls, I still find this soft and easy to apply. RRP $AU40
